Chapter 114 - Chapter 113 Extra 2

Bai Jiao sat in the last row of the classroom. The teacher on the podium was passionately speaking about the bright future of the medical department, encouraging the students who were receiving their diplomas today and about to enter the workforce.

The teacher spoke for a long time before finally pausing to focus on the important matter of receiving their diplomas. Before he could finish a few words in a calm tone, his voice became excited again: "Our Class 1 of Medical Sciences graduates this year are all exceptional! Everyone has successfully received their diplomas!"

As he spoke, his gaze swept across the classroom, finally settling on Bai Jiao: "Here, I must especially commend Bai Jiao. He achieved full marks in all assessments, making him the only student in the medical department in the past ten years to achieve perfect scores!"

Bai Jiao smiled faintly, his expression calm and composed, as if he weren't the one being praised.

The students turned to look at him, their eyes filled with complex emotions—guilt, admiration, envy, and more.

They'd forgotten when they started isolating Bai Jiao. It seemed from the beginning, rumors circulated that Bai Jiao was a B-rank female beast master, exceptionally fierce. Later, three-quarters of the male students in Class One were ridiculed by other classes and departments, said to be completely dominated by a female.

Initially, some were defiant and tried to cause trouble for Bai Jiao, only to be easily dealt with by his homemade powder, losing face in front of the entire school.

From then on, Bai Jiao's reputation soared. No one dared to provoke him, nor approach him. Rumors circulated that he carried many poisons and would attack anyone when displeased.

However, recent reports made everyone realize that Bai Jiao wasn't so unapproachable after all. He got along well with Xie Sen, Mei Yin, and Long Teng.

And thinking about it carefully, aside from dealing with troublemakers, Bai Jiao had never actually harmed anyone.

The teacher praised Bai Jiao from every angle. Just then, a commotion arose outside the classroom—the roars of contracted beasts and excited shouts from others.

Everyone in the classroom turned to look out the window. Bai Jiao, sitting closest to the back door, turned his head and saw a familiar dark figure flying out of the teaching building.

He immediately stood up and ran outside the classroom. Many people rushed out of the classrooms on either side, someone shouting, "It's the geniuses from the Information Science and Combat Science departments!"

"What happened? Is a fight breaking out?"

"Wow, exciting! Does anyone know where the battlefield is?"

Hearing "Information Science and Combat Science departments," Bai Jiao thought of Mei Yin and Long Teng, and immediately connected them to Xie Sen. He turned right and ran downstairs quickly.

People gathered in the corridors and stairwells automatically made way for him, as if worried he might suddenly attack them.

The teaching building consisted of three buildings arranged in a U-shape. Bai Jiao ran smoothly downstairs, and many people from the other two buildings were also running down. He heard someone mention 'God Xie'.

He quickened his pace. There were several thick pillars in front of the buildings; crossing them would lead to the school's main road.

As he passed the pillar, he was stopped. He paused, looked at the person, and his face turned cold.

Standing opposite him was a tall, dark-skinned man in a loose black tracksuit. His eyes burned as he looked at Bai Jiao, his tone excited: "Bai Jiao, why are you out so soon? I thought I'd have to wait a while!"

Bai Jiao ignored him and walked past him, only to be stopped again.

The man in black was both anxious and angry: "You don't even want to say a word to me? No matter what, we've been classmates since middle school, all the way through university!"

Bai Jiao looked at him coldly, her voice laced with sarcasm: "Classmates?"

The man avoided his gaze and hurriedly said, "I'm sorry, I really didn't mean it before. I didn't really hate you. I was just... just angry that you always ignored me. I didn't understand before, but now I do. I like you."

He looked at Bai Jiao again: "I'm sorry, I don't mind that you're a B-rank Beast Lord, and I'm not afraid that you're stronger than me." "Be my partner, and I'll treat you well!"

Bai Jiao's face darkened further. "Get lost."

The male's brows furrowed sharply, his chest heaving violently. "I know you're angry with me. I ruined your reputation, but I'll marry you. I'll make up for what I did wrong."

