Location the New Earth, North Pole: Within the Cube
Task Force X aka the Suicide Squad made it to the Cube, after reporting to Waller what they found, she ordered them to proceed inside, immediately shocked by the vast ice maze-like structure in a literal giant ice cube.
With so many places to go, Rick begrudgingly order the squad to split up into two team, one lead by him the other by Katana, Flag took Peacemaker and Boomerang, leaving Harley and Deadshot with Katana, they split-up one going southwest the other team going east through a direct entrance, progressing deeper in the Cube.
Meanwhile in a chamber deeper inside the Cube, Luthor and the young heroes were facing off, with Luthor smashing Rocket with a huge backhand, her bubble-field taking most of the brunt of the attack, as Robot and Gear fired their special weapons, Robots being rockets and lasers, Gear stun-bomb and shock capsules that Static charged for him, and speaking of Static he was mixing long range, with some well thrown taser-punches at Luthor's warsuit.
But Luthor fired back with flame-throwers, kryptonite beams, and after smacking away Rocket, he produced his massive kryptonite-blade pole axe, swinging it at Robot, who evaded the slash with some boosters firing from his leg armor, Luthor laughed as he activated his dome field, taking all the attacks of the other heroes, as he looked at Robot, making a mental note to take the suit, after he pries it off the fool under it, seeing some profit and other implements for that suit, after he upgrades it, with that mental note marked, he swung his kryptonite poleaxe at Static next.
In another part of the Cube, Cheshire holding her sais at the ready, with her husband Red Arrow having a arrow drawn, and Arsenal taking the rear with black and red pulse-gun in one hand, and a large energy cannon connected to his robotic arm, they entered a long hallway made of ice, with icicles and ice spikes everywhere, Arsenal he decided to contact Aqualad and the other...only for interference to feedback, 1930s music playing over the comm, he cursed and warned Red Arrow and Cheshire that their on their own for a while.
Once they'd reached the end of the hallway, reaching a hanging ice platform surrounded by stairways to other areas, Cheshire groaned, saying, "This is starting to get tedious." Roy chuckled, but Will noticed something, subtle whistle in the air.
That sound he immediately recognized, he yelled, "Everyone down!!" as soon as he said that Arsenal and Cheshire dived to the ground, as several black arrows flew passed the three heroes, once those arrows hit various spots of the area exploding, both Arsenal and Red Arrow took aim with their respected weapon, scanning the area.
When they noticed a slight shine of something, caught their eyes, as another black arrow flew again, Cheshire in a display of incredible skill and precession striking away the black arrow, allowing Arsenal to fire a powerful, deep red beam at the right stairway, causing a huge amount of damage on those stair...but Arsenal missed his target, as a black hooded man with a black quiver and bow swung towards another spot, the three heroes immediately recognized this man, and old enemy, Malcom Merlyn the Black Archer...Oliver's former greatest rival and enemy, Merlyn smiled as he swagger a bit down the stairs he landed on.
His tone mocking, as Black Archer said, "Well, well, well. The Arrow's first and cloned protegees. If Queen wasn't already dead, I've be insulted to have to clash, with inferior archers... Oh apologies. I forgot again, one of you gave up the bow, for guns, how drowl." Arsenal scoffs annoyingly, before taking aim with his pulse gun, firing a rapid burst of red energy blasts, Black Archer rolled skillfully down the stairs, without injury, avoiding Arsenal's barrage.
Taking advantage of Arsenal's attacks, Red Arrow pulled a couple of high-explosive arrows, shooting these arrow at the top and bottom of the stairway that Black Archer, was using as cover and attacking them, after a couple of seconds, a couple of powerful explosion occurred, forcing Black Archer to use one of his grapple arrow, shooting it at the roof, and grappling towards the platform, avoiding to fall towards his doom.
But now he is surrounded by the two of the late Green Arrow's protegees, Arsenal and Red Arrow, along with the former notorious assassin and mercenary, Cheshire, all ready to fight him, while Merlyn was acting boisterous before, he wasn't in full strength, still suffering from some the wounds inflicted by the black ooze, Arakune, speaking on the lesser black beast, after using his insect minions to track down Merlyn, Arakune crawled onto the area, sliding down the ice wall, unnoticed, using the stairs to reach the platform.
Right now Arakune was hanging from underneath the platform, stalking his prey, as the heroes struck, Arakune started moving closer.
