prince or princess?

there once was a beautiful princess her name was mai, one day mai sunck out the manor to go to her secret garden as she was on her way she saw a litte girl who looked identical to herself same emerald green eyes same brown curly hair the only difference was there clothes one wore rags while the other wore a beautiful dress covered in gold jewelry pearls and layers of silk so the princess asked her father to take the girl off the street and he agreed so she took her to the palace and had her bathed and gave her some of her own clothes the girl had no name so mai name her jul, jul did not speak often in fact she didn't speak for the frist year she was at the palace, but in spite of that she grew close to mai she was like a true big sister but that bond. didn't last long, as the years flew by it was now there debut there are now 14 of age, as mai was getting ready for hers and Jul's debut ball jul walked in and asks mai. must I walk next to you. she said as she rolled her eyes. yes jul it is part of the debut jul. jul stormed out of the room. Marie why has jul started acting like this she used to be so kind she asked her maid. hm its probably because of stress from the debut pay no mind to it princess just focus on the debut. but mai couldn't stop thinking about it... as it is now almost time for the debut jul and mai get ready to walk in. NOW ENTRING PRINCESS MAI AND PRINCESS JUL.. as they walked side by side. people clapped and cheered for. them as they made there way down the stairs many prince's asked them to dance jul accepted the dukes son dericks offer to dance. mai on the other hand was surrounded by prince's but then she felt some one grab her hand and pull her away from the chaos she turned to see who it was it was a person with long black hair and though a black mask she saw bright golden eyes as she snaped back to reality the person was gone. as she turned around she saw marie calling for her. marie im over here! she shouted. oh princess what are you doing under the stairwell the king is looking for you its time for you to dance. but marie do i have to dance with one of the prince's. yes princess its part of your debut. 'sigh' fine i shall find someone to dance with. as she walked back to the ballroom she saw jul talking to some of the high society princess's who's all already had there debut ball's as mai was on her way to jul she got stoped by the pirnce of Galena and he asked to dance. she remember what marie said and accepted his request. as the music started to play. people where in awe as they saw the two dance perfectly in sync when the music ended people started claping. the two did there bow. as the night went on mai couldn't stop thinking about the person. finally the night came to an end as mai was getting ready for bed she asked marie if she knew who this mysterious person is. 'hmm i don't know princess. it was probably one of the prince's from onther nation but the only prince i know of that has black hair is the emperor's son but he has short hair not long hair' as mai was in deep thought she remembered that the person had golden eyes.
