March 14, 1993

Fuyuki City, Japan. The Tohsaka Residence.

"I have benefited a lot from this exchange."

"Thank you for your generous guidance, Tokiomi-Sama."

Kaito Kurobane—dressed in a sharp Armani white suit, slicked-back hair that screamed "successful young elite," the look of a foreign student from a top Western university—was bowing politely. He looked barely in his twenties, but handsome enough to make even someone like Angelina Jolie fall head over heels.

Across from him stood a man in his thirties: a red suit, neatly trimmed mustache, middle-parted hair, elegance oozing from every movement.

Tokiomi Tohsaka. Outwardly, a wealthy landowner and successful businessman with real estate holdings across Fuyuki and Japan. In truth, the head of the Tohsaka family, a magus from one of Japan's long-standing bloodlines, guardian of Fuyuki's leylines, and manager of all supernatural affairs in the region.

Tokiomi smiled with practiced grace, bowing his head slightly. "You flatter me, Kaito-San. To learn about your unique magecraft… it has been a rare honor. I do hope we'll have the chance to meet again."

Kaito smiled in return. "We definitely will. But for now, Tokiomi-Sama, I'll take my leave."

With Tokiomi personally escorting him out, Kaito boarded a car arranged in advance and headed back toward his hotel. Tokiomi watched the vehicle disappear down the road before turning back inside, his expression already cooling.

The polite warmth vanished. What remained was cold calculation.

And of course that was the real him. Magi in the Nasuverse are practically defined by their lack of humanity. Tokiomi wasn't the worst of the lot, but he was still a textbook example of a "traditional magus"—capable of affection only toward his family. For everyone else? Cold indifference and ruthless schemes.

Not that Kaito cared. He had already gotten what he came for.

Because Kaito wasn't just another magus. He was a player—a transmigrator carrying the Fun System, cursed—or blessed—as a "Masked Fool," the fourth member.

His mission? To stir up fun chaos, harvest reactions, and turn that chaos into power.

Back on Earth, Kaito had been just another troll orphan on the internet. His hobbies? Meme-making, parody videos, bait posts, second-hand fun of every flavor. Ordinary life, ordinary fun.

Then some higher-dimensional being, apparently entertained by his trolling, dropped the Fun System into his lap. Suddenly, Kaito could hop between worlds, trolling on a cosmic scale.

Fate/Zero was his second world.

The first was Chainsaw Man, where he flopped hard. As a newbie, he hesitated, played too safe, and failed his main quest. The punishment? Immediate ejection. No death penalty, just "Game Over"—stripped of everything he'd gained. He even got one-shot by the Darkness Devil, courtesy of his own inexperience.

That failure burned the lesson deep: there's no holding back in this job.

So here in Fate/Zero, Kaito was done with hesitation. His troll was unleashed at full power.

Today's visit to Tokiomi had been carefully in-character: nothing suspicious, nothing wild. Just enough to unlock what he was really after.

Kaito pulled up his system panel.

[Character Card: Tokiomi Tohsaka]

[Effect: Transform into "Tokiomi Tohsaka" for 2 hours. Must maintain in-character behavior. Breaking character reduces time or cancels the disguise.]

He'd unlocked it by staying within two meters of Tokiomi for ten minutes. Simple as that. A perfect disguise: appearance, abilities, everything—except memories.

Of course, someone who knew Tokiomi personally might still notice cracks. But Kaito had a trump card.

[Perfect Acting (Passive): While roleplaying, you automatically embody the character with flawless performance. Trust me, with this skill you'd out-act Oscar winners without breaking a sweat.]

With that combo, he could pull off a perfect Tokiomi. Or, better yet, stage an absurd farce—"The Real Tokiomi vs. The Fake Tokiomi."

Imagine the comedy: "Honey, don't turn around. I'm your real husband." Or "Children, I am your true father. Get away from this imposter."

Delicious fun.

But Kaito wanted bigger. Messier. Something unforgettable.

He opened his system panel.

---

)—[System Panel]—(

↳ Player: Kaito Kurobane

↳ Level: 3

↳ Class: Masked Fool

↳ Stats: •Strength: 8 | •Agility: 6 | •Endurance: 10 | •Spirit: 8

↳ Fun Points: 281

---

Most of those points came from the Tohsaka family. Tokiomi himself had been a goldmine—201 points and now a character card. Truly a benefactor.

And Kaito always repaid his benefactors… usually by making sure they experienced maximum trolling content.

He activated his second skill: Setting Modification. It let him tweak character cards, as long as the edits stayed "in character" in some broad sense. Different life stages, alternate versions, even fanon interpretations were fair game—as long as the system judged them "still the same character."

Kaito grinned. "All right, system. I want to modify this card… Tony Stark reincarnated as Tokiomi Tohsaka."

[???]

Excuse me, what the fuck? Iron Man? Reincarnated as Tokiomi? How in the actual hell is that supposed to work?

Even cracking a voice actor joke like 'Aizen reincarnated as Tokiomi' would've made more sense! After all, the link between them is Show Hayami—their voice actor.

[Request denied. Utterly nonsensical.]

Kaito only grinned wider. "So it's not impossible—you're just saying it doesn't meet the rules."

[Correct. And don't bother with clichés like 'rules are made to be broken.' This is code-level rejection.]

"Good," Kaito said, eyes gleaming. "Then let's talk about their similarities."

[…Similarities? Between Tony Stark and Tokiomi Tohsaka?]

"Plenty. Just start the comparison protocol."

The hidden feature lit up: a progress bar requiring eight points of overlap to force a valid modification.

Kaito went down the list:

→"Tony seeks truth. Tokiomi seeks the Root."

→"Tony loves red. His suits are red. Tokiomi also loves red. His suits are red."

→"Tony had a wife and daughter. Tokiomi has a wife and daughter."

→"Tony's rich, obsessed with tech research. Tokiomi's rich, obsessed with magecraft research."

→"Tony's parents died. Tokiomi's parents died."

→"Tony died in a war. Tokiomi died in a war."

→"Tony never saw his daughter grow up. Tokiomi never saw his daughter grow up."

→"Tony was betrayed by his 'son' Ultron. Tokiomi was betrayed by his disciple, Kirei Kotomine."

"Summary: So obviously, after dying in Endgame, one Tony Stark reincarnated across the multiverse as Tokiomi Tohsaka. One day, his memories awakened—he remembered he was Iron Man. Hence, Iron Man Tokiomi is absolutely reasonable."

The progress bar hit 100%.

[…goddammit.]

The system was speechless. The logic was insane, the connections flimsy, but by the rules, it worked. Deducting 200 Fun Points, it began rewriting the card.

And Kaito gleefully added custom tweaks: "Of course, my Iron Man Tokiomi should be able to build the nanotech suit from Infinity War."

"In this world, magecraft plus tech equals magitech—totally reasonable. If Marvel has Sorcerer Supreme Tony, then Magus Tony is just as valid."

"Oh, oh—and my Tony already learned magic from Doctor Strange."

The system groaned but approved. Rules were rules.

When it was done, Kaito, back in his hotel, was grinning ear to ear.

"Perfect. Let's make this Fourth Holy Grail War unforgettable."

Without hesitation, he activated his newly minted card.

The name flickered in his vision: Iron Man Tokiomi Tohsaka.

And the trolling truly began.
