Chapter 5 - Void Saga

Volume 1: Shadows in the Hub Chapter 1 – The Weight of Victory

The war with Yumema was over. But peace never came.

The halls of Void Community shimmered with constant chatter — names thrown around like weapons, reputations built and broken in real time. Kaiketsu Clan's banner stood tallest, Acalis and his people basking in the fame of their victory. For a moment, they looked untouchable. For a moment, they seemed eternal.

Yet beneath the surface, something festered.

"Do you hear them, Acalis?"SaVv's voice was low, his eyes scanning the flowing chat, the whispers in corners."They cheer for us today… but they're sharpening knives for tomorrow."

Acalis leaned back, unreadable as ever. His sharp gaze flicked from message to message, from name to name. Praise mixed with spite, admiration with venom. He could see the envy rising — the hungry eyes of those who couldn't stand to watch Kaiketsu shine.

And in that poison, a new name took root. Void.

They weren't a clan in the traditional sense. They weren't bound by loyalty or ambition. They were fragments — broken players, aimless and bitter, drawn together by a single thing: emptiness. Where others sought power, they sought only to corrupt.

To consume.

The spark that lit the fire came suddenly.

In the middle of Void's hub, a duel was called :Acalis vs Meek.

The entire community gathered — a spectacle too loud to ignore. Meek stepped forward with his usual arrogance, eyes hollow but lips curling with mockery.

"Kaiketsu's golden boy. The so-called psycho genius. Let's see what's left of you once I strip away the myth."

Acalis smirked faintly, but his eyes were cold.

"You'll regret saying that in front of everyone."

The fight began with a crack — sparks of speed and precision that made the crowd erupt. But quickly it shifted. This wasn't just a battle of blows; it was a battle of words, of whispers that cut deeper than blades.

Meek didn't just fight — he taunted. He whispered Liz's name again and again, dragging her ghost into every exchange.

"You couldn't save her, could you? What's the point of strength when the people you love slip through your fingers?"

Acalis's composure cracked. His movements sharpened but lost their polish — the telltale signs of the psycho state bleeding in. His aura turned volatile, his strikes heavier but less precise. The crowd murmured. Some laughed. Others watched with unease.

From the sidelines, SaVv shouted, voice booming across the arena.

"Acalis! Remember who you are! You're not void — you're Kaiketsu!"

The words pierced through the haze. Acalis blinked, breath ragged, before tightening his stance. His movements shifted — no longer wild, but razor-focused. He chained feints, forced Meek into a corner, and unleashed a devastating final strike.

Meek collapsed, the arena erupting in gasps and silence.

Acalis stood tall, and spoke through clenched teeth:

"I may be broken… but I'll never be empty."

But in the shadows, hatred took root.

That night, Meek vanished into obscurity, humiliated. And Kaiketsu's name, once shining, began to taste bitter in the mouths of Void's people.

Meek falls. Acalis stands victorious — but his expression is grim. Victory feels hollow.

Some called them tyrants. Others whispered that Kaiketsu was the real corruption.

And watching from the distance, Blood Michael smirked. His pale fingers drummed against the armrest of his throne. Beside him stood Urban Chabku — eyes conflicted, but silent.

"You see?" Michael's voice oozed venom."They'll never accept you, Urban. You'll always be their laughingstock… unless you burn the Kaiketsu banner yourself."

Urban swallowed hard, eyes flickering with pain. The memory of Ana's rejection stabbed through him, sharp and merciless. Laughter, jeers, the sting of being unwanted — all of it clung to him like chains.

In that moment, a piece of him cracked.

And Void's storm began to gather.

Volume 1: Shadows in the Hub Chapter 1.5 – The Forgotten Brother

Before Void. Before Michael. Before the whispers.

Urban had laughed with them.

Late nights in Kaiketsu's Discord were filled with chaos — Berlin cracking dry jokes, SaVv dropping one-liners that turned arguments into roars of laughter, and Acalis sitting in silence until he suddenly cut in with the sharpest, most unexpected punchline.

And Urban?Urban was always there. The awkward one. The butt of jokes. But also the one who filled silences with ridiculous stories, who fought alongside them without hesitation, who called Kaiketsu home.

