Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Young transmigrator from Liyue Harbor, the Legendary Kitchen Utensils, and the Strange Teyvat

Sunny day with a light breeze.

A tiger devouring a rock.

A handsome young man with long black hair, loosely tied at the back, wearing black boots and a black robe. At first glance, he looked no older than seventeen or eighteen.

A faint smile played on his lips, and his slightly narrowed eyes revealed bright golden pupils. He was walking along the road to Chihuyan, carrying a fishing rod and a bucket.

"Xiao Mo, are you going fishing again?"

"The weather is so nice today, I simply must go fishing."

"Xiao Mo, come by tonight. If the catch is good, I'll process it for you free of charge."

"Master Mao, thank you for your help."

Jiang Mo passed by, greeting everyone in Chihuyan with a radiant smile.

Everyone liked Jiang Mo, the young man who had arrived in Liyue Harbor three years ago and had already made quite a name for himself at such a young age.

Unlike other famous people who gradually climbed to higher positions, Jiang Mo preferred to spend his time in Chihuyan, becoming one of the locals.

"Brother Mo!"

"Brother Mo!"

Before Jiang Mo could leave, a young girl rushed out of the Wanmin Restaurant. Behind her followed a raccoon-shaped doll that looked like a plush toy.

Jiang Mo stopped as well, turning slightly sideways and giving the impulsive girl a teasing look.

The girl had a sweet face and a bright smile. Her blue hair was styled like a bear paw on top of her head, with two braids tied into loops. She wore a sporty vest and shorts, sleeves matching her chef's attire, and tall canvas boots.

The overall color scheme was red, yellow, and black. The combination of vivid red, golden yellow, and matte black gave her an elegant yet lively and festive appearance.

"Oh dear!"

Jiang Mo smiled and teased: "Isn't this the disciple of the Adepti, Chef Xiangling? Should I…"

"Ah!"

Xiangling rushed up to Jiang Mo, covering the corner of his mouth with her hand in a panic. She whispered nervously: "Brother Mo, don't say that. If you do, everyone will look at me strangely in the future."

"Hehe~~~"

Jiang Mo paid no mind to Xiangling covering his mouth, simply smiling without a word.

Xiangling rolled her eyes playfully, then lowered her head and asked mysteriously: "Brother Mo, what about that thing we talked about last time? Do you have any news?"

Jiang Mo resisted a little, not quite willing to grow too close to Xiangling.

After all—she was still a young girl. Though Liyue came from the Shenzhou civilization and was not overly conservative, caution was still necessary. Otherwise, rumors could spread, which would be troublesome.

Known for her carefree nature, Xiangling suddenly blushed to the tips of her ears and stepped back.

"Lu?"

Guoba tilted his head, looking puzzled.

Jiang Mo continued walking toward the South Wharf and asked without turning back: "Xiangling, want to take a walk?"

"Coming!"

"Coming!"

Xiangling hurried after him without hesitation.

She quickly caught up and asked with excitement and curiosity: "Brother Mo, is what you said true? Any news?"

"Of course it's true." Jiang Mo shook his head with a grin. "Xiao Xiangling, do you think I'm teasing you? Or lying to you?"

"Oh!"

Xiangling laughed helplessly, clutching Jiang Mo's arm and pleading: "Brother Mo, Brother Mo, I'm just curious! Those legendary cooking utensils are too tempting for a chef like me. I…"

"Alright, alright."

Jiang Mo glanced at Xiangling, who was already stumbling over her words, and stopped teasing her. He smiled and nodded, explaining:

"The news has been confirmed. Over the past few days, I've managed to verify it through my own channels. Out of the eight legendary cooking utensils, only two have confirmed locations. One is in Liyue, the other in Inazuma."

"Potato Peeler!"

"Potato Peeler!"

"You heard me—it's the real legendary cooking utensil!"

"That's amazing!"

"Lu~~~"

Xiangling cried out in excitement, and though Guoba didn't quite understand, he still bounced around happily, sharing her joy.

Jiang Mo watched with a smile. When Xiangling calmed down, he continued:

"However, aside from the one in Liyue, the legendary utensil in Inazuma is highly sought after—not only by the students of the Totsuki Academy in Inazuma, but also by a Fontaine chef named Aikefei."

"Huh?"

"So many people?"

Xiangling wrinkled her nose cutely, thought for a moment, then declared outright:

"Brother Mo, let's set off tomorrow! Sister Beidou is going to Inazuma on business. Let's follow her ship there. I'll go prepare right now. Guoba, let's go!"

"Lu!"

Guoba hustled after the chef girl, his little legs carrying him quickly as she rushed off mid-sentence.

Jiang Mo shook his head with a grin, murmuring to himself:

"Such a fiery personality—that's not bad. I've been in Liyue for three years now, ever since I transmigrated here. Perhaps it's not a bad idea to take a trip. I hear Inazuma hasn't issued any lockdown orders or Vision Hunts yet. I wonder what's going on in this outrageous Teyvat."

He didn't think about it any further and continued walking toward the Fishing Association on the South Wharf. He had already come this far, and if he didn't cast a line or two, he'd feel itchy.

It had been three years since he transmigrated.

By now, Jiang Mo was used to this Teyvat—a world that felt familiar yet was, in truth, chaotic and strange. And with the news about the legendary cooking utensils, he had realized just how different this Teyvat truly was.