Bai Jiao coldly walked away, but before she could take a step, the male grabbed her hand. "Don't go. If you don't believe me, I'll go get our marriage certificate right now." Bai Jiao frowned

, reaching for a spray bottle in her backpack with her other hand. Before she could even take it out, the male in black suddenly screamed and fell to the ground to her right.

"Ah Jiao, are you alright?" Long Teng withdrew his fist and asked Bai Jiao with concern.

Bai Jiao's expression relaxed slightly, and she moved her arm that had just been grabbed: "It's nothing. Where are Asen and Maine?"

"Asen went back to the classroom with Maine to get their graduation certificates," Long Teng pointed to the sky, "I saw you when I passed by, so I came down."

The man in black got up from the ground, glaring fiercely at Long Teng: "Long Teng, mind your own business. This is between Bai Jiao and me, it has nothing to do with you."

Long Teng glared at him: "How can it have nothing to do with you? If you dare to lay a hand on Asen again, believe me, I'll knock your teeth out!" The man

in black gritted his teeth, knowing he was no match for Long Teng, who was always unpredictable. Although his words were laughable, the possibility of him doing them was very high.

He looked at Bai Jiao: "I'm serious. Think about it, even males avoid you like the plague. If you don't become my partner, you'll really be a bachelor for life! You..."

Before he could finish his sentence, he was knocked away by Long Teng's fist.

Long Teng's baby face was stern and unusually serious, looking even more intimidating than a person with a fierce expression. He moved with lightning speed, delivering four punches in the blink of an eye—two to each side of the face, perfectly symmetrical. The man

in black, bruised and swollen, retaliated furiously, hurling insults, only to be beaten even more badly.

Those who had rushed out to watch the commotion returned, while those without flying contracted beasts could only walk obediently, unexpectedly encountering another spectacle, and gathered to watch.

"Good, well done!"

"Haha, it's a total stomp on a noob!"

"The difference in strength is too great."

The man in black covered his mouth, blood streaming from his nose, a bloodied front tooth at his feet, his face a bloody mess, looking exceptionally pitiful.

Long Teng was about to fight again when Bai Jiao called out, "A-Teng."

Long Teng turned around and looked at him, his expression instantly changing from anger to joy, his smile still very bright: "What's wrong?"

Bai Jiao smiled faintly at the smile: "Let's go back to the classroom, I haven't gotten my graduation certificate yet."

Long Teng hopped over to him in a few steps: "Yeah, I haven't gotten mine yet either. I'll get it and wait for you later, let's have lunch together!"

"Okay."

Neither of them cared about what others thought, chatting among the onlookers. The students automatically made way, and the two left calmly.

Leaving behind the black-clad male picking up his front teeth and grinning, and a bunch of onlookers.

Bai Jiao was the last to get his graduation certificate. After coming out of the classroom, she saw Long Teng leaning against the corridor wall, looking at something with his head tilted.

Long Teng was very focused, his slightly long black hair falling at the corners of his eyes, adding a touch of calmness, quite different from usual.

Three females were chatting and laughing around the corner. Although they tried to be discreet, Bai Jiao could still tell they were looking at Long Teng, and the occasional shy smiles they showed were because of him.

For some reason, he suddenly felt a little down.

He sized up Long Teng. The boy was tall and slender, his orange tracksuit giving him a vibrant air. He had a classic baby face, both cute and handsome, and always gave off a pure and innocent vibe.

With such looks, coupled with his S-rank Beast Master status and being the only son of the Long clan, it was perfectly normal for someone to be attracted to him.

Perhaps Bai Jiao's gaze was too obvious, because Long Teng turned to look at him, immediately flashing a bright smile that revealed a set of gleaming white teeth. The previous calmness vanished completely, and he became lively and energetic.

Long Teng waved excitedly, "Ah Jiao, come here quickly! There's an ant moving house here, it's so fun!"

Bai Jiao couldn't help but laugh as she walked towards Long Teng. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed that one of the three females was covering her face, pouting, while another's eyes were shining as she stared intently at Long Teng.