Scene – Acalis and Urban sparring.

Clash, break, reset. Again.

Urban lunged with sloppy aggression, sweat dripping down his brow. Acalis countered effortlessly, slipping past every strike, yet his tone was patient, almost brotherly.

Acalis: "Too wild. Think before you swing. Your anger's the easiest thing to read."Urban (panting): "Easy for you to say… you're a machine."Acalis:smirks "No. I just know what it's like to fight with nothing but anger. It burns out quick."

There was a pause. Urban caught his breath, staring at Acalis — the clan's golden figure, the psycho genius. And for a flicker of a moment, he thought maybe… maybe he could reach that level one day.

Scene – Trio Moment (Acalis, SaVv, Urban).

The three sat in call, voices overlapping. SaVv teased Urban about his failed pickup attempts, dragging out Ana's name just to hear him groan. Acalis chuckled quietly, even breaking his usual deadpan.

SaVv: "Come on, man, you really said 'so uh… you like PvP?' That's your opener?"Urban: "Shut up! At least I tried—"Acalis (cutting in, deadpan): "You should've just asked her to 1v1. At least then losing would feel normal to you."

For a split second, silence. Then all three burst into uncontrollable laughter. Even Urban, red-faced and humiliated, couldn't stop himself from joining in.

Moments like that felt like family.

But cracks showed even then.

When wars ended, and the voice chats fell quiet, Urban sat staring at his screen. Watching Acalis and SaVv — always in the spotlight, always admired. While his name was either forgotten… or ridiculed.

He wanted to be part of Kaiketsu's core. To be someone who mattered. But the whispers of Void's community cut deeper than any blade.

"Urban? He's just the weird kid.""Kaiketsu's charity case.""Ana rejected him, right? No wonder."

Laughter, echoing, even when he logged off.

And that was when Blood Michael found him.

Michael didn't offer power. He offered recognition.

Blood Michael: "You don't have to be their shadow, Urban. With me, you can be seen. You can be feared. You can matter."

Urban hesitated. His mind replayed Acalis's smirk, SaVv's teasing, Berlin's jokes. His brothers. His family.

But in his chest… the words of the community hurt more. The word "loser" echoed louder than the word "comrade."

And so he stepped away from Kaiketsu's warmth… and into Void's cold.

Volume 2: The Shattered Bond Chapter 6 – A Brother's Fall

It wasn't news.It was a knife.

When word reached Kaiketsu that Urban had defected to Void, the clan went quiet. Not the silence of strategy. Not the silence of preparation. But the silence of disbelief.

Scene – Acalis in Call.

Acalis sat uncharacteristically still, hands hovering over his keyboard. The others spoke — Berlin cursed, izuari demanded proof, SaVv cracked jokes to mask the tension.

But Acalis didn't say a word.

His mind replayed flashes.Urban swinging too wide during sparring. His own voice correcting him.SaVv teasing Urban until they all choked on laughter.

Now, that brotherhood was gone.

Acalis (flat, low): "Urban chose Void. He's no longer Kaiketsu."

But even as he said it, the words tasted like ash.

Scene – SaVv confronts Acalis privately.

SaVv's voice was sharp, but not at Acalis. It cracked with emotion.

SaVv: "He ditched us, oh well Couldn't really care less."Acalis: "How could you say that, he was one of us, but he did do some weird shit."SaVv: "He made his choice. We failed him. You think he woke up one day and decided to betray us? He was dying for recognition and i… i laughed. he went in the shadows."

Acalis didn't respond.

'time goes by urban gets stronger from blood clan'

'blood and urban reek havic in void and across the community'

'urban seeks out kaiketsu and wants to war'

Chapter 6 – Shadows of Resentment

Battlefield, dusk. Smoke rising. SaVv steps into the broken courtyard where Urban waits, his eyes sickly with Void energy. Blood Michael lingers in the shadows, smirking.

Urban: "You finally came… the shadow of Acalis."SaVv:narrowing his eyes "What?"Urban: "That's all you are! The sidekick. Never the leader. Always second best."

Urban lunges, wild and reckless. His blows crash like thunder, but sloppy, unrefined. SaVv parries with calm precision, each dodge measured, each counter deliberate.

