"You made some.... finishing touches woman?" Kian mused as he looked at the orb in confusion.
"Yes, and let's get two things clear."
The lady said as she stopped playing with the orb and looked at Kian sternly.
SNAP!
"First off all, I'm Amaris and your a mere human."
She after snapping her snapping her fingers which caused Kian to transform into Mason.
"Second of all, when were in here no doing that."
Amaris pointed which caused Mason to raised an eyebrow in curiosity.
"Last time?"
Mason mused his voice deep but calm.
"Oh yes, that was a premature effect awakening so don't mind it much."
Amaris said as she walked around the table with the orb in her hand.
'Effect awakening... what's that? Could it be like a cardinal point or something greater, we'll whatever it is...'
Mason thought as a curve tugged at corner of his lips and he then looked at Amaris who suprisingly had given more attention to him than the orb.
"It doesn't really matter you know."
The statement caught Amaris off guard but her surprised looks sooned twisted to one of shear rage but with a slight hint of calmness to it.
"And if it doesn't you could die here right now."
Amaris said as she looked down Mason while holding the orb with a deadly grip as if... she wanted to smash there and then.
Mason noticed this but his calmness didn't waver by the slightest bit all that really mattered was one.
This girl is powerful, really powerful and she could kill him off at any time.
And two, he didn't need to really care about the current situation because even if he died there and then again... HE would come get him.
These thoughts keenly crossed his mind and for a moment Mason had forgotten where he was.
RUMBLE!
That was until a sudden rumbling sound caught him off guard and his attention turned back to Amaris who seemed to look at him with more curiosity than anger now.
'Hehe, this woman... I mean Amaris is quite the confusing one. One moment she wants to destroy my cardinae without hesitation and now she looks at me with admiration. Well it's not that confusing-she is a girl and girls will be girls and guess.'
Mason thought as another devious smirk curved up on his face which puzzled Amaris even more.
'This girl is supposed to be a girl right which means....,' he thought as he then stood up from where he sat and slowly walked towards Amaris.
"Tsk, you humans never knowing where you belong and now you confidently walk towards me yet I could kill with the single snap of my fingers."
Amaris said while looking sternly at Mason who had stood before in a suit much likely given to him by her.
"Why would I do this you ask? Well, it's because...."
He paused before grabbing her by the waist and pulling her close to him as he stared down deeply into a ocean blue eyes and purplish-pink pupils.
This didn't cause Amaris to have any likely reaction to Mason's action.
She instead smirked and wrapped her arms his shoulders gave him a responsive smirk and said...
"Because....?"
"I... know a lot of things."
Kian said which caused Amaris to raise an eyebrow in marvel at his claim before bursting out in laughter.
"You've only been in this world for only 2 days and now you think you a lot of things?
Ha...hahahahaha!"
Amaris pointed out at Mason while laughing uncontrollably.
"If you know a lot of things about this world or methinks tell me at least five things you know, just five and I'll tell about the finishing touches I made to your cardinae."
Amaris said while smiling proudly at Mason.
Mason knew that situation had gotten out of hand in fact he had just said that out of a whim that Amaris might've immediately submitted to him in fear of his so called knowledge.
But despite that fact....
'I must know what she did to my cardinae!'
Mason thought as looked at Amaris whose gaze hadn't left him alone for even a moment.
"Cardinaes, pathways, supporters, forbidden cardinal warriors and... Wonderors."
Mason said each word for word which caused Amaris to smirk.
SNAP!
She once again snapped her fingers and the two were instantly sited on the chairs again.
"Tell me boy, tell me everything you know about those five things you just blurted out of the blue."
Amaris said as she then summoned a glass of cold lemonade that had ice cubes in it.
'This is gonna my biggest gamble but.... let's go," Mason nervously thought, but his face expression said other.
"Cardinaes, what are they? You ask, and I shall not tell you I respond, but what I can tell you is... that orb you have there has not one but two cardinaes within it."
Mason said which caused Amaris to nearly choke as she sipped the lemonade and put her glass down and said...
"What makes you think so... mortality?"
"Hmph," Mason scoffed in relief as he answered,"Because every cardinae reacts to it's companion in different ways."
"Oh? And since when does that happen?"
'Hehe... trying to play your cards roughly i see,' Mason thought as his lips moved to respond,"Since when you ask since the very beginning of this phenomenon which is called the growth stages of a cardinae and thus particular stage we. shall. call...."
Mason paused before swiping the lemonade and chugging in it down in one go.

"Ahhhhh!"
Mason sighed in satisfaction with a deep hum in his voice.
"We shall call it... the merit stage."
