Chapter 10 - Chapter Ten: The Pirate's Charisma

Near the coastal city of Tosa, where the ports teemed with merchant ships, stood a very different ship. A massive vessel with black sails, surmounted by a strange emblem: a dragon's head opening its mouth as if swallowing the sea. It was the ship of the pirate Trunks, a man whose name was whispered in the markets like a living legend.

Trunks stood on the deck of his ship, his long brown hair blowing in the wind, his blue eyes shining like the sea on a stormy day. He didn't have a beard like most pirates, but his sharp features exuded confidence and cunning.

His crew was large, hundreds of men from diverse backgrounds: deserters, former soldiers, and even merchants who had betrayed their cities to join his adventures. Yet none of them dared disobey him. It wasn't just fear, but admiration for his irresistible charisma.

Trunks raised his hand, and silence fell. Then he began to speak, his voice strong and rising above the roar of the waves:

"Men! We have sailed the seas, fought storms, and plundered gold from the jaws of kings. But that was only the beginning!"

The crew's voices rose in cheers, but Trunks signaled for silence, and they obeyed immediately. He continued in a more strident voice:

"Gold passes away, spoils are forgotten… but glory, only it endures! And where is glory if not in the heart of Greece, in Athens itself?"

The words echoed through the air like a thunderbolt. Athens… the city everyone dreamed of conquering.

Trunks smiled confidently and said:

"King Silius is dead, and his throne is now without a protector. The rebels fight each other, and the weak fight like hungry wolves. But we… we… will be the storm that swallows them all!"

The men's voices rose in cheers again, this time louder than ever. They clapped, stamped their feet, and chanted his name:

"Tronix! Trunks! Trunks!"

One of his commanders, a large, bald man named Marcus, approached him and said in a low voice,

"Sir, Athens isn't just a city. It's the heart of Greece, and everyone will fight for it."

Tronix smiled, his eyes shining with cunning.

"And that's what makes it worth it. Whoever controls Athens… controls everything."

Then he raised his voice again, addressing his men:

"Get ready, wolves! We will sail for Athens, not as pirates seeking booty, but as conquerors seeking the throne!"

The crew's voices rose in cheers, so that the sea itself seemed to tremble under their excitement.

Tronix stood on the prow of the ship, gazing at the horizon with fearless eyes. Inside, he saw Athens not just as a city, but as a crown waiting to be placed on his head.
