Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin.
However, she was born more than ten years before Superman, making her his older cousin.
When Krypton was destroyed, Kara's spaceship followed closely behind Kal-El's, but a meteorite struck her ship during Krypton's explosion, causing her to deviate from her intended trajectory and enter a long period of hibernation.
As a result, her arrival on Earth was delayed compared to Kal-El's.
Kara's abilities are the same as Kal-El's: energy absorption, super strength, super speed, flight, Heat Vision, and ice breath, among others.
"Kara Zor-El?"
Eric tilted his head, looking at the person who was completely naked, "Don't tell me you sleepwalked here by accident, and you just happen to have a habit of not wearing clothes when you sleep."
"Whoosh!"
A gust of wind blew, and Eric instantly disappeared.
In less than a second, he was standing back at the door, holding a piece of clothing.
Throwing the clothes to the other person, Eric closed the door, "Put on some clothes before you come in."
"Who's outside, Eric?"
Martha asked, somewhat surprised by Eric's actions.
"I don't know, she calls herself Kara Zor-El."
Eric replied to his mother.
"Why are you bringing clothes down from upstairs?"
Martha walked over to Eric, asking him while casting a curious glance towards the door.
"She wasn't wearing any clothes."
"Oh!"
Martha covered her mouth, looking at her husband with some surprise, both their faces showing a slightly awkward expression.
Knock, knock, knock!
The door was knocked on again.
Eric opened the door after confirming that the other person had put on his clothes.
"I know you, Eric Kent."
Kara, now dressed, smiled slightly at Eric.
"It's strange, you don't belong there, but I can feel a similar aura from you.
You're not Kal-El's (Kal-El's) brother, but why am I so confused?"
Although a smile played on her lips, a puzzled expression was on her face.
"Maybe I'm a Kal-El from a parallel world."
Eric blurted out a random lie.
"Just like there's a Kara Zor-El in a parallel world, and she wouldn't be a nudist.
Now, madam, do you want to leave directly, or say some strange things before you leave?"
"I won't leave; my purpose is for Kal-El.
Until I make contact with him, I won't leave here."
"Eric."
As the two were talking, Jonathan walked over and looked at the woman standing outside the door, "Why don't you invite her in?"
Although he wasn't interested in the woman who called herself Supergirl, under Jonathan's intervention, Eric could only let her in.
When Kal-El returned from school, he felt the atmosphere in the room was a bit strange.
Besides his parents and Eric, there was an uninvited guest in the house—a blonde girl.
Although he didn't understand why the blonde girl sitting on the sofa was wearing Eric's clothes.
"Hey, Dad, Mom."
Kal-El greeted his parents, then glanced at the girl holding a teacup on the sofa.
He wanted to go over to Eric and ask him if she was his new date.
But as soon as he thought of Eric's "straight man" personality, he immediately dismissed that idea.
"This is hot tea."
Seeing Kara constantly examining the teacup in front of her, thinking she was interested in the drink inside, Martha explained to her.
"Young lady, your parents must be very worried about you; why don't we call them?"
Jonathan, standing nearby, said to the girl.
"No, don't call anyone."
Kara refused.
"You can't keep sleeping in the farmland."
Jonathan said with a frown, "If you don't mind, stay with us for the night."
Although he was very suspicious of the girl's identity, he felt it was unsafe to leave such a mentally strange girl outside.
"Thank you!"
Kara thanked Jonathan and Martha, "I heard you are very kind people."
"Uh, thank you."
Jonathan and his wife exchanged a complex look.
Eric stood by, knowing the woman's identity was strange, but he couldn't directly explain it to his parents.
"Can you tell us where you came from?"
Eric walked up to Kara and asked her directly.
As far as he knew, Supergirl arrived on Earth at a different time than Kal-El.
Although her appearance might not change, someone with common sense wouldn't act so strangely.
"I came from a passage in a cave wall."
Kara gently put down her hot tea and replied to Eric.
"A passage in the wall?"
Hearing the other person mention a passage in the wall, Kal-El's heart skipped a beat, and he immediately asked Kara, "You said a passage in the wall?"
"Yes, that passage leads to a very distant place."
"What place?"
"It's a very distant planet, and it's a place that can answer all your questions.
There, you don't have to hide your true self; you can release everything you've suppressed."
"Hey!"
Hearing Kara's words getting increasingly off, Jonathan immediately stopped her.
