"Headshot!"
Just after pulling the trigger, the man suddenly exclaimed, his voice tinged with excitement and pride.
Being a sniper did not imply that it was easy to be able to get a headshot, especially from such a long distance. So, every time that he got a headshot, he was usually excited.
It was just that, the excitement in his heart suddenly faded, as it was replaced by confusion.
Through the scope of the sniper rifle, he could see that the target had actually received a headshot. But, why was it that the head did not explode with blood splashing everywhere?
Additionally, the bullet did not shake the target in the slightest. Instead, the target was standing in the same place, as if he had not been affected at all.
'What's going on? Could it be that I missed? But, what is with his reaction? If the window suddenly shattered next to a person, should they not react?' The man could not help but wonder to himself.