"It's amazing! Look, what it's carrying is much bigger than itself," Long Teng exclaimed, pointing at the ant as Bai Jiao approached.

Bai Jiao glanced at him: "Ants have very efficient muscle engines, they can generate a lot of energy," he laughed. "You're also very capable, you can lift things heavier than you."

Long Teng laughed: "Hehe, I'm big, ants are so small and light," he said, turning to walk towards the stairs. "What do you want to eat?"

Bai Jiao was about to reply when the female with sparkling eyes ran up to Long Teng, her face flushed, her voice nervous: "Long Teng, I, I..."

Long Teng looked at her in confusion: "What's wrong with you?"

The female took a deep breath and said loudly: "I like you, can we go out together?"

Long Teng was even more confused: "I don't know you, are you sure you're not mistaken?" He looked at Bai Jiao, "I know a barbecue place that's pretty good, want to try it?"

He naturally walked past the female, asking Bai Jiao as he went, his eyes bright: "Do you want something spicy? I have some chili peppers here, you can ask them to put them in when they're grilling the meat."

Bai Jiao looked back, the confessing female was standing there, while the other two females were comforting each other.

He looked at Long Teng, scrutinizing his expression: "You really think he mistook me for someone else?"

Long Teng blinked: "Right, I haven't seen anyone who looks like me at school either, but there must be some misunderstanding. I don't even know him! Besides, I like you."

He said this casually, then jumped down the steps in a few strides, turning back with a smile to ask: "You haven't said what you want to eat yet? I'll order first, so we can eat when we get to the restaurant."

Bai Jiao snapped out of her 'I like you' thoughts: "Spicy barbecue."

Leaving Maine and Xie Sen's wedding, Long Teng drove the shuttle, with Bai Jiao in the passenger seat. Long Teng said enthusiastically: "Ah Sen and the others said honey..." "Yue is going to Sun City. There are lakes of all sizes there. It must be very interesting!"

Bai Jiao said, "This is their honeymoon. We'd better not disturb them."

Long Teng said, "Then let's go together. We won't go with Asen and the others. You've been doing research since graduation. You haven't even had a graduation trip, have you?"

Bai Jiao hesitated slightly, but Long Teng said loudly, "It's settled then. We're going to Sun City for our graduation trip. Yay!"

Sun City has many lakes, including Lincheng Lake and Forest Lake. Forest Lake is located inside the Wilderness Forest and is considered a dangerous area. It also has restrictions on entry and exit. Long Teng and Bai Jiao showed their identification information and successfully left the city for Forest Lake.

The two sat atop the flying dragon beast, traversing forest after forest, passing lake after lake. The air was humid, and the temperature was just right. Long Teng exclaimed excitedly, "Wow, this is so much more comfortable than Star City Forest! It's not hot at all!"

Bai Jiao replied with a relaxed expression, "Yes, it's very comfortable. Let's find a place to camp."

The flying dragon beast landed on a small piece of land in the water. Tall trees grew on the land, and the soil was soft and damp, giving a slight sinking sensation when you stepped on it.

Long Teng loved it. After setting up the tent and sleeping mat, he jumped and skipped around the tent like a child, extremely happy.

Bai Jiao surveyed the surrounding plants, squatted down to look at the water plants by the lake, and looked back at Long Teng's excited expression. He couldn't help but smile. He splashed his hand in the clear lake water, creating tiny ripples. He felt relaxed and joyful.

Just as he was about to withdraw his hand, he paused, staring sharply at the center of the lake. The water was clear, and as he crouched down to look, the center was a bright white. He stared intently, and then noticed an unusual silvery-white patch within that bright white.

He abruptly stood up, the lake rippled, and the silvery-white patch disappeared beneath the water. He instinctively tried to chase after it, but someone suddenly grabbed his waist.

Long Teng's breathing was a little rapid. He carried him to the tent, still holding him by the waist, then released him, walked around to face him, patted his face, and looked back at the lake, exclaiming in surprise, "Are there really water ghosts in the water that steal souls?"

