Five years later
Ever since Mike's death. Ciara hasn'tbeen herself, her sister tried consoling her, but she wouldn't heed. She cried all the time she remembered Mike. She was thinner and depressed, and sadly the baby she lost in her womb also added to her pain.
Early in the morning she had visitors from the police force.
"Mrs Benson, we have found Mike Generic Benson " said inspector Gabriel
"What kind of sick joke is this" she asked disgusted.
"We saw him in the bushes, and so we brought him in, for questioning" the other officer said.
"Mam, we need you to follow us to station" said inspector Gabriel
They arrived at the station. She didn't want to say it, but she was happy that Mike was alive, but she was also concerned, if he was truly alive, then why didn't he come back all this while and what if it wasn't Mike.
"Mike" she said filled with surprise because he now looked and felt like an animal.
He didn't respond
"Mike , why did you leave me, all this while, I had to go through pain losing our child during your search".
He still didn't respond "Mike, am talking to you, you made me a widow, while my husband is still alive" she said as tears rolled down her eyes.
"The world is being corrupted by technology and evil inventions. I had to get away from all of this. Mankind deserves to live in a none polluted world" he said.
"And what of me, Mike, what do I deserve, you leaving me, or you breaking my heart" I asked earnestly
"Am sorry about the baby, but am not sorry for leaving you" He said firmly with his head faced down
