Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Curtain call

It was the day... I finally got surgery for my brain tumor that has been plaguing me ever since I was little and could walk and talk. I lay in the hospital bed, awaiting my time to see if I was going to live or die in this miserable place that is a hospital. There was a nurse there to keep me company while I waited, and we were conversing as I joked sarcastically about me respanwing in the Naruto world if I died during the surgery.

Ishi: " You know if I end up dying in the surgery, I could just respawn in one of my favorite anime," I joked.

Nurse: Laughs" Well then, let's hope u don't end up dying, yes."

Ishi: " Right, let's hope..."

Soon, I was guided out of my sitting room and guided into the operating room for my surgery.

Ishi: "This was it," I thought, hoping I would not die on the end of this operating table.

As I was led into the operating room, I looked at my surroundings and at the various tools that would be put to work on my body.

I was then helped onto the operating table courtesy of my nurse. Soon, multiple surgeons and doctors were led into the room to begin my surgery.

As I watched, they soon approached me, and they began to sedate me with a combination of medications like Propofol, Etomidate, Fentanyl, and Lidocaine, to name some.

As I was beginning to pass out, they began operating on my body. I woke up in a blank space where there was only one being in it, [And I meant being, not person]. It was not human; it was a bunch of swirls put together with random shapes, it looked weirdly animorphic.

Ishi: "So I ended up kicking the bucket on that damn operating table, huh?"

R.O.B: "Yes, you did, and it was not a very pretty sight indeed."

Ishi: "So I end up getting the Deluxe Reincarnation package."

R.O.B: "Not Deluxe, Experimental."

Then there was a blinding light that severely hurt my eyes. Soon, I passed out again, but not before the R.O.B. final words, "See what the gods blinded, Blind what the gods made you to see."

As the boy disappeared, the R.O.B. looked to the side, asking, " Was that truly necessary?" Soon, a ripple in space occurred, blurring it for but a moment. "It was not, but I truly want to see where this one goes in his journey, unlike the other failures." As a beautiful woman stepped out of the ripple/distortion in space, she had black as night hair, pale skin, lush lips with black lipstick, and a body only a god could have. She answered the R.O.B.

As the R.O.B. just stared with an unreadable look, it started to fade into the background, leaving behind words of warning, "Do not let this mistake come back to bite you in the posterior. " As it finally faded out of the scene.

The women just stood there, still staring at the spot the boy's soul had been transported out of. Then she spoke, "I won't," then she left in the same rippling space she came.

As a child wakes from their slumber with a startle, he looks around to check where he was, but he could not see anything but trees and more trees, but then he finally starts to remember what happened. But there was a problem; he wondered how he could see when he had something on his face covering his eyes, and as he wondered, he heard a noise that startled him. He stood up as quickly as he could, trying not to make any noise to alert anything in the areas he was in.

He hid behind a tree, trying and failing not to be discovered as a team of ninja came through the area on patrol, but they instantly noticed him trying to hide. They also wondered why there was a child in the wilderness, far from any village or shelter. They stopped to check if there was any danger in the area the "girl" was in. Then one of them stepped out a little, telling the boy to come out of hiding. "Girl, come out of hiding. "There will be no harm to you." He said.

The "girl" stood behind the tree for a second longer, making the air awkward, but soon the girl stepped out from the tree, and as she did, the ninjas breathed out the tension from their shoulders, not noticing any hostility from the child or the surroundings.

They looked at each other, then a woman from the group of patrol ninja stepped forward, asking, "What are u doing out in the wilderness and where are your parents?"

But the silence persisted.
