Chapter 119 - Chapter 119: Self-Destruction

-Broadcast-

The devastating display of power from Diamante made one thing crystal clear—among the Donquixote Family's executives, the differences in strength were astronomical. Compared to this monster, fighters like Machvise and Gladius were nothing more than foot soldiers. Tonight had driven home the true meaning of Doflamingo's "top four executives."

Only one of the Diamond, Club, Spade, and Heart suits had appeared, yet the lineup already felt overwhelmingly complete. A newly minted Shichibukai had been reduced to little more than a stepping stone.

If all four of Doflamingo's top executives possessed the strength to defeat Shichibukai-level opponents, then the Donquixote Family commanded firepower equivalent to five Warlords of the Sea. Such a terrifying configuration approached the combat potential of a Yonko crew—a half-Emperor force operating in the shadows.

The scene of Diamante's one-sided domination continued unabated. Trafalgar Law clutched the spurting stump of his severed arm, his agonized screams echoing through the ruined arena.

"Tsk, tsk. Pathetic, Law," Diamante observed with theatrical pity. "You should thank whatever gods you worship for that Ope Ope no Mi in your body. Without it, that would have been your head rolling across the floor instead of your arm. Now come quietly—the young master is waiting."

The clown swordsman's painted smile widened as he offered Law one final chance at surrender. If the stubborn Shichibukai continued to resist, Diamante wouldn't hesitate to reduce him to a limbless torso before dragging him to Doflamingo.

"You taught me swordsmanship once," Law gasped through gritted teeth, forcing himself upright despite the blood loss. "Unfortunately, I never had much talent for the blade. This Devil Fruit is my only advantage. Room!"

The translucent surgical sphere expanded once again, engulfing the battlefield in its ethereal glow. Law understood with grim clarity that this was his final gambit. If he hesitated any longer, Diamante would slaughter everyone on the field, leaving Bepo and Lami with zero chance of survival.

Within his Room, Law had already confirmed his spatial manipulation couldn't affect Diamante directly—likely due to the vast gap in their Armament Haki. Traditional long-range tactics had failed completely. If he couldn't win at a distance, then close combat was his only remaining option.

Law's severed hand, still gripping Kikoku, flew toward Diamante from the front while Law himself vanished from sight. The pincer attack would force the executive to divide his attention between two threats.

"Getting close to me isn't wise, Law," Diamante noted casually, sensing the spatial displacement behind him without apparent concern.

"You talk too much. Counter Shock!"

Twin electrical currents erupted from Law's remaining thumb, one from his severed hand and another from his current position. The high-voltage assault should have rendered any normal opponent unconscious instantly—the weak would be electrocuted outright.

The crackling energy blackened Diamante's skin, but the executive remained standing. Law pressed his advantage, condensing gamma radiation in his palm as he closed the distance.

"Gamma Knife!"

The concentrated beam of deadly radiation formed a blade of pure green energy, capable of destroying internal organs without leaving external wounds. This technique represented Law's most lethal close-range attack.

"Have you had enough of this farce, Law?" Diamante's voice carried no trace of pain despite the electrical burns covering his body. He eyed the approaching gamma blade with genuine wariness—that technique could actually prove dangerous.

Hebi no Ken was no ordinary blade. Even without Devil Fruit enhancement, the sword's serpentine flexibility made it a nightmare to face in close combat. With Diamante's mastery and the Hira Hira no Mi amplifying its properties, the weapon became truly supernatural.

The sword's head transformed into a striking serpent, piercing straight through Trafalgar Law's abdomen before his Gamma Knife could connect. The impact sent shockwaves through Law's nervous system as Diamante's fruit power activated.

Law's body began to flatten and flutter like fabric in the wind, his three-dimensional form reduced to something resembling a living banner. The transformation was both physically and psychologically devastating.

"What's happening to me?" Law struggled against the bizarre metamorphosis, but his Armament Haki couldn't overcome the foreign power coursing through his system. As a "fluttering-man," he couldn't access his abilities or even maintain proper motor control.

"Don't waste your energy," Diamante explained with sadistic glee. "As long as Hebi no Ken remains in your body, the Hira Hira no Mi's power will continue affecting you. You look absolutely ridiculous flapping around like that."

Diamante's moment of triumph was interrupted by a blur of white fury launching itself at his position. He barely managed to raise Hebi no Ken defensively as massive claws raked toward his chest. The raw power behind the attack—comparable to Zoan awakening—nearly broke through his guard entirely.

A wild beast with electrified white fur snatched the fluttering Law from midair. This was Bepo in his Sulong transformation.

"Thank you, Bepo," Law wheezed, his voice distorted by his unnatural state. "Get Lami and run. I can't use my abilities like this, and I'm losing too much blood."

The bisected Franky robot hadn't given up yet. Half of his mechanical head lay near the Silver Daughter while his remaining components struggled to assemble into something functional.

"A member of the Mink Tribe," Diamante mused, his painted features twisting with renewed interest. "Since your captain seems so fond of you, why don't you die first? Trafalgar Law can join you shortly after."

Hebi no Ken extended like a striking viper, its blade-head racing toward Bepo's exposed back with lethal intent.

Law managed to teleport Bepo to Lami's side, but the serpentine sword continued its relentless pursuit, extending impossibly far through his spatial manipulation.

The Shichibukai's face had gone corpse-pale from blood loss. He understood his abilities were nearly exhausted—this was the moment for a final desperate gambit.

"Franky," Law called out weakly. "If you're here, then Luffy must be somewhere on Dressrosa too. Take Bepo and Lami away from here. The Ope Ope no Mi makes me too valuable for Diamante to kill outright."

Bepo growled his refusal to abandon his captain, but Franky's remaining mechanical head delivered a sharp impact to the Mink's skull. Sometimes retreat was the only viable strategy. Law himself faced no immediate death threat, but the others would become additional hostages if they remained.

The cyborg's mechanical voice crackled through damaged speakers as he bit down on Bepo's white fur. "I'll guide you back to the Sunny. Get Lami to our ship where she'll be safe, then return for Law."

Law activated his Room one final time, pouring his remaining strength into sending Bepo and Lami to safety. "Go! Don't worry about me—listen to Franky!"

He recalled Kikoku to intercept Hebi no Ken's pursuit, buying precious seconds for the escape. Every moment of delay brought him closer to complete physical collapse.

"Brother..."

The single word cut through the chaos like a blade through Law's heart. Lami, cradled in Bepo's protective embrace, had finally recognized the man who saved her. Silver tears traced down her metallic cheeks as suppressed memories fought their way to the surface.

That moment of recognition gave Law strength he didn't know he possessed. Despite his fluttering, flag-like state, he spat blood and hurled every piece of debris in the area toward Diamante—stone blocks, steel beams, and Franky's remaining mechanical components.

"How touching—a brother and sister reunion," Diamante sneered, casually destroying the incoming projectiles with elegant sword work. "Why aren't you crying, Law? This cat-and-mouse game could continue for hours."

"Trash... let's die together."

Franky's remaining body contained one final surprise. As the mechanical components closed the distance to Diamante, hidden explosives activated with nuclear-level intensity. The executive had no time to react as pure destruction erupted around him.

The detonation shattered the night like the wrath of an angry god. The shock wave instantly flattened Dressrosa's entire entertainment district, erasing all traces of the battle in a ball of consuming fire. When the light faded and the dust settled, both Trafalgar Law and Diamante had vanished without a trace.

Far away at Dressrosa's port, the Thousand Sunny's automated systems detected approaching signals. Docking procedures initiated as the ship prepared to receive survivors of the night's catastrophe.
