"Where is it going?"
Through Lucario's aura, the image of Carbink escaping appeared in Ethan's mind.
Ever since it began fleeing, Carbink had been digging straight toward the underground.
Suddenly, the image in Ethan's mind changed.
He saw the image of a kingdom hidden underground slowly appear in his consciousness.
"This is... It can't be such a coincidence, right?"
Ethan opened his eyes abruptly, with an expression of surprise.
Had he found the Diamond Kingdom after crossing only one Secret Kingdom?
He closed his eyes again, and the scenes of the Diamond Kingdom appeared in more detail in his mind.
Immediately, a large number of Carbink appeared in his mind. Those Carbink were playing inside a huge cavern.
And surrounded by those Carbink, in the center, there was a pink stone floating in the air.
"The Heart Diamond!"
Seeing that stone floating in the air, Ethan's eyes shone.
Just as he wanted to observe the Heart Diamond more closely, a figure suddenly appeared.
That figure had a round pink gem on its head, as well as a crown formed by four octahedral diamonds and two elongated diamonds.
Around its neck, it wore a golden bow embedded with an octahedral diamond. The upper part of its body was like a white skirt, while the lower part was similar to Carbink's: a rough diamond ore with part of the diamond exposed.
That Pokémon was precisely the legendary Diancie, the princess of the Diamond Kingdom!
Boom!
The instant Princess Diancie appeared, Ethan felt his mind tremble and was forced out of Lucario's Aura perception.
"The Diamond Kingdom and Princess Diancie."
"I didn't expect this place to really be the Diamond Kingdom."
Ethan took a deep breath and suppressed the excitement he felt.
"Slowking, is there any way to enter the Diamond Kingdom using Teleport?"
Hearing Ethan's question, Slowking closed its eyes to perceive for a moment and then shook its head slightly.
"Luucaarr!"
Seeing this, Lucario walked over and indicated that it could help.
Very soon, the two Pokémon reached an agreement and nodded toward Ethan.
"Then I'll leave it to you two."
Ethan recalled Melmetal and spoke to the two Pokémon.
In the next instant, wrapped in blue light, Ethan's figure disappeared from the spot.
Ethan's sudden appearance immediately caused a commotion among the Pokémon of the Diamond Kingdom.
Under Princess Diancie's leadership, several hundred Carbink followed her, forming on their own a kind of military formation. Their gazes turned cautiously toward Ethan, the intruder.
And Ethan also released all his Pokémon at the first instant: Cacturne, Slowking, Melmetal, Flygon, Charizard, Lucario, Tyranitar, Garchomp, and Litwick appeared together.
Immediately, a terrifying energy fluctuation emanated from those Pokémon, directly resisting the pressure of the army formed by the Carbink on the other side.
"Princess Diancie, I have no ill intentions. This time, I came to the Diamond Kingdom only because I want to know the secrets of Mega Evolution."
Ethan spoke to Princess Diancie.
At the same time, his gaze turned toward the Heart Diamond floating in the air inside the cavern.
From the brilliance of that Heart Diamond, it could be seen that its light was already very dim.
This made Ethan unable to help thinking of that Heart Diamond from the movie.
At the beginning of the movie, precisely because the enormous diamond that maintained the existence of the Diamond Kingdom, the Heart Diamond, was about to disappear, Diancie needed to create a new Heart Diamond.
But Diancie's power was insufficient. After receiving the guidance of the members of its clan, it and its servants set out on a journey to search for the Legendary Pokémon Xerneas.
In the end, relying on Xerneas's power, Diancie mastered autonomous Mega Evolution, and only then managed to restore the Heart Diamond to its original state.
And now, this Diamond Kingdom of the real world seemed to be facing the same situation.
In the original world, if it encountered a situation like this again, Princess Diancie would probably search for Xerneas once more to restore the power of the Heart Diamond.
But this was the real world, and in addition, the Diamond Kingdom was located within a fragmented Secret Kingdom. That made it unrealistic for Princess Diancie to search for Xerneas.
Thinking of this, a possibility suddenly occurred to Ethan: would there be any way to help Princess Diancie complete autonomous Mega Evolution through his own research on life energy and Mega Evolution?
Since a Diancie capable of mastering autonomous Mega Evolution had appeared in the Diamond Kingdom, it was impossible that they had not left behind some inheritance related to autonomous Mega Evolution!
"Mega Evolution?"
After understanding Ethan's words, Princess Diancie spoke.
Diancie, as a Fairy and Rock-type Pokémon, did not have weak psychic power either.
At that moment, through its telepathy ability, it began to communicate with Ethan.
"That's right, Mega Evolution."
Ethan nodded and then took a Key Stone from the spatial ring on his hand.
At the same time, Lucario stepped out under his indication.
"Lucario, Mega Evolve!"
Without the slightest hesitation, Lucario directly began Mega Evolution.
Wrapped in white light, Lucario's body changed form and transformed into Mega Lucario.
Immediately, a terrifying energy fluctuation spread, and even in Princess Diancie's eyes, an expression of caution appeared under that pressure.
The current Mega Lucario evidently already possessed strength capable of threatening it!
"It really is Mega Evolution."
Seeing this scene, Princess Diancie murmured to itself.
At the same time, the Carbink around it also began to stir.
To tell the truth, because of the matter of the Heart Diamond, they had already made countless attempts.
But for some reason, they were trapped in this world and could not go outside.
Under those circumstances, they could only search for methods by following the inheritance left behind by the Princess Diancie of past generations.
Among those methods, the easiest to reach was to make Princess Diancie complete Mega Evolution, thereby obtaining greater power to restore the Heart Diamond.
But Mega Evolution was truly too difficult. Even though Princess Diancie had researched it for so long, it still had not managed to obtain that ability.
But now, that human who had suddenly barged in possessed the power of Mega Evolution in his hands.
Then, would there be some way to obtain the method of Mega Evolution from this human?
Thinking of this, the gazes of some Carbink became hostile.
This was an excellent opportunity. If they could capture that human, their Princess Diancie very possibly could master the power of Mega Evolution, and thus restore the Heart Diamond.
Otherwise, the Heart Diamond would surely not be able to hold on, and their Diamond Kingdom would also directly disappear after losing it.