SaVv (thinking):He's stronger… but broken. This isn't the Urban I knew.

SaVv (out loud): "What the fuck is wrong with you?!"

Urban: "Shut up Bitch You don't understand! Everyone sees me THAT way.... Nobody ever saw me as more than a loser!"

The clash peaks — SaVv catches Urban's wrist, twisting him down into the ground, pinning him. His blade hovers at Urban's throat.

SaVv: "Stupid piece of shit"

Before the moment can resolve, BOOM! Blood Michael and his clan explode into the fight, knocking SaVv off with brutal precision.

Blood Michael: "Playtime's over, boy."

Berlin bursts from the shadows, intercepting Michael with a devastating kick. Izuari launches himself at Michael's clan, steel against steel.

Berlin: "Kaiketsu won't fall here."

Amid the chaos, Urban stumbles back, clutching his head, his expression breaking. While everyone else fights, he flees into the smoke, shaking and muttering.

Chapter 7 – Brothers Face Each Other

Scene: A ruined street. The battle rages behind them, but here it is quiet. Moonlight cuts through smoke. Zealous rushes through the wreckage, calling out.

Zealous (monologue): "We promised to watch each other's backs. We promised we'd make it together. Where are you, Urban…?"

He finds him: Urban, leaning against rubble, whispering to himself.

Urban: "Loser… loser… loser…"

Their eyes meet. Silence.

Zealous: "Urban! Let's go. This war isn't us."Urban:cold, trembling "Us? …There's no 'us' anymore."

The fight erupts. Zealous defends, blocking, refusing to strike back. Urban attacks with everything — savage, desperate, swinging as though his life depends on it.

Zealous (thinking):Why is he fighting me? What did Blood Michael do to him?!Urban (thinking):If I don't kill him… I'll always be a loser.

Flashback overlays the strikes: Urban as a kid, mocked. Then Zealous offering him food when they were broke. "We'll survive. Always together."

Urban hesitates, his strike wavering. He clutches his head and screams into the night.

End panel text: "The bond cracks. But will it shatter?"

Chapter 8 – The Hollow Friend

Urban drops his weapon, sobbing. Zealous steps forward and pulls him into an embrace.

Zealous: "It's over. You don't have to fight anymore. Just come home with me."Urban (through tears): "Home? …I don't even know what that means anymore."

He confesses everything — how he always felt worthless, how Blood Michael promised him he could be more, how he betrayed himself even more than he betrayed Zealous.

Zealous: "You're not worthless. You're my brother. You always were enough."

Urban looks at him, tears streaming, a faint smile breaking through the cracks.

Urban: "Then… promise me… you won't end up like me."

Before Zealous can react — shhk! Urban drives his blade into his own side. Blood pours.

Zealous (screaming): "URBAAAN!!"

He catches him, holding him as his life drains away.

Urban (fading): "Thank you… for seeing me…"

His hand slips free. His eyes go still.

Full-page spread: Zealous kneeling in the ruins, cradling Urban's lifeless body, screaming into the night.

From a distance, Acalis watches silently, his shadow stretched long.

Acalis (whispering): "…This is what happens when the Void wins."

The Hollow Friend — Complete. The scars will never fade.

Chapter 9 – Blood Against Loyalty

Setting: The ruins of Void's capital square. Fires crackle. SaVv lies injured from Blood Michael's intervention. Urban has fled, leaving tension in the air. Now Berlin steps forward.

Berlin (stepping into the battlefield):"SaVv, fall back. This isn't your fight anymore."

Blood Michael smirks, his aura sharp and suffocating.Blood Michael:"Another dog of Kaiketsu? Loyalty won't save you from corruption."

The fight erupts.

Michael fights dirty: hacks, underhanded tactics, exploiting the system, bending rules of combat.

Berlin tanks blow after blow, barely flinching, every strike thunderous but steady.

Michael (mocking):"The world's rigged. No matter how strong you are, corruption will always win."

Berlin (gritting his teeth, eyes blazing):"My loyalty can't be hacked. My will can't be corrupted."

The fight escalates to a brutal slugfest — Berlin's raw endurance against Michael's schemes. Finally, with a roar, Berlin smashes Michael into the ground in front of everyone.

