Chapter 3 - 3

First, the energy passively absorbed by the mutated Reality Stone is not reserved for Qi Jun, its host, but is entirely devoured by the mutated Reality Stone itself. For example, if Qi Jun were thrown into space, while he wouldn't be harmed by energy, he would still die from lack of energy replenishment and oxygen.

Secondly, this passive effect also has a limit: the maximum attack that Qi Jun's host body can withstand. If Qi Jun were instantly pulverized into dust, or if a powerful super-being threw him into the sun, then this passive effect would naturally fail.

Finally, the most overpowered aspect of this passive effect is that if Qi Jun cannot be instantly eliminated, the mutated Reality Stone's passive ability can endlessly restore his body.

For instance, if Qi Jun were split in two by an anti-sniper rifle, but didn't become irrecoverable dust, then the next second, he would be revived with full health and mana. The price, however, would be the intense pain of being torn in two!

Despite this, Qi Jun still considered this passive effect to be extremely powerful.

As long as Qi Jun doesn't court death—for example, by running into the energy beam of Stark Tower or getting directly hit by a high-yield missile—he can be said to possess a strong foundation for survival! As long as Qi Jun doesn't reveal it himself, who would know his weaknesses?

One must remember that even a psychic cannot invade Qi Jun's mind, so how could anyone else know what his weaknesses are?

In fact, if a psychic dared to invade Qi Jun's mind, the mutated Reality Stone would teach them a lesson. At best, their invading energy would be swallowed, and their brain region would be injured; at worst, they would instantly become an idiot or even die.

It can be said that after arriving in the Marvel Universe, what Qi Jun fears least are various psychic and soul abilities.

Of course, Qi Jun wouldn't actively cause trouble; a trump card is a trump card precisely because no one knows about it. If it's known, can it still be called a trump card?

Last but not least!

Qi Jun also understood why the Sorcerer Supreme Ancient One, and even the mages of the New York Sanctum, had not discovered him, the 'stowaway.'

This was naturally due to the mutated Reality Stone!

Even in its mutated form, the Reality Stone is not something that Ancient One and others can peer into. Even those who master an Infinity Stone cannot pry into other Infinity Stones.

Moreover, in Qi Jun's opinion, the mutated Reality Stone is a divine object even more advanced than the Marvel Universe's Infinity Stones. How could a mere Ancient One perceive Qi Jun's arrival?!

Of course, if Qi Jun were to deliberately seek death by appearing before Ancient One, that would be another terrifying story~

Clenching his fists tightly, Qi Jun finally felt completely at ease.

Without the threat of Ancient One, without the prying eyes of that peeping tom from Asgard, and with the powerful mutated Reality Stone, how could he not make a name for himself in this world?!

Qi Jun: I! Will become the strongest!

Chapter 4: First Absorption of Electrical Energy

Why did I transmigrate to the Marvel Universe?

Why am I bound to a mutated Reality Stone that is stronger than the original Marvel Universe Reality Stone?

Why me, and not someone else?

Was all of this orchestrated by an unknown organization? Or an unknown powerful being?

Qi Jun had questions, but after some thought, he decided to skip them directly.

Qi Jun was naturally curious about this, but he also knew that he wouldn't get answers anytime soon, possibly not even before he gained the ability to transmigrate out of the Marvel Universe.

Given that, why dwell on these questions?

Qi Jun was not one to overthink things, nor did he believe himself to be the reincarnation of some great figure, or that powerful individuals would inexplicably come to join him.

Perhaps his binding to the mutated, upgraded Reality Stone and transmigration to the Marvel Universe was part of an experiment by some organization or powerful entity?

In any case, Qi Jun only knew that he just needed to live his own life.

Regardless of what lay behind it all, everything should be as he wished, unrestrained and joyful, leaving no regrets. That was enough!

...The mutated and upgraded Reality Stone, bound to Qi Jun, automatically attuned itself to the origin of the Marvel Universe, but it wouldn't actively grant Qi Jun power.

Perhaps some super-powerful being set a restriction, or perhaps this mutated and upgraded Reality Stone was simply meant to be used this way.

Although Qi Jun wouldn't have his life force drained, to achieve various goals through the mutated Reality Stone, he needed to actively provide energy.

A rule similar to exchange: give me enough energy, and I will help you achieve any idea you can realize!

The energy Qi Jun needed to provide could be energy he cultivated himself, energy he actively absorbed, or even energy he actively absorbed using the [Mutated Stone].

After binding to Qi Jun, the [Mutated Stone] created a dedicated area to store the energy Qi Jun actively absorbed. However, the [Mutated Stone] would take a cut of the energy Qi Jun absorbed through it, currently a fifty-fifty split.

[Note: The mutated and upgraded Reality Stone will henceforth be referred to as the [Mutated Stone]. The full name is too long, neither aesthetically pleasing, and readers would surely think the author is deliberately padding the word count 0.0]

Qi Jun found this acceptable.

After all, as Qi Jun grew stronger, his control over the [Mutated Stone] would also increase, and his share of the split would naturally grow higher and higher until it eventually belonged entirely to Qi Jun, and the [Mutated Stone] would no longer be stingy.

Indeed, the [Mutated Stone] was only bound to Qi Jun; it wasn't completely controlled by him. Otherwise, if Qi Jun could simply eliminate the Twilight Thanos with a thought, wouldn't that be too easy?

...Having learned how to use the [Mutated Stone], Qi Jun naturally wanted to give it a try.

He looked around and realized that apart from the electrical outlets, there seemed to be no other sources of energy to absorb in the room?

"But~"

"Will I really not get electrocuted if I directly touch the outlet?"

Although he knew the [Mutated Stone] was powerful and would undoubtedly protect him from being electrocuted by the mere voltage of a residential circuit, Qi Jun, who had never been so reckless, still felt a surge of apprehension as he stared at the wall outlet.

'Damn it,'

'If I get electrocuted, I'll probably be the most hilarious transmigrator ever!'

Hiss~~

Whoosh~~~

Taking a deep breath,

'Forget it, forget it.'

'If you die, you die; if you don't, you live forever!'

'If I can't even do this, how can I become strong, how can I face the Twilight Thanos?'

Fortunately, the ruthless determination Qi Jun had developed from his struggles in society before transmigrating was ignited. Although still somewhat apprehensive, Qi Jun was not prepared to back down.

He searched left and right, rummaging through things, and Qi Jun helplessly discovered that the room was too damn clean; he couldn't even find a spoon?

Having no choice, Qi Jun finally had to remove the ear pick and folding mini-scissors from his keychain.

Holding the ear pick in one hand and the mini-scissors in the other, after a moment of hesitation.