"If you say you're from a distant planet, then please, show us what special abilities you have?"
"Dad?!"
Kal-El looked at Jonathan, wondering why his father would suddenly challenge the other person.
"Kal-El, you know Lex is Doctor Helen's fiancé; how can you not know this is their trick?
I believe they are the kind of people who would do such things, because the Luthor Family generally has no bottom line."
"Jonathan Kent, you have no right to speak like that!"
Kara stood up abruptly, her eyes showing an unfriendly gaze.
"The time has come, I will let Kal-El see what he needs to see!"
"You'd better show some goodwill."
Eric activated his super speed, instantly standing between Jonathan and Kara.
He stared coldly at Supergirl, "Otherwise, I'll show you the abilities from Earth that you look down on."
Facing Eric's threat, complex emotions flickered in Kara's eyes.
"Eric Kent, you are not from Earth; your life's aura breathes air that doesn't belong to this world.
If you wish, I will treat you like Kal-El, take you from here, and help you find your life's origin."
"Cut out your tricks."
Eric scoffed when he heard the other person say she would take him from here.
"You think I'd easily believe your nonsense.
This is my home!"
"No, it's not.
You, like Kal-El, are suppressing your true nature."
A faint reddish glow emanated from Supergirl's eyes, "You and Kal-El are similar; you are both beings who will never be understood, never accepted."
"Is that so?"
Eric's Heat Vision was building in his eyes, ready to be unleashed at any moment.
Watching the tense atmosphere between the two, Jonathan and Martha both held their breath nervously.
Jonathan and his wife exchanged a glance, and just as they were about to try and dissuade Eric, Kal-El suddenly stood up.
"You just said Kal-El, what did you mean by that?"
He asked Kara with a frown.
"That's your name."
The reddish glow in Kara's eyes faded, and she turned to face Kal-El, "It's the name you were given at birth."
"You—why are you here?"
Kal-El asked her, somewhat confused.
Kara walked over, took Kal-El's hand, and softly said, "The reason I'm here is to take you home."
Kara, holding Kal-El's hands, was about to continue speaking when her expression suddenly turned serious.
"Someone's here!"
Knock, knock!
No sooner had she spoken than the living room door was knocked, and a voice came from outside.
"Kal-El, Eric, are you there?"
Kal-El looked towards the door after hearing the voice, "Pete?"
When he looked back, he found that Kara, who had been sitting on the sofa, had disappeared.
The teacup on the round table gently rippled, but the owner who had been drinking the hot tea was nowhere to be seen.
"She?"
Kal-El cast a questioning look at Eric.
"Obviously, she's gone."
Eric shook his head, looking in the direction where she had disappeared, a cautious look rising in his eyes.
Although he was currently doubtful about Supergirl's identity, in terms of combat power, the other party was not weaker than the current Kal-El.
Whether it was the Heat Vision with immense energy that she had just displayed, or the speed that even he found somewhat daunting.
Kal-El opened the door and welcomed in little Pete.
"Mr. Kent."
Pete first greeted Jonathan and Martha.
"Pete? Has something happened?"
Kal-El asked his best friend.
"Yes, something, but it's not about you, it's about Eric."
Pete shifted his gaze to Eric, who was about to go upstairs.
"What is it?"
Eric stopped, wondering why the other person would mention him.
He and Pete rarely interacted; their familiarity was limited to only a few spoken words.
"Can I speak with you alone for a moment, Eric?"
Pete hesitated for a few seconds, then looked up and asked Eric.
"Sure."
Nodding, Eric led Pete up to the second floor.
"It's like this..."
Pete took a deep breath and said to Eric, "Today at school, a few people were asking about you.
Although they were very discreet and careful, I still noticed them.
They looked shifty, clearly up to no good, so I came to warn you."
"Asking about me?"
Eric's expression turned serious, "Who are they?"
"I don't know.
They looked a bit young, maybe high school students, maybe people who have already entered society.
Three girls, one boy; that guy's eyes were a bit scary.
I don't know what they want to do, but if you've provoked them, I felt I had to come and give you a heads-up."
Eric nodded, thanked the other person, and asked Pete to briefly describe their appearances.
After Pete left, he stood by the second-floor window, lost in thought.
After confirming that one of them was Stargirl, his brow furrowed slightly.
Do they want revenge? Or to snatch the Star Scepter?
Or both?!