Bai Jiao was taken aback, then chuckled, "No."

"Then why did you just walk straight into the water? You scared me half to death." Long Teng patted his chest.

Bai Jiao: "I thought you weren't afraid of anything."

Long Teng: "How could I? When I saw you walk into the water, my heart jumped into my throat. I was so afraid you'd get hurt." He spoke frankly, his eyes pure, filled with obvious worry.

Bai Jiao's heart skipped a beat. She avoided his gaze and looked into the water. "I just sensed... my contracted beast. It was probably in the middle of the lake, but it seemed to know I saw it and ran away."

"Really?" Long Teng jumped up excitedly, craning his neck to look into the lake. He saw nothing, then suddenly remembered and turned back to ask, "What's your contracted beast?"

Bai Jiao: "A white python."

"Wow, it must be very beautiful," Long Teng's eyes lit up. "The giant pythons at Asen's place are very beautiful. If it were white, it would be even more beautiful."

He said seriously, "Don't worry, I will definitely help you find it."

For the next two days, they stayed around this body of water. Bai Jiao could always sense the white python, but it would slip away whenever he looked over.

"Why is it hiding from you?" Long Teng took a tool and dug into the center of a large tree trunk. He planned to build a boat to search for it in the middle of the lake.

Bai Jiao thought for a moment: "Maybe it's testing me."

"You're so kind, you don't need to be tested at all." Long Teng replied naturally, wood chips flying everywhere.

Bai Jiao looked at him and smiled softly.

The wooden boat was well-made, more than enough to carry two people. Long Teng and Bai Jiao each held a plank, and the boat spun around for a while before finally settling into position.

As the boat approached the center, Bai Jiao said softly, "I know you're here. Don't you like me? It's okay if you don't. We can get to know each other, be friends, and not form a contract is fine too."

The flying dragon beast soared through the air, emitting a soft roar.

Half an hour later, the sound of water came from the stern. The two turned around simultaneously and saw a giant silver python rising from the water. The python raised its head, its silver eyes looking at them curiously.

"So beautiful," Long Teng said in a low voice.

Bai Jiao was also delighted. The python flicked its tail, like a white light, and darted to Bai Jiao's side, tentatively stretching its head out. Bai Jiao carefully reached out and touched it. The python withdrew, its body coiling into a flower shape in the water.

It didn't retreat far, but simply watched Bai Jiao quietly.

Bai Jiao sensed its emotions and then smiled, "If you're willing to form a pact, come ashore with us."

After the boat docked, the white python thrashed in the water for a while before finally coming ashore as well.

The process of forming the bond was extremely difficult for Bai Jiao. The white python was a B-rank contracted beast, which was already a very high level for a female. This white python could live alone near the forest lake, was very strong, cautious, and wary.

After the bond was formed, Bai Jiao immediately fell into a coma, and was only saved from falling to the ground by Long Teng catching her in time.

Long Teng was extremely flustered when he caught Bai Jiao, but then he suddenly calmed down. He carried Bai Jiao to the tent, had Da Hei comfort the white python, and also keep watch outside in case of danger.

He used clean water from his backpack to wet a towel and wipe the sweat from Bai Jiao's face, and took off Bai Jiao's shoes to make her more comfortable.

He stayed by Bai Jiao's side, and after thinking for a moment, he took out some fruit he had stored in his backpack. He placed one of each kind of fruit in a long strip next to Bai Jiao's pillow, filling the tent with a sweet fruity aroma.

He thought for a moment, realizing there was nothing else to do. He was exhausted after forming the bond and needed to sleep to recover. Eating something after waking up would help him recover faster.

He sat on the edge of the bed, staring at Bai Jiao. The more he looked, the more beautiful she seemed, and he was incredibly fond of her. A strand of black hair clung to Bai Jiao's forehead

. He bent down, held his breath, and removed the hair. Her smooth forehead, free of impurities, looked particularly pleasing to the eye. He stood up, his gaze naturally moving downwards, passing over Bai Jiao's delicate eyebrows and pretty nose, finally settling on her pale lips

. He felt inexplicably uncomfortable. Would the color be brighter if they were wet? His Adam's apple bobbed uncontrollably, and an intimate image suddenly flashed into his mind. His face instantly flushed, from his cheeks to his ears.

