Chapter 1 - Chapter one

Chapter one"Felix please have mercy on her, she's your daughter" Fiona my stepmother cried out as I laid on the floor severely wounded and bleeding, I could hear her weeping without having to turn around to confirm. The house was in a mess with broken shards of glass laying all around, the sound of my stepmother crying, the evil grin of my stepsister behind me and the heavy exhales of the man in front of me, 'MY FATHER'"No daughter of mine would ever bring shame to me in such way, this is the height" my father Felix Locke said practically fuming, as today wasn't the first time such an event occurred, but still it was a lot different as the matter at hand was about something unexpected."How dare she bring such bastards into my home, first she was sleeping around and almost destroyed my company's reputation, and now she dares to show herself to us with nothing but bastards in her belly and refuses to abort""But still, she's still just a child" "A child!!!, tell me Fiona does being my child calls for this stupidity"Among the mist of all the bickering and wailing my step-sister Flare stood aside behind me, with a grin plastered on her face. But of course, why wouldn't she since she was the mastermind behind everything."Father" flare cried "so what are we going to do now, what's going to happen to sister Rasiel?" she asked with her oh so plastic tears streaming down her face."I going to do what I should've a long time ago, Siel you have a choice, get an abortion or leave this household"I've long awaited the day that this will happen, ever since the day that Mother was gone, I've had no say, no will, and the place I once belonged had turned to a cave that rears serpents and hide wolves… At least I had one person by my side until the end. "Thank you step mother" I said calmly like a whisper from the bottom of my heart before raising my head to meet the icy cold glare of my father, one that was ever so loving and kind."GO TO HELL" I replied with a mocking scoff at my Father."Very well you have made your choice, you will be gone before midnight, and without so much as treatment either, just take your belongings and leave" my father said, he's cold tone leaving no room for negotiation.Thirty minutes before midnight I was at the Foregates of the Locke Mansion with my luggage, hearing my name from a distance I turn to see Fiona at the doors of the mansion, tears streaming down her eyes like waterfalls during spring. I had wished that at least she wouldn't cry but, still, it made me glad that atleast at the broken hour of midnight in this cold winter, there was someone who would cry as I left. It made me glad, sympathetic even towards myself, as I turned to leave.
