Jay's Pov
It was 10:00 p.m, Keifer would be here any time now.
Keiren and Keigan were also impatiently waiting for him.
Keiren and Keigan hugged Keifer as he walked inside. He hugged them back and
looked at me and then smiled.
The smile that said I am coming to you next, which was warm and reassuring.
My heart jumped, and I hugged him.
Oh, I forgot that I should not jump now. Notat least for nine months.
" I missed you," he said, placing his face on my shoulders.
He looked like a child, and I giggled.
I parted ways. His face was like he wanted more of a hug.
" I missed you too. All the time I was thinking about you." I said dramatically.
" Did Percy come here today?" He asked.
" No", I replied.
" Then why are you behaving like him?" he said.
Keiren and Keigan laughed. But then stopped looking at my stare.
Talking about my brother-in-law? A voice came from behind.
It was Percy
Oh, why are you here, Percy? hugging him
"'Cause I missed you, Keif!" Percy said, hugging him tighter.
And by the way, why are you guys wearing these dresses? Keifer asked. Looking at us all.
I said with a smile, "Guys, you can come now!" making him raise an eyebrow.
Suddenly, everyone came with the Party poppers popping and screaming Happy Birthday, Keifer!!!.
Keifer froze and stood still.
Then I went and hugged him tightly and said, "Happy Birthday, Hubby, you really forgot your own birthday?
Then he quickly wrapped his arms around me and said, "Guess I really buried myself in work"
Then immediately Percy and Ci-n said loudly, "Hoyy, loverbirds, please notice that we are also alive and you have the whole night to yourselves". Then we pulled back our cheeks, flushed, only to find everyone laughing.
"Happy birthday, Keifer"
" Happy birthday, our class president"
" Happy birthday, the king of ulupongs"
" Happy birthday, the king of ass holes"
" Happy birthday, our sweet kuya"
" Happy birthday to our leader"
" Happy birthday, handsome ma,n but not more than me"
" Happy birthday, Jay's hubby"
" How is the decoration?" I asked.
" Beautiful but not more than you", Keifer replied.
We had forgotten about everyone, and our faces were about to ___
Angelo coughed.
Everyone started teasing. We then realised and pulled away.
" We still hadn't left. Please wait for us to leave them. You can continue," Angelo
said.
Then Mumma Keigan and Keiren quickly came and hugged Keifer, followed by Section E and my family.
Aries told Keifer that "Jay had planned something huge for you".
Keifer said, "She is alone enough for me" Only to get a whisper from Angelo ", So Dramatic"
Then I said it was time to cut the cake.
I gestured to Tita and Mumma to bring the cake from the kitchen.
Then came out the big blue and black coloured cake, in which was written Happy Birthday Keifer with vanilla icing.
We lit the candle, sang Happy Birthday, and he cut the cake and fed the first bite to me, followed by everyone else.
Now gift time , Ci-n shouted, and everybody cheered.
The whole section e, together, gave him a handmade photo frame of us together.
There were many photos of us together.
Aries and Ella gifted him shoes.
Angelo gifted him a luxury watch.
Mumma and Tita gema gifted some clothes.
Then Keifer opened everyone's gift and thanked them.
Then Felix asked me, "Jay, what's your gift?"
I replied, "You'll get to know now"
Then I had brought the box from up, in which I had kept the baby clothes and with the ultrasound that I took during my second visit to the hospital.
I came back and took Keifer to the happy birthday signboard.
Then I told him to open the small paper I had covered earlier.
The whole hall was filled with curiosity.
He pulled the paper and froze, whereas the others erupted into cheers.
He turned towards me, eyes glistening with tears and asked, "Am I going to be a dad, Jay?"
I replied, "Yes idiot," and gave him the box.
He opened the box and then hugged me tightly, saying, "Thank you so much, Jay, this is the best gift of my life, I promise to protect you both till my end"
Everyone's reaction:
" What is in there that got you this surprise"
" He is acting like Jay just told him that she is pregnant"
" Yeah, and he is gonna be the father"
I just nodded, and they also froze.
I was very happy. I am finally going to be a father.
Now, my world is complete.
There was Jay's report in it. Oh my god, did she go to the hospital alone?
I can't believe.
"But next time coming with you" I said
"Always", I replied
Soon, everyone hugged and congratulated us both.
Few bright smiles and a few teary faces.
