Norman Osborn decided to dispatch his family's private army to disrupt the 'laundry detergent' deal between the Kingpin gang and the Hand, slaughtering everyone without leaving a single survivor!
S.H.I.E.L.D. was well aware of Norman Osborn's contact with the military and his research into the super-soldier serum for them.
This was also why, even though Norman Osborn was secretly capturing undocumented immigrants and homeless people for experiments, S.H.I.E.L.D. only monitored him and did not intervene. Hydra, disguised as S.H.I.E.L.D., had even less desire to stop him!
Because S.H.I.E.L.D. also wanted a mature super-soldier serum!
Since someone was willing to spend a large amount of money on research, why shouldn't S.H.I.E.L.D. enjoy the fruits of their labor?
What S.H.I.E.L.D. had, Hydra would also have!
...And this newly appeared super-powered individual? Claiming that the dock was full of detonators and bombs?
Regardless of whether it was true or not, Nick Fury was going to pin this blame on Norman Osborn!
After all, at the dock, only Norman Osborn's private army had the capability to do such a thing!
As for the super-powered individual who couldn't be captured by surveillance cameras, who was more likely to be planting detonators and explosives?
No!
With completely sufficient 'evidence,' why bother with extra complications?
I, the Black Nick Fury, have a heart as black as night! I'm truly wicked!
Chapter 34: First Meeting with Phil Coulson!
Phil Coulson, obediently following orders, pulled over and stopped his car about seven or eight hundred meters from the target dock.
He turned off the engine and the lights, a series of actions performed with great familiarity.
Although he didn't know why the Director had once again told him not to enter the dock.
But obedience was key!
This was the reason why Phil Coulson had earned Nick Fury's trust (or so he thought) for so many years.
At least, as long as he was still capable of serving the agency and the Director, the Director wouldn't harm him, right?
He took out a tablet with technology far superior to what was available on the market and opened two videos that had just been transmitted from the agency, beginning to watch them.
Since the Director had stopped him from entering the dock, it must have something to do with these two videos, he thought.
Phil Coulson watched and pondered.
In fact, Phil Coulson, currently only a Level 7 S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, was being used by Nick Fury like a robot that never needed rest.
He had just finished handling the aftermath of Tony Stark's sudden announcement that he was Iron Man. It was already dark, and he hadn't even had a bite to eat.
Then, he was summoned by Nick Fury's 'death call.'
Touching his increasingly receding hairline, Phil Coulson could only let out a mournful sigh of weariness...
Meanwhile, Qi Jun, unaware that his information had appeared for the second time within S.H.I.E.L.D. and was now marked for potential capture.
He also didn't know that his decision not to retrieve items due to the presence of people on site had directly led a certain 'Black Nick Fury' to concoct a mysterious, unknown organization spy war scenario.
Qi Jun, at this moment, was desperately sprinting out of the dock with Big Daddy and Hit-Girl.
After a wave of attacks that took out all their pursuers, the three of them finally got a rare moment of safety.
The North Bear Gang had no idea that their pursuers had been completely wiped out by a brilliant ambush from Qi Jun and his companions.
By this time, the battle within the dock had entered a white-hot, final decisive stage.
Furthermore, with the North Bear Gang's forces tied up by the three factions inside the dock, they had no spare hands to pursue Qi Jun and his group.
This temporary lull finally allowed the three of them to escape the dock.
Identifying their direction, they immediately sprinted towards the route they had previously chosen.
Simply running out of the dock was not truly safe!
...The situation within the dock, after the chaotic shootout, had formed a triangular standoff.
Norman Osborn's private army was one side, with the strongest firepower and overall strength, but also the most suppressed.
The Kingpin gang and the Hand had a basis for cooperation and quickly integrated. Although they were not as elite as Osborn's private army, they had overwhelming numbers!
The group of burly men from the North Bear Gang were daring and aggressive, with a wild fighting style. Even fighting two factions at once, they could barely maintain the situation.
In fact, to achieve the current three-way standoff, they had even fired a few of the portable rockets they had brought.
In a few more minutes, without the deterrence of the rockets, this situation might break apart!
To be honest, the boss of the North Bear Gang practically hated the guy who gave them the intelligence.
He said there were only the Kingpin gang and the Hand, but I brought so many heavy weapons and still couldn't take them down.
And there was also an unknown mercenary group that appeared out of nowhere, almost getting themselves beaten badly.
Don't let me go back alive, or I'll definitely cut off the head of the guy who sold the intelligence and shove it up his ass!
The North Bear Gang hated the unknown mercenary group that had suddenly appeared.
Osborn's private army also hated these North Bear Gang members who had appeared out of nowhere!
They were crushing the Kingpin gang all the way, about to enjoy the fruits of victory, and then a completely irrational North Bear charged in.
If you were just fighting your Kingpin gang, that would be one thing, but what's the meaning of fighting us too?
Seeing their excellent situation ruined, Osborn's private army also harbored deep resentment towards the suddenly appearing North Bear Gang!
And the people from the Kingpin gang and the Hand, they hated them even more!
Damn it, we were having a perfectly good transaction, and suddenly an assassin appeared, killing who knows how many of our subordinates, and almost wiping out our entire side.
One assassin wasn't enough, and then an irrational North Bear appeared later, making things even more difficult for the Kingpin gang and the Hand!
Who did I provoke? Who did I offend?
Just minding our own business, in our own territory, having a small transaction with the Hand, and people still can't stand it?
