"Pathetic."
A lone boy stood amongst a group of kids in the same age range. It was evident that amongst everyone, he was singled out. Unlike the other kids, this young boy oozed an aura of royalty like no other. His skin was fair and pale in complexion, giving off a subtle glow when touched with sunlight. His eyes shun with otherworldly brilliance, colored in sky blue with his pupil's being replaced with a miniscule galaxy slowly twisting in a spiral.
His hair was as white, as the snow that covered the ground during winter. Though slightly unkept, his hair was soft and reached down to his mid-neck. His same-colored eyelashes were elegantly long and well-kept and subtle mischievous settled on his face.
[Congratulations! You have been selected by the god system as its first wielder. The Alpha of Creation.]
[Task: survive against The Omega. Iruna Buro]
"Nanaki Luko. Please report to the office"
An announcement sounded through the speakers of the academy. This made the boy in question perk his head up at the mention of his name. The boy that stood alone amongst even the greatest potential of kids, was Nanaki Luko, the first and last user of the alpha system.
He held the power of literal creation in the palm of his hands. He knew of the beginning, he knew of the present, and he knew of the end. Though each beginning, present, and end, were jumbled in quantum probabilities.
30 minutes later...
After a quick chat with the headmaster of the academy about his new awakening, Nanaki left the office and decided to find Iruna and observe him. This led to Nanaki now silently watching Iruna interact with one of the academy goddesses during outside gym.
'He has this certain presence. Like he's hiding something dark...Ah I see. He's likely killed someone and from that he's unlocked the ability to manifest nether in spells. That's a rather unique way of gathering non-system skills.'
Nanaki exclaimed within his mind, his gaze staring intently at Iruna who suddenly glanced his way for a few seconds, locking eyes with Nananki and just from that moment of eye contact alone. A silent rivalry was established.
The Present (The Academy)
"I want to have a mock battle with him. Temporarily suspend his bounty and bring him here."
A now older Nanaki exclaimed in a low, cold tone that held a subtle interest in the topic. The individual who Nanaki tasked this to, could only nod his head in acceptance in fear of being locked into some prison outside of reality.
Meanwhile...
A young Iruna had been sitting alone at a public playground, subtly swinging back & forth on the swing set. After an unassured amount of time, Iruna noticed two individuals walking towards him. One was a male dressed in butler attire and the other was a female dressed in maid attire.
"Hello Iruna Buro. We have come on behalf of Nanaki Luko who has challenged you to a mock battle. Are you willing to accept his highness request?"
The butler proclaimed in stoic tone though it was respectful in a sense. This made the young Iruna ponder on the situation he now found himself in.
Ever since Iruna could remember, trouble would always make its way to him no matter what. These series of unfortunate events are directly linked to his luck. Everyone is born with a specific amount of luck, which is miracles gathered from across the current timeline. Only those with God systems manifest a miracle passively when in absolute danger.
The difference between Iruna's luck and the other's luck, is that he is a walking apocalypse. This luck is titled as Jinx, a curse given to those predetermined to become the end of existence. This curse is what gives away the presence of a chaos user. Anything and everything that can go wrong around him, does go wrong. This the Murphy's law.
30 minutes later...
"Alright everyone! we have a once in a lifetime legendary mock battle between two potential deities. Place your bets now."
An announcement exclaimed through a giant speaker, earning the crowd to begin placing their bets. It was clear as day that everyone had bet on Nanaki, but one person had bet on a tie. thirty-two thousand DUC.
"Begin!"
The announcement proclaimed and silence followed next. Everyone waited for one of them to make the first move, yet they both remained stationary.
"So, you're the one I'm supposed to be wary of?"
Nanaki asked with a slight head tilt, a subtle hint of sarcasm and disappointment. Iruna on the other hand was unphased by this comment and prepared to go on the offense.
In moments, crimson mystical symbols began floating around both Iruna's wrist in a slow rotating manner. These symbols were layered with circles and ancient spelling.
"Ah. So, it hasn't awakened yet. Do you think chaos magic could really do something to me?"
Nanaki asked and in the next few moments, Iruna had dashed forward at an impressive speed. Unfortunately for Iruna, Nanaki was already prepared for a counterattack, watching as Iruna hand slowly reached out towards Nanaki's face.
"I Do"
Iruna exclaimed in a firm tone but to his surprise, there was an invisible force preventing Iruna from touching Nanaki. Crimson mist slowly began to exude from the mystical circles around Iruna's wrist though before anything could happen, the invisible force slammed against Iruna with enough force to send him through a nearby building.
Nanaki simply stood in one place with a smile of reassured confidence. His unique sky-blue eyes paired with small spiraling galaxies as pupils looked on with amused arrogance. The crowd murmured in shock and disappointment at the display of the chaotic user.
"It's clear that I will always be the strongest. Now, whoever set this farce up will die."
Nanaki proclaimed in a cold tone which earned the silence of the crowd. Meanwhile, Iruna had pushed the bigger pieces of debris off him and stood up, dusting the remaining dust and debris that was on his body.
"That was unexpected. He's strong no doubt but I hate people like him, so I'll show them just what I can do."
Iruna exclaimed aloud within the abandoned home that was destroyed from the sheer impact. With a slight glance towards the unharmed civilians who stared in fear and awe, Iruna turned his sights back towards Nanaki.
Chaos Magic - Art of Destruction
With a gentle flick of his wrist in a forward motion, Iruna tucked his middle fingers on top of his thumb and launched it forward. The world seemed to halt like a breath, anticipating for something to happen.
Then a subtle whistle struck the air, a glimmer of light catching Nanaki's sight before a flash of heat flushed across the area between the two of them. Immediately, it was eviscerated and set ablaze then turned to ash.
In moments, Nanaki found himself staring at a sharp point that exuded heat beyond human measure. Luckily for Nanaki, he wasn't human and so began the counterattack.
"Okay, I've seen enough."
Nanaki proclaimed and with a mocking yawn the back of his right hand swung forward and made contact with the projectile of destruction. Then to the shock of everyone, the beam of destruction was smacked away with ease. It's sheer power splitting the skies and revealing a portion of the vast outer space.
"We'll meet again.... maybe I'll acknowledge you then"
Nanaki proclaimed in a dismissive tone, turning his back and walking away to leave Iruna in his thoughts.