He sat up abruptly, shifting restlessly in his seat, but after a while, he remained in the same place.

He secretly glanced at Bai Jiao, his eyes involuntarily curving into a smile, feeling an involuntary surge of happiness. He propped his chin on his hand, looking somewhat worried. If A-Jiao knew what he had just been thinking, would she accuse him of being a pervert and then ignore him from now on?

When Bai Jiao woke up, before he even opened his eyes, he smelled the aroma of fruit. He opened his eyes, his view completely blocked by Long Teng's smiling face: "A-Jiao, you're awake!"

The two were too close, and Bai Jiao subconsciously shrank his neck: "Yeah."

Long Teng asked: "Are you hungry?"

Bai Jiao turned his head and saw a row of fruit, and couldn't help but laugh. He sat up: "Why did you take all of these out?"

Long Teng leaned back and sat upright beside him, pointing at the fruit with a bright smile: "You can eat them as soon as you wake up, you can eat whatever you want."

Bai Jiao looked at the neat row: "Have you eaten?"

Long Teng patted his stomach: "Wow, I'm so hungry, I didn't even realize it until you said so!" He took out a knife from his backpack, cut the watermelon in half, and then took out two spoons, placing one on each side.

He smiled and said, "Perfect, let's eat together."

Bai Jiao glanced at him, nodded, and took half a watermelon. Long Teng took the other half. The two walked outside the tent. It was already quite dark, and the sky was filled with beautiful stars.

Long Teng turned on the lights and sat down next to Bai Jiao to eat watermelon. The white python swam to Bai Jiao's feet and gently touched him. Bai Jiao looked at it, then at Long Teng, a deep smile on his face.

The two returned to Star City and first went to see Xie Sen. To help Bai Jiao and the white python communicate, they arranged for the python to stay in the accommodation area.

Bai Jiao was busy again, conducting various research every day. Not long after returning, the Pharmaceutical Research Institute launched a new project: research on drugs to improve fertility.

All departments attached great importance to this research. Bai Jiao was the youngest member participating in this project, and he worked very hard.

Long Teng began his days of exchanging skills everywhere, but he would visit Bai Jiao at least three days a week. He was always in a hurry, but he never forgot to bring Bai Jiao small gifts.

Besides gifts, he would also bring her his injuries.

Bai Jiao bandaged his wound and gave him a box of ointment: "This is a newly produced external wound medicine. Remember to apply it immediately after you get hurt."

Long Teng sat on Bai Jiao's sofa, not taking the ointment, but asked listlessly, "Don't you want to treat my wound?"

Bai Jiao was taken aback: "No, why do you think that?"

Long Teng said, "If I apply the medicine myself, you won't have to treat it for me." His cheeks puffed out, a little unhappy, "They suggested so many methods, but only having you treat my wound will allow me to spend more time with you. I don't want to apply the medicine myself!"

Bai Jiao couldn't help but laugh and patted him on the head: "Are you a child?"

"I'm not," Long Teng retorted unhappily, "I'm an adult, I can get married."

Bai Jiao: "...If you want to see me, you don't have to be hurt."

"But you're always doing research," Long Teng said dejectedly, "If I have nothing to do, how can I bother you? You'll definitely hate me."

"No," Bai Jiao said, "I won't hate you. I'm supposed to rest after work in the evening, but I just have nothing else to do, so I continue my research."

"Really?" Long Teng's eyes lit up.

Bai Jiao nodded, "Really."

Long Teng smiled brightly, "You're so nice, I like you so much." He gently took Bai Jiao's hand, "Will you be my partner?"

Bai Jiao's heart pounded, and she took a deep breath, "Don't joke around."

"I'm not joking," Long Teng said unhappily, "I like you, and I want you to be my partner."

