Serena stared at the two, Kiro holding a wooden plank while Theo had several more placed everywhere, making her stop in her tracks and wonder just what in the hell they were doing.
Wooden planks they had treated some time ago were scattered everywhere outside the front of the hut and there was a strong scent in the air. She couldn't quite figure it out, but it was horrible.
"What are you two doing?" Serena finally asked after taking in the scene.
Theo glanced up at her and said, "Oh Serena… Great timing. Could you pass me that wooden plank over there?"
He pointed out a wooden plank near him just as Kiro answered her question and exclaimed, "We're building a coop…. That way we can have lots of eggs!"
Serena wanted to smack herself at his words. She had gotten so distracted with other things that she had forgotten about their coop project.
