Jay's POV:
I saw the person I never wanted to see here—Kaizer.
Kaizer: "Finally, you are here. Do you know how much your family and friends have been missing you?"
As I looked around, I saw Aries Ella tied up and surrounded by his men. Ella was crying silently, and Aries looked worried and angry too.
Jay: "Why the hell did you capture them, huh?"
Kaizer: "Really, you are something. I must say, you are better than his other girlfriends. Now just shut up and come with me. I am not here to listen to you, or it won't be good for you, your family, or your friends."
His men held me, and then they took the three of us to an abandoned building. As we entered, I saw Section E except for Drew, Yuri, and Keifer—girls, Honey, Keigan, and Keiren were there too.
Jay: "What the hell do you want, asshole?"
Then one of the men gave me a tight slap, causing blood to start coming out from the side of my mouth. As I tasted blood, my whole mind went blank, and I didn't realize I started beating every one of his men.
Everyone was shouting my name to stop, but I didn't. I only stopped when I hit all his men. Suddenly, we heard a voice—it was Keifer's, the king of Ulupongs.
Keifer: "Jayy..."
That was the last voice I heard before everything went black in front of my eyes.
Keifer's POV:
After dropping Jay home, I entered inside, and all the helpers and bodyguards were standing there, which was very unusual. I don't allow anyone to roam around freely. Seeing their worried looks, I called one of the helpers and asked about Keiren and Keigan. They told me both of my brothers were taken by my monster of a father.
I started getting worried and ran towards my car, calling Angelo, but he didn't pick up. Then I called my future Mrs. Watson, but she didn't reply either. Then came the call I never wanted to answer.
Kaizer: "Hello, my son. I hope you've heard about your brothers, friends, and, lastly, your loving wife."
Keifer: "If anything happens to them, I swear, I won't take a second to break your bones and give you such a painful death that you'll beg for death itself."
Kaizer: "I'm not here to listen to your warnings. If you want them alive, come here alone within 15 minutes. You know I don't like to wait, so come fast. I'm sending you the location."
I didn't care about traffic lights; I only wanted to reach there. It was an abandoned building. I went inside, and the scene I saw made the ground slip from under my feet—Jay was fighting. I could hear Section E and others shouting, but my eyes were only on Jay. All the men of my monster father were on the ground.
I shouted her name. She looked at me with teary eyes—it broke my heart into a million pieces. She was fainting. I ran as fast as I could and held her. Section E released themselves and the others. I started to tear up seeing my life—my Jay—faint on the ground.
Keifer: "Call the AMBULANCE now!"
She had cuts and bruises on her arms, and her leg was bleeding. Aries called the ambulance. I could see worry in his eyes, like he was about to cry any moment.
The ambulance arrived, and I went with her.
At the hospital:
The doctor started operating on her. I went to check on Keigan and Keiren—they were physically fine but mentally disturbed, as were all the girls. Some of the Section E boys and Aries went to send the girls home, but I couldn't think of anything else except her.
It had been 6 hours, but she still hadn't woken up. I felt so worthless because of myself. Jay was here, and I could do nothing but cry and sit beside her.
The doctor told us it was due to exhaustion and trauma.
Jay's POV:
I woke up with extreme pain in my head. As I opened my eyes, I saw something that broke my heart—my Keifer lying near the bed, his head on my hand. Tears stained his cheeks, dark circles clearly visible like he hadn't slept for days. I placed my hand on his hair. He smiled in his sleep, which gave my heart new life.
He woke up and saw me with big eyes.
Keifer: "Jay, you're awake..."
I couldn't speak due to the pain in my throat.
He understood and gave me water, telling me not to speak.
Then he went to call the doctor. I could see how worried and happy he was at the same time.