Bai Jiao looked at him, "Besides your family, besides me and Asen, you haven't spoken to any other females, have you?"

Long Teng was puzzled, "Why would I talk to them?"

Bai Jiao sighed helplessly. Long Teng was like a child, curious about everything. He believed Long Teng's words, but he was also worried. He was afraid that Long Teng had never interacted with females before and had developed a temporary curiosity about him.

"The soy sauce Asen asked me to make is ready. Aren't you curious? I'll take you to see it." He changed the subject.

Life continued to be busy, but there were some changes. Long Teng no longer came with injuries, only gifts, and shared the fun things that happened during their sparring sessions with Bai Jiao.

After challenging all the masters, Long Teng said to Bai Jiao, "I'm not sparring anymore. I'm planning to open a restaurant. What do you think?"

His eyes were bright; clearly, he was very interested in opening a restaurant.

The two discussed it and then went to see Xie Sen to visit the baby and discuss a menu collaboration.

Long Teng looked at the baby, admiring him immensely; he also wanted a baby. Hearing Xie Sen's teasing, his first reaction was to look at his own belly, but he quickly recovered.

He then brought up the idea of marriage with Bai Jiao, only to be changed the subject again by her.

After the business was settled, he and Bai Jiao left together. Bai Jiao sat in the passenger seat, while he sat in the driver's seat, but didn't move.

Bai Jiao asked, puzzled, "What's wrong?"

Long Teng's chest heaved. Finally, he couldn't resist turning around, placing his hand on Bai Jiao's shoulder. They were very close, able to feel each other's breath. He felt a pang of sadness: "I know, you're deliberately changing the subject. You always do."

If he hadn't realized it the first time, after so many times, he would have understood long ago.

Before Bai Jiao could react, Long Teng continued, "Don't you like me? Don't you want to see me? Aren't you happy being with me? Don't you want to be close to me?" He

only uttered half of the last word, the other half hidden between their touching lips.

Long Teng didn't continue, only pressing his lips to Bai Jiao's. Bai Jiao's eyes widened slightly, stunned into place. Their hearts pounded like drums, and they could hear each other's movements.

After a while, Long Teng pulled back slightly, his face flushed, and asked, "Do you hate this?"

Bai Jiao snapped out of her daze, pursed her lips, and chuckled softly, her smile quickly deepening until she burst out laughing.

Long Teng stood up in annoyance, forgetting they were still flying, and bumped his head on the roof, making quite a noise. Bai Jiao pulled him down to sit, reaching out to rub his head: "So clumsy."

"What are you laughing at?" Long Teng asked, confused and somewhat embarrassed.

Bai Jiao said, "You just now," he cleared his throat, "Where did you learn those words and actions?"

"No," Long Teng scratched his cheek and smiled sheepishly, "I was just a little angry and upset, and I wanted to know your answer."

He smiled broadly, his eyes clear, "But it's okay, as long as you're not married, I won't give up. Anyway, I just like you, and I want to marry you."

Bai Jiao laughed, "You met quite a few females when you were sparring, right? I saw there's even a fan club for you online; you're very popular."

Long Teng nodded, "Yes, there were quite a few females. Why?"

"What do you think of them?" Bai Jiao asked.

Long Teng looked confused, then thought for a moment, "I don't know, I only remember the screams."

Bai Jiao chuckled, and Long Teng asked, "Do you want to get to know them? You... want to join the fan club?"

"No, I don't want to." Bai Jiao sighed helplessly and patted his arm, "Let's go."

Long Teng didn't move, "You haven't answered my question yet. Although I won't give up no matter what, I still want to know the answer. It would be even better if you could tell me why I don't like it." He laughed as he spoke, his eyes full of expectation.

Bai Jiao sighed helplessly, "If I disliked you, I wouldn't be sitting here talking to you after you kissed me." He chuckled, "Not everything needs to be explained clearly."

Long Teng paused, his eyes suddenly lighting up, and he hugged him joyfully, "Hahaha, you like me, right?" He added, "I like things to be clear, I'm afraid of making mistakes."

