Below the cliff was a raging, ever-flowing river.
As the cliff collapsed, the massive Demon Hulk, in its descent, stared angrily at Hawk, who stood on the edge of the cliff.
Their eyes met.
Hawk, his chest heaving as he rapidly recovered his strength, smiled and waved goodbye to Hulk as he plummeted down the cliff.
"Goodbye!"
"Hulk!!"
"Boom!"
The enraged Demon Hulk roared and plunged headfirst into the river, instantly engulfing him.
Hawk sensed the Demon Hulk's presence being carried away by the river, and withdrew his gaze, letting out a sigh of relief.
Vibranium was the priority; he could find the Demon Hulk after obtaining it and donning the Saint Cloth.
Hawk thought to himself.
The next second.
He stood on the edge of the cliff, looked up, and his gaze encompassed the true Wakanda within his sight.
There it was!
An omnipresent golden glow instantly filled his vision.
This wasn't lamplight, but the soft yet profound energy emanating from the natural vibranium veins buried deep underground and exposed on the surface.
They were like the earth's veins, winding through massive rock walls, deep canyons mountains and rivers.
Lush green vegetation and rolling hills.
And in the distance, a high-tech city complex.
And equally high-tech fighter jets were rapidly taking off from the magnificent golden plaza within the city, closing in.
Hawke withdrew his gaze from the rapidly approaching jets, quickly scanning his surroundings, then pinpointing the towering golden mountain in the distance.
With all his senses activated, he saw the mountain's mine.
"Found it!"
"Boom!"
Hawke's eyes lit up.
The moment the sonic boom exploded, Hawke vanished from his spot.
"Thanks."
"He's gone."
The Wakanda soldiers piloting their fighter jets, rapidly approaching, exclaimed in surprise.
The next second.
He saw a figure rapidly moving through the jungle below towards their sacred mountain, the location of the vibranium core mine, known as "The Hill."
"There!"
"Shit, he's heading to The Hill."
"Don't let him get there."
"Open fire."
"Understood."
The Wakanda soldier piloting five vibranium fighters responded, then maneuvered his aircraft with a roll, lowering its altitude to pursue Hawke, while simultaneously releasing several air-to-ground missiles.
The missile roared, gleaming with golden light, rapidly approaching Hawke.
Hawke, who was speeding through the jungle towards the hill below, suddenly stopped.
In that instant, he turned and threw a punch behind him.
Boom, boom, boom, boom—a flurry of punches filled the sky, instantly destroying countless ancient trees while simultaneously colliding with the diving surface-to-air missile.
The missile exploded.
A brilliant flash of fire echoed across the jungle sky.
Having done all this, Hawke smiled and once again sped towards the hill where the vibranium mine was located.
"Holy shit! " "
Chase!"
"Understood!"
The pilots, seeing this, cried out again, then reacted.
Just as they were about to give chase again, a deafening roar, seemingly from hell, shook them to their core!
"Hawk!!!"
"Boom!"
The sky seemed to darken instantly.
The colossal, hill-like Hulk roared, shattering the small peaks beneath his feet. He leaped into the air, and before the two pilots could react in disbelief, he slammed his fists into their aircraft.
Although their planes were also made of vibranium, making them indestructible, glass was not.
With a bang, blood instantly spilled from the cockpit as the glass shattered, and the two pilots went offline.
The next second, the Hulk flung the two vibranium aircraft he was holding.
"Shit."
"Get out of the way!"
The other three vibranium fighters, seeing this, quickly maneuvered to avoid the aircraft being hurled at them by the Hulk as a weapon.
The Hulk landed again, creating a deep crater, then bursting open again, before leaping down towards the city below.
The Hulk, returning from hell, had only one thought in his mind:
Destruction!
Annihilation!
Hawk, who was rapidly speeding through the jungle towards the hill, smiled slightly as he sensed the Hulk's presence traveling in the opposite direction.
That's right.
You go play by yourself for a while, and I'll come find you to play again after I get the vibranium and put on my Saint Cloth.
Hawke thought to himself.
Meanwhile, Wakanda was in turmoil.
"Damn it!"
"Father, that Hawke is heading towards our Holy Mountain, and Black Hulk is heading towards the River Tribe!"
In the royal command center, Princess Shuri stared blankly at the projection screen showing Hawke speeding towards the hills and Black Hulk approaching their city, wreaking havoc.
