Chapter 85 - Chapter 84 Rendezvous

Xie Sen stood there, rubbing his right shoulder, staring in shock at the boundless sea before him. He could actually sense a vast expanse of energy, though not intense, it was undeniable.

The giant crocodile and giant bear beasts, which had been lying in their cages, simultaneously looked towards the sea and instinctively moved towards it, but were stopped by the iron bars after only a small movement.

The flying dragon and flying lion beasts also cried out in that direction, scratching at the ground with their claws, as if trying to reach it.

Xie Sen's eyes lit up instantly. Seeing their reaction, he was even more certain that his feeling was correct; there really was energy in the sea, and his contracted beasts had sensed it too!

"What's wrong?" Long Teng rubbed the flying dragon beast, looking into the sea, his eyes shining. "Do you feel danger?"

Xie Sen's lips twitched; he had a feeling that Long Teng was expecting something. He said, "There's another kind of energy in the water that I'm looking for."

As he spoke, a hint of doubt appeared in his eyes. This energy felt completely different from the previous ones; the area was too large, and he couldn't pinpoint its exact location at all—it was everywhere.

At that moment, Adan's excited voice rang in his mind: "Ahhh, Asen, you're amazing! You actually retrieved the gold energy and even found the water energy!"

Xie Sen thought to himself, "Sure enough." In an instant, he felt like a pie had fallen from the sky.

However, he was a little puzzled: "Didn't you sense the water energy before?"

"No, I was too close to the gold energy, and the gold energy was too strong, so I was interfered with," Adan thought for a moment and then said, "And I used up too much energy to pinpoint the location of the gold energy, so my senses are very weak."

Xie Sen thought this made sense and laughed: "Isn't that a good thing? It's just that I feel something's not right, the range is too large, can you pinpoint the range?"

Adan was silent for a moment and then said: "My God, it's actually scattered throughout the water in this area of the sea!"

Xie Sen said: "No wonder I felt the aura of energy everywhere, you seem very surprised?"

Adan: "Think about the energy before, the carriers chosen were all single objects, single..." Energy tends to gather on its own. Dispersing like this, unless…"

Xie Sen felt a bad premonition: "Unless what?"

Adan said, "Unless the energy dispersed."

Xie Sen remembered Adan mentioning this possibility. He rubbed his temples, his head throbbing from the falling pancake: "So, the water energy is dispersed. The energy in this water might not be complete water energy?"

Adan reassured him, "It's possible it dispersed and fell into this sea area together! If you collect the energy from the sea, I can know whether the water energy is complete."

Xie Sen thought it made sense; the energy was right in front of him, and collecting it would be easy.

He walked to the edge of the reef, squatted down, and put his hand in the water.

Suddenly, the calm sea ahead instantly surged into a raging torrent of waves, forming a tall, dark wall that rushed towards Xie Sen in an instant. The

giant wall of waves blocked the light ahead, and Xie Sen's vision went dark. At the same time, energy surged into his arm from a 180-degree angle, unlike the previous surging energy, but like a thin stream, both equally urgent.

"Ah Sen, take your hands off!" Adan shouted in his mind.

Before Xie Sen could react, he was suddenly picked up from behind and pulled back rapidly.

Maine tensed up, grabbed Xie Sen, and jumped onto the back of the Flying Lion Beast. Long Teng reacted almost simultaneously, grabbing Bai Jiao and jumping onto the Flying Dragon Beast.

Just as the two were about to take off, a huge wave crashed. Everyone and their contracted beasts looked towards the source of the sound, only to see the high wall of waves suddenly lose its strength and plummet from the sky.

The sea surged, and the splashing water rolled towards the reefs. The Flying Dragon Beast and the Flying Lion Beast rose up in place to avoid the water. Little Silver was shaken by the impact of the water. The Flying Dragon Beast flew above it, lowered its tail, and pressed it against its shell to help it stand firm against the impact of the waves.

The Flying Lion Beast stood horizontally on the two iron cages to prevent them from being carried away by the sea. The water washed over the reefs and then slid back into the sea in a short while, repeating this for a while before gradually calming down.

