Keifer's POV
Today, Keigan and Keiren were returning to the Philippines. So, Jay and I dropped them at our Private jet and returned home.
[At Home]
I was watering the garden.
After finishing that, I went inside the house and straight to the kitchen, looking for something to eat.
I found some chocolate in the fridge, grabbed it, and went upstairs to my room.
I went inside the room and sat on the bed.
Jay was arranging my clothes in the cupboard.
"Do you want some?" I asked.
"Nah, I'll eat later," she replied.
"You really don't want to eat?" I asked.
"No, I don't want to eat right now," she answered.
I started eating the chocolate.
When she was done, she came and sat next to me.
"Keifer, when will Papa come back from New York?" she asked.
"Next week", I replied
"But why so late?" she asked me.
" The company is facing a loss there, so it will take time to fix it. " I said
"But Papa didn't say anything about that to me," She asked.
"Don't worry, he'll be back soon", I replied.
Jay's POV
"I want to eat ice cream," I said.
"There's no ice cream in the fridge. We'll have to go out," he answered.
"I don't feel like going anywhere. Can't we just get it delivered instead?" I asked.
"Then let's order something to eat," he replied.
"Okay, okay, let's just order," I said happily.
(In the evening)
We were both sitting on the couch in the hall.
Ding ding...
The doorbell rang.
A maid went and opened the door. She took a box from someone who was standing outside, then closed the door and brought the box to us.
"Ma'am, someone asked me to give this to you," the maid said while handing me the box and leaving.
I looked at Keifer, then at the box.
It was heavy; it felt like there was an animal inside.I opened the box.
Layla
As the box opened, she jumped on me.She was wagging her tail, placed her paws on my shoulders, and started licking my face.
I hugged her, and as I let go of the hug, I caressed her head.
"By the way, who would have given it?" Keifer asked.
"I don't know, but whoever did it did a good job," I answered.
Suddenly, he called a maid and said something to her.
Then the maid went away.
A short while later, a bodyguard arrived holding a laptop and handed it over to Keifer.
Keifer saw something on the laptop and murmured,"This is the same person we met at that party."
Suddenly, I saw something on Layla's stomach as she turned,
A cut that was stitched up.
We need to take the pet to a veterinarian; it appears to be a severe wound. He said.
Someone has cut it. I replied
Let's go to the doctor. He said.
We both took Layla, went out of the house and sat in the car.
We quickly reached the nearby pet hospital.
We got out of the car, went inside the hospital.
There were different types of sections there, so we went to a section that
provides
Treatment.
As we went inside, we found a doctor,
The doctor asked us.
What do you want to get done?
There is a cut on her stomach; we have to treat it. Keifer answered.
We will have to open this stitching of this cut. Doctor said.
Ok, please do whatever you can. I said.
They took Layla to a room.
When he came out after half an hour,
He told us that there was a tracker inside Layla's stomach.
What? My mouth fell open.
How? And why? Keifer asked.
I don't know, but here is that tracker.
The doctor said while giving that
tracker to Keifer.

How can someone do this, and if so, then why? Keifer said.
It can be that someone is keeping an eye on us. I thought and said.