Bai Jiao was influenced by his cheerful tone and smiled, "Yes, I like it."

Long Teng hugged him for a while before letting go, looking at him expectantly, "So when are we getting married?"

Bai Jiao: "...Marriage is too fast, let's date first." He thought back and confirmed that this was the normal process.

After confirming their relationship, while preparing to open the shop, Long Teng would visit Bai Jiao every day, occasionally bringing Xie Sen's newly developed dishes. When Bai Jiao ate them, his eyes would sparkle.

One day he brought kimchi. After Bai Jiao finished eating, his lips turned bright red from the spiciness. His skin was very fair, so his lips appeared even redder. Long Teng couldn't resist and kissed him.

With zero experience, they stumbled together purely on instinct, experiencing a unique and novel sensation. A simple kiss lasted a long time. Afterwards, Long Teng smiled happily, holding Bai Jiao in his arms, her head turned to the side, her red ears peeking out from her white hair.

Long Teng rushed home, his feet barely touching the ground. Long Yu put his arm around his neck: "You little rascal, what mischief did you get

up to?" Long Teng blushed and didn't answer. Long Yu, a shrewd man, glanced at his lips and instantly understood, thinking to himself how innocent his son was—just one kiss and he was already practically floating on air.

He patted Long Teng on the shoulder: "When are you getting married? Do you want us to help you choose a date?"

Long Teng snapped out of his reverie, looking dejected. "Ah Jiao doesn't want to. She said she doesn't want to get married now, she wants to date first."

"Haven't you been dating for a while?" Long Yu asked. "Have you proposed?"

Long Teng: "Propose? I've asked Ah Jiao so many times."

Long Yu looked disgusted and began to explain the importance of proposals to females, then extended the discussion to the importance of the form of the proposal, finally patting Long Teng on the head: "Go and think about it!"

Long Teng's eyes lit up, and he enthusiastically began to think about how to propose. To meet the female's expectations, he specifically asked Xie Sen many times. He also searched for many guides online, and finally saw someone say that sincerity is the most important thing.

He thought about it and quickly made a decision, stopping his overthinking.

On May 20th, he and Bai Jiao had dinner together, then piloted the shuttle to the top floor of the observatory.

Bai Jiao laughed, "Where did you get this authority?"

Long Teng, holding his hand, smiled and said, "I asked my father for help."

Bai Jiao had a guess in his mind and began to feel nervous. He smiled but didn't say anything more, following him to the top floor.

The observatory's top floor was very high, and the sky was full of stars, seemingly within reach.

The two admired the night view side by side. Suddenly, all the lights on the building opposite the observatory went out, then gradually lit up again, finally forming the words: "Ah Jiao, I love you. "

The moment the words became clear, Long Teng took Bai Jiao's hand and knelt down on one knee, taking out a dark blue velvet box containing two rings.

Long Teng looked up at Bai Jiao, his face serious, with a hint of nervousness: "Ah Jiao, will you be my partner?"

Bai Jiao tilted his head, wiped away his tears, and nodded: "Okay."

Long Teng jumped up, hugged him, and spun him around. Bang bang bang sounds came from the building opposite, and dazzling fireworks bloomed in the sky, colorful and beautiful.

Long Teng stopped, and Bai Jiao looked at the building across the street, unable to suppress a laugh: "Are you sure I'll say yes?"

Long Teng shook his head: "Not sure. If you refuse, I'll just have to take you home and then watch the fireworks alone."

Bai Jiao buried her head in his chest, letting her tears soak his clothes: "Silly boy, how could I bear to let you watch the fireworks alone?"

Long Teng was at a loss: "Why are you crying? Are you unhappy? I just want to laugh."

Bai Jiao sniffed: "You have absolutely no romantic sense, of course you wouldn't understand. Who gave you this idea for the proposal?"

Long Teng smiled somewhat smugly: "I came up with it myself. When we went to Richeng, I noticed you really liked the night sky."

Bai Jiao hugged him and smiled softly.

Silly boy, it's not the night sky I like, it's the time I spend with you.
