The sound of hurried footsteps echoed in the quiet hallway. Aoi Takahashi rounded the corner, clutching her school bag to her chest. She had slipped out of gym class again, and the teacher's voice was still faintly calling her name down the corridor.
"Aoi! Come back here!" said the Gym Teacher.
She then spots a door slightly open, without thinking she opens it and slips inside and closes the door behind her. The smell of paint and newly opened brush fills the room. There she sees Haruki Fujimoto, a quiet boy about 178 cm tall, lean, with slightly wavy black hair.
Aoi speaks, her voice calm and silent, "Are you Haruki from our Class 3-b?".
Haruki responds, "Yes i am Haruki from class 3-b, who were you again?".
Aoi Speaks "My name is Aoi Takahasi." she stops for a moment and then continues "I am sorry for disrupting your painting, the teacher is after me"
Haruki nods silently and goes back to painting his masterpiece, Aoi looks at his drawing and speaks "You draw well, what are you painting anyways". Haruki speaks "I am painting 'The Great wave off Kanagawa' .
Aoi then leaves the room quietly, Haruki stares into the door for a bit and then looks back at his painting. He tried to continue painting but he can't... He can't stop thinking about her.
Haruki then takes up a new canvas and paints his own creation "Aoi" he tries to remember back Aoi's face and then makes a painting of her face with background being A Sakura tree.
Haruki finishes the painting in late afternoon then he packs up the canvas and his artistic tools and leaves for his house.
