Everybody understood the gravity of the situation. The Immortal Legion had a history of harassing them or their loved ones. They were unwilling to let more power fall into their hands, whatever the cost.
The other factions also prepared promptly. As for the Immortal Legion, it turned out they had already pulled out all of their troops from the blessed lands, leaving Earth altogether in order to hold up on Jupiter, where their fortifications were the strongest.
In barely any time at all, the entirety of the Indomitable Alliance was assembled. They stood lined up shoulder to shoulder before Michael and his crew, awaiting further orders.
