In a blink of an eye, a year had gone by after Shiro awakened his chakra.
After seeing his relentless and brutal training and his awakening, Shinki had offered to teach Shiro before he enrolled to the Academy.
Shiro had of course agreed. He knew his knowledge from his previous life was useless for training purposes and having a chunin train you from the basics was the best bet he had.
Shinki didn't teach him anything special. He instead focused his attention on the skill he had developed the most: Kenjutsu.
Shinki was a sword user himself and he felt ninjutsu and chakra control were still too early for Shiro to learn so day by day he taught Shiro the Konoha style sword and it's moves.
Additionally he also taught Shiro the basics of Shurikenjutsu. He had originally planned to get the kid used to throwing the shurikens but who knew Shiro would be so talented and hard working.
"Status" Shiro called out while taking a shower.

He quicky freshened up and grabbed the violin he had on his room. Packing the violin on his bag, he got out of the orphanage and met Kisuke on the way.
"I'm going out for a while" he said looking at Kisuke.
Kisuke noticed his violin bag and sighed a bit.
"Okay. Come back before dark."
Normally, Shiro would have talked to Kisuke about different things but today was a different day. He was in no mood to idle around and Kisuke seemed to understand.
Shiro made his way out of the orphanage and walked straight to his destination with an absent look on his face.
A short walk led him straight to his destination the graveyard.
Today was his birthday and also the day his mother died. Although Shiro never interacted with his parents, he knew how much his mother loved him after knowing the full story of his parents.
He was an orphan in both of his lives but he at least had parents that cared about his future and that filled him with an emotion he could not comprehend.
Taking out a piece of white cloth and a small knife, he wiped the grave of his mother and cut the weeds growing around it. He placed a beautiful white flower on the grave and knelt in front of it for a while.
He took out the violin from the bag and slowly sat down beside the tree next to his mother's grave.
Placing the violin on his shoulder, he remembered a song he had heard while watching Naruto as a kid.
The song that showed the grief and the sorrow of losing one's parents represented by the title itself.
Fans of the show complained about the overuse of the song but Shiro had always resonated with the song in his past life.
Getting the useless thoughts out of his mind he started playing the song that went by the name : Grief and Sorrow.
Closing his eyes the slow and peaceful melody of the violin covered the graveyard.
The peaceful notes containing the profound feeling of sorrow and longing filled the ears of everyone present.
The memory of their loved one flashed in their minds as Shiro continued playing the notes of the song. The sounds of laughter and love from the past brought a sense of peace and joy in the hearts of many but the grief present in the atmosphere never seemed to fade away.
As the notes of the song went by, Shiro remembered himself looking at the happy and joyful expressions of the kids he saw in Konoha and in his past life.
Looking at the scene of a happy family from the sidelines full of envy and longing, his violin continued to sing the tune of his sorrow and his longing. Even without realizing, tears were already dripping down his face as he continued to play the melody of his emotions.
His eyes were closed but the tears kept on rolling and his hands continued the song. The others in the graveyard also saw the picturesque scene of Shiro and burned the image of the child no older than five braving his way out of this cruel world.
Unbeknownst to everyone present, there were two more people who were looking at Shiro with complex emotions on their face.
The Third Hokage, who was watching from his crystal ball and Uchiha Shisui who was alerted about an Uchiha who had grown up at the orphanage and awakened his chakra at four years of age.
Both of them had come to see the young prodigy but the scene on the cemetery filled them with self-blame and pity.
Pity because a kid of that age was expressing such an incredible amount of sorrow and grief and self-blame because both the Hokage and the Uchiha knew about the child who was born from a Senju and an Uchiha and later abandoned by their respective faction.