Cheshire threw some smoke bombs, as both Arsenal and Red Arrow rushed in, Arsenal used a combination of brutal strikes, with stylist gun-kata against Black Archer, who blocked and redirected the attacks of the teen hero, as Roy was engaging Black Archer, Cheshire joined her "brother-in-law" if one counts that her husband is his clone...beside that she slashed at Merlyn with her sais, being attacked by two skilled martial artists, Merlyn was struck by Arsenal strikes, and Cheshire's non-lethal slashes.
Merlyn refused to lose, smashing his reinforced bow, across Cheshire's masked face, then taking a arrow out his quiver, leaping back, he shot a flash-arrow, stunning both Cheshire and Arsenal, then while still airborne he aimed at Red Arrow, that was also aiming a arrow at him as well, just as the archers were about let loose their respected arrow at the other, when a huge black ooze emerged from the side of the platform, aiming right at Black Archer, a skeletal claw sprouting form the black slime-mass hitting Merlyn on the back.
Slashing onto his back, blood gushing from the four gashes, hissing in pain he turned his arrow at Arakune and fired, as the arrow was about to make contact, Arakune sensed something dangerous from the arrow, and bending his body to make a hole for the arrow to soar through him, without touching him, as Arakune splashed onto the eastern edge of the platform, reforming into his base form, with his blank white mask on display, he watched as the arrow fired by Black Arrow pieced a nearby ice-wall, and start steaming.
Arakune chuckled, as he said, "Corrosive acid, impressive. But to slow little archer." Merlyn once again on the ground, he turn his body to his enemies and drew a couple of arrows, aiming them at Arakune and Red Arrow, with Will copying Merlyn aiming at his enemies as well.
Arakune started laughing, expressing that he's happy that Black Archer is still alive for him to kill and devour, plus he lead other flies to his web, making Arakune laugh in a insane tone, this disturbed Red Arrow as he glace at Jade and Roy, still recovering from Merlyn's previous flash-arrow, meaning aside this...thing, he has to divide his focus on fighting against Black Archer, and protecting his brother and wife, just then Arakune started spawning various eldritch like insects, before slushing forward ready to fight them...
On another part of the Cube, Harley, Deadshot, and Katana were going down a flight of ice crystal stairs, when suddenly these once solid steps, turned slippery, tripping Harley Quinn, screaming as she pulled Lawton and Tatsu along with her, as they fell down the stairs, getting some bruises as they continue falling down these stairs.
After a bit, the three Suicide Squad members reached the bottom of those crystal stairs, Harley yelled out, "That fucking sucks!!" Deadshot adjusted his mask, and he groan out, "Harl, that was your fault..." this started a argument between the two anti-villains, annoying Katana that said in her native language of Japanese, "Kuso baka-domo ga... doke!! [Fucking idiots...get off!!]" with that both the she-clown, and the world's greatest shooter, got off of Katana.
They checked themselves, luckily apart from some light bruises, they didn't hurt themselves badly, as Harley started complaining that her panties were giving her a wedgie, Katana drew her blade, knocking a thrown knife, surprising Harley, as they noticed that their not alone, at this hallway several kunoichis were rushing over to them, Harley pulled her revolver, saying, "Yo Katana, tell your girls that were friendlies!!" Katana responded in a deadpanned tone, "Harley...those aren't Japanese ninja... In fact not all assassin, come from my homeland..." Harley after firing her gun, she gasped, stating she wasn't trying to be racist, it just that ninjas are usually from Japan...realizing what she said, she fired her revolver again, pleading Katana forgive her, and not to cancel her!!

As these squad member, fought against Shiva's subordinate, she was preparing to attack these idiots, next group of Invincible, Aqualad, and Atom Eve were currently engage in a brutal battle, as Eve crashed onto a wall, then ice spread over her body, keeping her trapped on the ice wall, struggling to break herself free, she saw the one that attack her float over at her, upside down.
A flamboyantly, patchworked wearing clown, with bright yellow hair, giggling as he reached out his right hand, sparking with lightning magic, as he said, "Don't worry girlie. It's only a mountain busting thunderbolt to the face. No biggie." Eve was shocked, on how crazy and nonchalantly this guy, as white sparks intensified on his hand.
