The battlefield was silent now, wolves and vampires alike staring at the aftermath. Lilith was defeated, Selene stood powerful, and Kael—though wounded—still lived.
Ryn growled, stepping forward. "This is madness! Wolves and vampires cannot live side by side!"
Morwen of the coven hissed from the shadows. "She is a traitor. The Alpha is weak. They must both be destroyed!"
Selene rose, her body trembling but her gaze fierce. "Enough! I am done with your wars, your hatred. For centuries you've spilled blood for pride and fear—but look around you. Look what it has cost."
Her voice rang out, commanding both sides. "We have a choice. Continue this endless war… or let it die with us tonight."
