Size - The creature was easily two hundred feet tall when it landed, its weight crushing stone beneath massive clawed feet that ended in talons like siege weapons.
And throughout its impossible anatomy, features that didn't belong—mouths that opened in places mouths shouldn't exist, eyes that saw from angles that violated geometry, appendages that flickered between dimensions.
The creature's lion-skull head tilted back and it laughed again, the sound carrying the harmonics of something that found mortal suffering amusing.
Then it spoke, and the voice was familiar despite the dimensional distortion.
"MAGNIFICENT!" The words came from the creature but carried Elric's distinct accent, his tactical authority, his command presence amplified to god-like proportions. "THE SACRIFICE IS COMPLETE! FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY OF MY OWN SOLDIERS! TWENTY OF YOUR DEFENDERS! ALL OFFERED WILLINGLY TO THE ANCIENT ONE!"
