There was quite an extended moment of silence after Margaret asked the question. Matthew was not really sure on how he was supposed to reply, he felt completely hesitant.
Looking at him, Margaret was able to figure out something. Clearly, the person that she wanted to meet was not here.
Squinting her eyes, she gazed at Matthew and asked, "What is it? Don't tell me that you are unwilling? Maybe, do you think that my niece is not good enough for your grandson?"
As she asked that question, her voice was low, but the coldness within it did not diminish at all. Immediately, Matthew and Newton understood that Margaret wasn't happy.
Despite the hesitation, the old man finally decided to speak. He had already made a decision a few moments ago, after thinking hard about it.