Xie Sen's heart pounded. Everything had happened so fast; he hadn't even realized what was going on.

He only knew that if that wave crashed down, given the weight and force of the water, of all the creatures on the reef, only Little Silver might survive.

He calmed himself, noticing that Maine's grip on his waist was tightening. He grabbed Maine's hand and turned to look at him: "I'm fine."

Maine's lips were pressed into a straight line, his whole body tense. His deep eyes met Xie Sen's, a slight glint in them, and suddenly he kissed Xie Sen. He kissed him forcefully, as if only in this way could he confirm his presence.

Long Teng stared at the seawater. Seeing that it had calmed down, he was about to ask what had happened when Bai Jiao covered his mouth with her hand and held her other hand to her lips, indicating not to disturb him.

Long Teng blinked, instinctively holding his breath, glancing at the two people beside him before his gaze returned to Bai Jiao's face.

As Maine kissed him, Xie Sen recalled the scene from just moments ago. He tilted his head back to kiss her, a gesture tinged with reassurance. After a while, when Maine pulled away, he breathed heavily and said again, "I'm fine."

Maine rested his chin on Xie Sen's shoulder: "What happened just now?"

Xie Sen didn't know either, asking Adan in his mind.

Adan's tone was anxious: "The energy was too scattered. It merged into the water. When the energy is recovered, all the energy rushes in at the same time. Look at the color of the water; the energy closest to us is scattered less, and the farther away, the more energy there is. The stronger the energy, the faster it rushes in. The later energy surpasses the earlier energy. The water is the carrier, and the equal movement creates compression."

Xie Sen quickly understood. He subconsciously clenched his fist. The commotion just now was all because he had put his hand in the water.

Xie Sen glanced down and saw that the reef had returned to calm. He patted Maine's hand and briefly explained the reason: "Let's go down first."

Maine pulled him closer: "Stay away from the water." Xie Sen nodded. He didn't want to repeat what had just happened. If he was too slow to stop, it would be a tragedy.

He glanced at the sea, withdrew his water energy, and had to think of another way.

Maine jumped off the back of the flying lion beast with Xie Sen in his arms. Seeing this, Bai Jiao removed his hand from Long Teng's mouth. Long Teng stared at his hand: "Your hand is so soft, hahaha."

Bai Jiao paused in his jumping motion, turned his head to look at Long Teng's bright smile, and sighed helplessly. If it were anyone else, he would definitely think he was being teased. He whispered, "Idiot." He pushed off with his hand and jumped off the back of the flying dragon beast.

Long Teng jumped down after him, casually putting his arm around Bai Jiao's shoulder and leaning close, "What did you just say? I didn't hear you clearly."

Bai Jiao's lips curved slightly, "Nothing." He went straight to the giant crocodile beast to examine its body.

Xie Sen reached the reef and first touched the seashells, unsurprisingly hearing a pitiful cry: "Waaah, so scary..."

Xie Sen chuckled, "What are you afraid of? You live in the sea, even if you get swept in, nothing will happen."

"Waaah, but I still need to find the big tail and big pincers. If I get swept in, I'll have to swim for a long, long time. I'm so big now, it's easy to be spotted while swimming, it's very dangerous." Little Silver cried between sobs.

Xie Sen was a little curious, "You can swim?"

"Of course, I just need to open my mouth. Opening and closing my mouth causes the water to flow, and then I can move. Waaah, what should I do? The treasure is so bright now, if I move, I'll be discovered very quickly." Little Silver cried out in a panic, choking back a sob. "I don't want to throw away the treasure."

Xie Sen comforted her, "Don't worry, we'll think of another way. After the energy is recovered, I need to contact you to communicate. If anything happens, tell Big Black and have it relay my message. I'll go check on the contracted beast first."

After Xie Sen finished speaking, he walked to the giant crocodile beast, asked about its feelings, and then relayed everything to Bai Jiao.

Bai Jiao frowned deeply: "The external injuries aren't a big problem. I have medicine, and their self-healing ability is very strong. It's just that they were fed a kind of mystery drug similar to that used by humans. This drug is very strong and will make the contracted beasts lose their fighting ability."

