"Good," Satou said.
"How do you want to do this," Seraphina asked. She wasn't asking because she couldn't make the decision — she was asking because this was Satou's call, his sense had found the location, and she understood the hierarchy of this specific situation.
"I go in first," Satou said. "You two cover the exit. If something comes out that isn't me or isn't a Fenryn child, stop it."
"And the children?" Morgana asked.
"If they're conscious, they're scared. Scared children seeing a demon lord coming through a cave entrance might not react predictably." He thought for a moment. "Morgana, can you create a calming effect? Not sleep — I don't want them unconscious if I need to move them quickly. But something that blunts the immediate fear response."
"I can," Morgana said. "It's a subtle working. I'll need to be closer to the cave entrance than the exit position."
"Position yourself where it's useful," he said. "Just be outside before I go in."
