"She makes me crazy and I don't want to scare her with my clingy behavior," he said, but Marcus remained silent. He kissed her on her forehead before leaving the room.
*In the morning*
Some maids were sent out to the forest to get fruit and vegetables that the Castle was lacking. Mia and Lola were among those appointed. Both of them were excited because it was an opportunity to explore, and with their baskets, they set out for the forest.
Mia and Lola were so engrossed with all things nature that they went deep into the forest with their baskets. They entered a place surrounded by apple trees filled with ripe apples. The duo went to the trees and began plucking them, Lola at the top throwing the apples while Mia put them in the basket.
"Harrrrcruuu," they heard a roar and the footsteps of an approaching figure. Lola, being a witch, sent a distress call to the castle. She jumped down from the tree, grabbed Mia's hand, and together they ran away from the being.
"Monster," the word rang in their heads. It brought out its claws to grab them, but Lola was fast enough to dodge it with Mia. Mia fell down due to the fast move they made and was taken by the being into the woods.
Lola stood still as it felt like the world had come to an end. To her, Mia had been a sister, a companion. Her knees gave up and she fell down. As if the world felt her pain, the rain started dropping heavily.
"Miaaaaa!!!" she screamed, crying as the rain dropped on her with no mercy.
*Meanwhile, in the Golden Castle*
Lord Mars was restless. He could not understand what was wrong. His beast was trying to take over.
"Marcus, what is wrong? Why are you behaving like this?" Lord Mars asked, but was not responded to.
"Knock knock," someone knocked.
"Who is there?" Lord Mars asked.
"Blade, my lord," the person replied.
"Come in. What is your message?" Lord Mars asked.
"One of the maids sent a distress call, my lord," Blade said.
"Who?" Lord Mars asked.
"Lola. She's with a maid called Mia," Blade said. Lord Mars, knowing why he felt like that, disappeared.
Blade was afraid of the disappearance of his Lord, but knowing that nothing could happen to him, he relaxed.
*Somewhere in the wood*
The strange being kept the unconscious Mia on dry leaves.
"Harrcru," it roared.
"Keep shut, you noisy thing," a voice said, and it obeyed.
"How is she doing?" the voice asked.
"Fine, your Majesty," it answered, bowing its head.
"With her blood I can complete my mission. The Golden Castle and all supernatural should be ready for me," the voice said, laughing evilly.
"Hahahaha!! Now extract her blood," the voice commanded.
*In the Golden Castle*
Ethan and Flash were sparring with each other in the training ground when Frederick came in.
"Here comes the chatterbox!!" Flash hailed.
"What brings you here?" Ethan asked.
"Did you hear that one of the maids was taken by a strange being and our Lord went to search for her?" Frederick said.
"What does that have to do with our Lord?" Ethan asked.
"Yes, why would Lord personally go and search for her when there are guards around?" Flash asked.
"That's because she's his mate," Frederick said, and the two gasped in surprise.
"How did you know?" Ethan asked, looking at Frederick suspiciously.
"I am not called the Golden Castle caster for nothing," Frederick said proudly.
Suddenly, someone appeared and smacked Frederick on his head.
"Ouch," he groaned in pain.
"Moon, why smack my head?" he asked.
"There is an announcement that was passed to all members saying that all members should come to the Dragon Red Hall," Moon said, ignoring Frederick.
*In the wood*
Lord Mars kept running fast and stopped at intervals when there was any weird movement or sound. He approached a cave he saw from afar and stopped to examine it. He went in, looking at the strange writing and drawings on the wall.
It was a drawing of a woman and a young lady engaged in battle. Behind the woman was the strange being he came across when he was young, with werewolves and supernaturals behind the young lady. Another drawing showed the woman extracting the blood of the young lady while she was unconscious. He was still looking at the wall when a strange woman glowing with light spoke.
"The prophecy must be fulfilled. Her Majesty of Evil will bring out her army against all supernatural with blood extracted from the chosen one. GO NOW, FOR THE PROPHECY IS NEAR!!!"
