Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 – Plans and Priorities

Chapter 2 – Plans and Priorities

Sitting on the rooftop of the orphanage under the dim glow of a dying sun, I watched the clouds drift across the evening sky. The faint sound of children playing in the courtyard below echoed like a memory I couldn't quite connect to. Laughter, chasing footsteps, the clatter of sandals on packed dirt.

I wasn't like them.

Not anymore.

My mind drifted—drawn not to the present, but to a memory that wasn't really a memory. A vision from a world that didn't exist here.

Naruto vs. Sasuke.

Final Valley.

Their strongest forms, clashing in a storm of chakra, lightning, and will.

It was breathtaking.

Terrifying, too.

To think that two orphans—just like me—could become so powerful in this world… That excited me. But what followed, the knowledge of what truly lurked in the shadows of this world, dulled that excitement with cold steel.

Akatsuki. Orochimaru. Danzo. The Ōtsutsuki.

Even Konoha itself wasn't safe.

I clutched my knees to my chest and rested my chin on them.

"My first and most important priority is to survive this kill-or-be-killed world," I muttered under my breath. "If anyone finds out about my memories or the AI chip, I'm finished."

I pictured it: captured by Root, dissected by Orochimaru, or worse… forcefully conscripted and leashed by Konoha itself.

"Definitely can't let that happen."

I looked up at the sky, the red-orange light painting my skin in fading warmth.

"Alright. I need information first. Then training. Then strength."

I could feel it, the fire inside me slowly beginning to take shape.

"When I'm ready, I'll stand at the top of this era. And I'll make sure the entire world knows my name."

I grinned.

"Sorry, Naruto. Sorry, Sasuke. But I'm taking that number one spot."

Later that night, back in the dormitory, I pulled the thin blanket over me and stared at the ceiling. The kids were fast asleep. The only sounds were the wind brushing against the windows and the occasional snore from across the room.

"Jarvis."

Yes, I really went there. I named my AI Jarvis. What, was someone going to sue me for copyright infringement in this world?

"Yeah, you heard that right," I whispered with a dry chuckle. "Jarvis. Because why not?"

A calm, synthetic voice echoed in my mind:

[Yes, sir. How may I assist you?]

Still sends a chill down my spine every time.

"First of all… I want an analysis," I whispered mentally. "From my memories—everything related to Naruto and Shippuden. Break it down. Where do I start?"

The answer came swiftly, cold and precise:

[Based on your recollected data, standard Ninjutsu are currently inaccessible. Civilian status does not permit access to scrolls or formal chakra training. Academy enrollment opens at age six. Estimated time to entry: eleven months.]

[Although host recalls various jutsu names and effects, precise hand seal sequences are missing, with the exception of the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu. Unfortunately, this is a forbidden Jōnin-level technique, classified as high-risk due to its chakra demands and mental strain.]

I nodded in the dark.

"Right. I knew that much. Knowing the hand signs is one thing, but without understanding how they channel chakra, they're useless. They're not just physical movements—they're keys to patterns. To intent."

"But… what about jutsus or techniques that don't require seals?"

There was a pause.

[Affirmative. Based on memory cross-analysis, host may attempt basic chakra control exercises. However, discretion is advised. Leaf concentration and water surface walking are inconspicuous. Tree climbing is too noticeable in an active shinobi village.]

[Recommended starting point: Leaf Concentration Exercise.]

I sat up slightly in bed.

"And chakra control levels? Give me a breakdown based on everything I remember."

The data scrolled through my mind, crisp and clear:

[Chakra Control Progression]

Leaf Sticking (Leaf Concentration) – Foundation of control; stick a leaf to the forehead via focused chakra.Tree Walking – Vertical chakra manipulation; requires sustained control.Water Walking – Dynamic chakra modulation; adapts to shifting surfaces.Mixture Separation – Control internal chakra purity; separates impurities.Chakra Threads – Delicate external manipulation; thread creation.Rasengan (First Two Stages) – Chakra shaping and rotation; intermediate control.Shape Transformation – Mold chakra into specific forms (e.g., chakra scalpel).Tsunade's Taijutsu Style – Precise, destructive chakra bursts with perfect timing.

[Note: Tree Climbing onwards may draw attention. Rasengan Stage One and Two are theoretically possible in private, though full execution requires advanced reserves. Elemental training (paper test + first level exercises) is also feasible without exposure.]

I couldn't help but smile.

The roadmap was there.

"What about physical training?"

[Essential. Chakra is a union of mental and physical energy. Neglecting the body will bottleneck overall growth. Basic calisthenics recommended: push-ups, sit-ups, squats, sprints. Gradual increase advised.]

I sighed.

"Guess I'm gonna be a five-year-old gym rat."

The thought made me chuckle, but it faded quickly.

I wasn't in a hurry. Rushing now meant attention. Attention meant risk.

For now, all I needed was understanding, data… and patience.

One day, I'd train. I'd walk trees and split boulders.

But not yet.

For now—I observe, I plan, I adapt.

The world didn't know me yet.

But it would.