Atom Eve, surge her atom bending energy, causing a her eyes to burst with pink energy, as a pink energy explosion burst from her, and she broke out the ice, but then a yellow gloved paled hand, reached out and grabbed her on the throat, tightening as she was being choked, Kefka smile, as his [Thundraga] spell was still channeling.
Kefka spoke to Eve, "Ahh, ahh, ahh. No running sweetie, you'll miss the sparks!!" at that moment Invincible flew over, in superspeed, smashing a brutal right punch to Kefka's face, not drawing blood, or feeling something crushing into his fist, instead Kefka laughed, as he was blasted away, crashing onto a ice bridge, breaking through it, before he floated out the ice vapor and debris of destroyed bridge, floating with his legs crossed, clapping excitedly, as he started laughing, Mark, checked on his lover.
Atom Eve, rubbed her sore throat, telling Invincible she's fine, releasing small cone burst of energy from her gloved palms, flying next to Invincible, Kefka kept clapping and laughing, as he spoke, "Good!! Good!!! Destroying struggling souls, it's soo much fun!! Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on!!!!! Let's..." as several arrow-tip, fires manifest all around Kefka, in a large number, he finished speaking in a loud, mad sounding voice, "...have some fun!!!" swiping his arms, and unleashing his [Firaga] spell onto Invincible and Eve.
Several magical, fiery projectiles blasted forward, no way to evade, the two Guardians, were forced to tank the attack, with Mark wrapping his arms around Eve to absorb the upcoming damage, when a huge wave of water appeared in front of them, all the firaga exploded against the water-wall, this surprised Mark and Eve, when they noticed the dark skinned, black and red wearing Atlantean hero, Aqualad, standing on a nearby ice bridge, as he rushed over to help his comrade, using his Atlantean magic to create a water-wall to save Atom Eve and Invincible.
Mark thanked Kalder, making Aqualad smirk as he pulled back the water, with his special waterbending handles, keeping his sight on the notorious, destroyer of Bludhaven, as the three heroes watched as Kefka, was growling and acting like he was stomping the ground...while still flying, he repeated that he hated Aqualad, and he hates when others interrupt his fun!!
Then he flip himself, suddenly appearing in front of Invincible, showing his back to Mark, as Kefka is using his dark magic to sprout and stab Invincible with sets of angelic, and demonic, coated in chaotic magic, hitting the half-viltrimite with his Havoc Wing attack, stabbing the hero in several parts of his body, as Mark screamed out in pain, some blood spewing wounds being pierced into him, as he was blasted away, breaking through a ice wall, before Aqualad and Atom Eve could react to what just happen, flipping multiple time, Kefka appeared in front of Kalder next, pulling back his right leg, and giving the Young Justice leader a magic surging kick in the stomach.
Gasping in pain, and also because blood spit out his mouth, Aqualad was blasted by the magic kick of the Laughing Destroyer, falling down a chasm of this multi-leveled area, floating in place, Kefka spoke to Eve, "Well now..." turning to pink dressed super-heroine, his hand once again sparking with lighting magic, he said, "...shall we resume, our little game?" laughing as he finished saying that, Atom Eve was freaked out.
Not even Conquest unnerved her this much, but she refused to run or coward, she's taken other sickos like Kefka, so she started flying over at the clown, and firing pink bolts of energy, at him, making Kefka happy.
Dodging Atom Eve's attacks, until she manage to hit him with a empowered, two-handed beam, sending him crashing through several bridges and stairway, all while yelling out to Eve, "Yes, yes, yes!! Now you're getting it!! Destroy, destroy, destroy, let's destroy everything!!!" blasting away her beam, Kefka flew straight back at her, eager to play some more, aside from Terra, he hasn't found such a playmate with destructive potential, as this little redhead.
So Kefka wants to push her, and let her destroy so much, all for his twisted amusement, he'll definitely have to thank Alastor for sending, these fun little toys to him, as the redhead's boytoy is coming back, still bleeding but clearly still eager to fight, which was better in Kefka's eyes, sturdy toys are just as fun, as fragile one, as long as their chaos, death, and devastation, he's more than happy.
As their little game, is just getting fun, Mark was about to land another punch on Kefka, Aqualad that barely managed to catch himself from falling to his death is rushing to join the fight, and Eve was charging another atom surging blast, Kefka was exhilarated inside, ever since Bludhaven and China, he hasn't gotten to have this much fun!!