Closing Panel:Berlin stands bloodied but unbroken. The crowd of Void members watching silently realize — Kaiketsu is unshakable.

Aftermath chapter.

The war is over. Void is in ruins. Blood Michael lies defeated, his clan broken. Meek is gone.

But there's no celebration.

Zealous sits in the shadows, clutching the memory of Urban's death, silent tears on his face.

SaVv, still bandaged, stares into the flames, more detached than ever.

Berlin drinks water quietly, blood still drying on his fists.

Izuari walks through the corpses, eyes empty, as if it was just another day.

Acalis stands on the highest ruin, looking down at his clan.He whispers to himself:"If I stop fighting… if I give in… I'll become Void too. Kaiketsu is the solution. It has to be."

Closing Panel (double spread):The entire Kaiketsu Clan, battered but standing, silhouetted against a burning horizon. No smiles. No cheers. Only scars.

Chapter 13 – The Stench of Corruption

The battlefield is over. Void's streets are drowned in smoke and silence. Kaiketsu stands victorious… but the victory feels like sand slipping through their hands.

Word spreads quickly. Despite Berlin humiliating Blood Michael in front of all, the higher powers in Void's structure — corrupted elites, council leaders, and "sponsors" — step forward.

Void Councilman (smirking in assembly):"Blood Michael may have lost on the field, but he is indispensable to the balance of Void. His reinstatement is non-negotiable."

Berlin (furious, fists shaking):"You're keeping the cancer alive after we ripped it out?! He's the reason your people are in ashes!"

Councilman:"That is not your concern, Kaiketsu dog. You win battles, we maintain order."

The announcement echoes across Void. Blood Michael is reinstated, his defeat treated like it never happened.

Scene shift:Berlin storms out, smashing his fist against the wall.Berlin (to himself):"Even when you win… the system makes sure you lose."

Chapter 14 – Cracks in Kaiketsu

Kaiketsu regroups in a shattered inn at the edge of the city. Everyone is battered, emotionally raw.

Zealous sits apart, head lowered, refusing food. His silence is heavier than any words.

SaVv leans against the wall, bandaged, his eyes cold, replaying Urban's fight in his head.

Izuari sharpens his blade silently, every scrape of steel echoing in the room.

Berlin drinks in anger, the weight of corruption gnawing at him.

Acalis finally enters, cloak tattered, expression unreadable.

Acalis (quietly):"We won the war. But Void is still rotten. That means we didn't solve anything."

SaVv (bitterly, without looking at him):"You can't fix rot. You can only cut it out."

Tension lingers. Nobody dares to break it.

Chapter 15 – The Yami Dilemma

Word of Void's instability spreads across other worlds. From the shadows, Yami, the enigmatic power broker, steps into the narrative.

He moves through the smoldering ruins, speaking with both Kaiketsu survivors and Void's corrupted council.

His words are layered, manipulative.

He speaks of "balance" and "interworld order," but everyone feels his shadow stretching further than it should.

Kamary (Void elder, in council):"Yami promises stability. He says Void will thrive under his watch."

Berlin (to Acalis):"And when's the last time a vulture saved the body it was feeding on?"

The Kaiketsu begin to see the bigger threat: not just Void, but the way worlds are controlled by strings from above.

Chapter 16 – Heavy is the Solution

Final aftermath chapter.

Acalis stands alone at night, atop the fractured ruins of the coliseum where he defeated Meek. Moonlight paints his figure in silver.

Inner narration (Acalis):"I fought, I won, but the void didn't die. It just moved into shadows… deeper than ever."

He closes his eyes, hearing echoes of Urban's breakdown, Meek's taunts, and Liz's name whispered by ghosts. His psycho side scratches at his sanity.

Flash of memory: SaVv shouting at him, Berlin standing unbroken, Zealous crying over Urban.Kaiketsu — broken but still standing.

Acalis (whispering to himself):"Kaiketsu is the solution… even if the solution breaks me."

Closing Panel (double spread):Kaiketsu members silhouetted together against a fractured skyline. Broken, scarred, but alive. The horizon glows with unnatural light — signaling that another world is already watching.

"Void Saga — Complete. The system bleeds corruption. The Interworld looms."