On one side was a powerful thief, and on the other, a ruthless bandit, terrifying in both size and strength.
What to do?!
"We can't let Black Hulk get close to our city,"
King T'Chaka said in a deep voice, looking at the thief and bandit heading in opposite directions on the projection.
"Immediately mobilize the War Tribe, activate Level One War State.
We absolutely cannot let Black Hulk destroy our city."
As he spoke, T'Chaka walked towards the fighter jet platform outside the command center.
"I'll go to the Holy Mountain myself."
Outside the platform, a uniquely designed, heavily armed, and stealth-capable royal fighter jet, also made of vibranium, exited stealth mode and entered takeoff mode.
After T'Chaka boarded the fighter jet, it took off vertically and sped towards their sacred mountain.
Simultaneously, Wakanda entered a state of high alert.
The all-female Dora Guard, responsible for protecting the palace, arrived from all directions, completely surrounding the command center.
General Okoye, clad in vibranium-inlaid red armor and wielding a vibranium spear, stood like a statue at the command center's entrance, his expression solemn.
The Royal Guard, responsible for protecting the capital and maintaining national security, was also deployed in full force.
Royal warships instantly took to the air.
Vibranium tanks rolled out of their warehouses, their tracks rumbling across the road.
Vibranium aircraft soared into the sky, their wings whistling through the air—the sound of missiles launching .
Boom!
An air-to-ground missile struck the Demon Hulk's skin and exploded.
The Demon Hulk instinctively swung his hand, detonating a missile, and roared angrily at a rapidly maneuvering vibranium fighter.
Bang!
Bang!
Bang!*
The vibranium tank, already approaching, shuddered, and as its cannon retracted and expanded, dozens of shells slammed into the Demon Hulk with a deafening roar.
The Demon Hulk, who had just stepped onto the ground, staggered backward and plunged back into the rushing water with a splash.
The next second, fragments of memories of being drowned alive by Hawke in Lake Culver flooded back into his mind.
Touched by these memories, the Demon Hulk was once again enraged, leaping from the water onto the shore and slamming his house-sized fist down at the vibranium tank below.
Hawke, almost out of the jungle, didn't hesitate.
He took a deep breath and soared into the air, naked, flying into the sky.
He then saw the Demon Hulk in the distance, already engaged in combat with the Wakanda soldiers.
Hawke glanced at him, then turned, his right foot landing on the platform of the sacred mountain the instant the sonic cloud appeared.
Just as he was about to step into the mine, Hawke abruptly turned, his right fist clenching as if tearing through the air, unleashing a deafening punch.
King T'Chaka, in his Black Panther suit and concealed, intending to ambush from behind, was sent flying by Hawke's unexpected punch, revealing himself.
T'Chaka, now clad in his Black Panther suit
and wielding his vibranium spear, unleashed an energy shockwave at Hawke.
Hawke's lips curled into a smile; he swayed in place, dodging the shockwave, and reappeared before T'Chaka.
No words were wasted; his fist spoke.
One punch.
"Boom!"
"Thud!"
Hawke's fist slammed powerfully into T'Chaka's vibranium spear, which he had raised in a split second, the immense impact causing T'Chaka to instinctively kneel on the ground.
The next second.
Hawke lashed out with his right foot, delivering a powerful kick that sent Tchaka flying off the platform.
Having done this, Hawke didn't pursue.
The important matter was at hand.
Vibranium was important.
Hawke immediately turned and, in the blink of an eye, entered the mine, just as he had done in Quantico.
Once inside, to avoid being disturbed, Hawke turned and stood within the mine, his fists moving like afterimages.
With a deafening roar, the mine entrance began to shake and collapse, and in no time, the entire entrance was buried under boulders.
Hawke then turned and quickly moved downwards through the mine.
The deeper he went, the more dazzling the golden light became, even with all his senses activated.
And when he reached the bottom of the mine, what appeared before him was the so-called golden legend:
Vibranium ore!
Hawke stared at the vibranium ore embedded in the mountainside, his heart skipping a beat, then joy instantly spreading across his face.
Lightning!
Sonic Fist—
Boom!
Snapping out of his reverie, Hawke's arms flashed once more, creating afterimages as he transformed into a miner.
In an instant.
Dust billowed.
The mountain trembled.
Hawke was single-minded, his eyes fixed on only one thing:
Mining!
Forging the Saint Cloth!!
