Considering that the mall was full of surveillance cameras, it was not much of a problem for Onyx to be able to get the footage.
Because of that, it was easy for Michael to be able to monitor the movements of Margaret and the lady who was beside her.
Through facial recognition, Michael was able to find out the information regarding Rachel. She was Margaret's niece, and had been living with Margaret since a young age.
Of course, Michael was able to get quite a detailed profile of the two ladies. It was just that, apart from the relationship with his father, it did not seem as though there was any other tie between him and Margaret.
