"That's not necessarily true," Yuxi Bo said calmly.
Although maintaining his space-time technique consumed chakra, he possessed Hashirama's cells — granting him abnormal vitality and recovery, just as shown in the manga when he survived fatal injuries and repeatedly used Kamui in battle. As long as Chen Xing's chakra depleted first, victory would be his.
Unfortunately for him, he had overlooked one detail.
Chen Xing's chakra was equally vast — and perfectly integrated. Even Uchiha Madara had never fully harmonized external power and ocular ability the way Chen Xing had. In a battle of attrition, the outcome was not so certain.
"Then let's test it," Chen Xing replied coldly.
His hands formed seals.
"Peacock Form!"
A surge of dense purple chakra erupted outward. The Celestial chakra condensed into a massive spectral avatar — a peacock formed entirely of chakra, nearly twenty meters tall. Its crown flared like a fan of blades, its crimson eyes glowed sharply, and its wings spread wide across the sky.
The pressure in the forest shifted instantly.
Yuxi Bo narrowed his eye. "A chakra construct on this scale… comparable to Susanoo's early stages."
The peacock screeched. Its wings beat once, generating a violent gust that tore through the trees.
In the next instant, it lunged.
Its elongated chakra-beak pierced forward with immense force — but as expected, it passed directly through Yuxi Bo's body. Kamui rendered him intangible.
The ground behind him exploded from the impact.
"You're wasting chakra," Yuxi Bo said evenly. "Maintaining something this dense will drain you quickly. My intangibility lasts long enough."
Chen Xing hovered within the Celestial Peacock's core, his Sharingan locked onto his opponent.
"Your Kamui isn't limitless," he said calmly. "Five minutes. That's your continuous intangibility limit."
Yuxi Bo's eye flickered slightly.
He knew the number was accurate.

Secret Technique: Wan Yu Kill
The Celestial Peacock ascended higher into the air. Its wings folded inward briefly — then flared open completely, forming a radiant fan of sharpened chakra feathers.
"Secret Technique: Wan Yu Kill."
Thousands of violet chakra feathers condensed simultaneously.
Then they fell.
Like a storm.
The sky darkened as countless chakra projectiles rained downward in continuous waves. Each feather struck with explosive force, carving craters into the earth. Trees were shredded instantly. The forest floor collapsed under the barrage.
Yuxi Bo activated Kamui fully.
The feathers passed through him — but they did not stop.
They continued without pause.
The bombardment did not slow.
One minute passed.
Then two.
The barrage remained uninterrupted — not a single opening between waves.
Yuxi Bo's expression grew tense beneath the mask.
If he released intangibility for even a fraction of a second, he would be torn apart. But Kamui could not be sustained indefinitely.
Three minutes.
Four minutes.
Sweat formed beneath his mask.
Chen Xing, though breathing heavier, maintained the technique. His chakra reserves were vast, and he had calculated this precisely. The attack was not meant to strike — it was meant to trap.
Four minutes, thirty seconds.
The forest was unrecognizable.
Four minutes, fifty seconds.
Yuxi Bo's vision narrowed. He realized he had underestimated Chen Xing's stamina — and the density of the attack. There were no gaps in the assault.
"Damn it…"
He had no choice.
Just before the five-minute threshold, the Mangekyō in his right eye spun violently.
He prepared to shift his body fully into Kamui's dimension.
But in that fleeting moment —
More than a dozen chakra feathers adjusted trajectory mid-descent.
They struck simultaneously.
Blood splashed into the smoke-filled air.
---
The Celestial Peacock hovered above the ruined forest, wings still glowing faintly.
Chen Xing exhaled slowly.
He had not defeated Yuxi Bo.
But he had forced him to retreat.
And that alone proved something important:
Kamui was not invincible.