He added, "Forced contracting also uses this drug. They confront the contracted beasts when they are weak and force them into a contract."

Xie Sen asked, "Is there a way to solve this?"

Bai Jiao said, "Human medicine is too weak for them. I'll try to increase the dosage a little. Don't worry too much. They will slowly recover if they stop taking the drug. They are for auction, and the seller won't really harm them. It's just that they haven't eaten for a long time and are too weak."

Xie Sen breathed a sigh of relief: "There is some spare food in my backpack. We can give them some to tide them over."

He took out food from his backpack. Long Teng's backpack had the most food. Hearing this, he also started taking out food and putting it to the giant crocodile beast's mouth, his eyes shining: "Are crocodiles really not tasty?"

The giant crocodile beast took the food in its mouth, paused in its biting motion, and subconsciously took a step back, watching Long Teng warily.

Maine stood beside the giant bear-beast, studying the lock on the iron cage. Xie Sen, who was feeding the bear-beast, glanced over upon hearing this, then shook his head with amusement. Still thinking about eating crocodiles!

Bai Jiao slipped medicine into the food: "Crocodiles aren't fish," he beckoned to the giant crocodile-beast, "Don't worry, contracted beasts are our friends, we won't hurt you."

The giant crocodile-beast blinked, then carefully snatched the food with its sharp snout, avoiding touching Bai Jiao's hand.

After feeding the two, Bai Jiao continued treating their external injuries, while Xie Sen and Long Teng continued feeding them.

Suddenly, a beeping sound rang out, followed by Maine saying, "It's open."

Xie Sen turned his head and saw the iron cage door holding the giant bear-beast open. The bear-beast let out a high-pitched roar, climbed out, then stood up, grabbed the iron cage with its front paws, and threw it into the sea.

The giant crocodile beast raised its head and roared. Maine came over and unlocked the cage. This time, the unlocking was quick, and a moment later, the beeping sound came again. The giant crocodile beast climbed out of the iron cage, and with a sweep of its thick tail, the cage rolled into the sea.

The two were extremely happy, crawling around the limited area before returning to their original spot to rest.

"Someone's coming," Maine said, looking at the distant sky.

Xie Sen looked over and saw two black dots gradually approaching, growing larger as they got closer—probably two aircraft.

Long Teng said, "What should we do? Should we hide them?"

At the same time, a sound like a ship's horn rang out from the sea, and a huge column of water, several meters high, suddenly rose from the sea not far away. Below the column, a huge black shadow was vaguely visible.

"Wow! A monster from the Dead Sea?" Long Teng exclaimed excitedly, "It looks huge!"

Bai Jiao said, "The aircraft didn't get any closer."

Clearly, they had also seen the large black shadow.

Seeing that the black dot had stopped growing, Xie Sen guessed it was frightened by the huge splash of water. A

thought struck him, and he grabbed Maine's hand: "I'm going to get in the water, pull me away in time." Maine immediately understood. He certainly wouldn't agree to Xie Sen risking his life alone, but since Xie Sen suggested going together, he was certain he could guarantee his safety, so he nodded: "Okay."

Xie Sen had Bai Jiao and Long Teng sit on the back of the Flying Dragon Beast, with the Flying Dragon Beast pressing down on Xiao Yin, while the Giant Crocodile Beast and Giant Bear Beast stayed in the middle of the reef. After positioning themselves, he walked to the edge of the reef, crouched down, and reached out.

Instantly, a huge wall of waves rose again from the sea. Maine quickly picked up Xie Sen and jumped onto the Flying Lion Beast. The wall of waves suddenly crashed down again, creating a massive wave.

"My God, we can't go any further! If a wave rises below us, the aircraft will be swept away!" said the person in the co-pilot's seat on the aircraft.

The people in the back seat agreed immediately, while the person in the pilot's face turned pale: "Send the footage we just filmed to the First Prince. There's no way anyone could survive in a place like this."

"Yeah, one wave and they'd all be swept into the sea. Those guys said they ran west, but maybe they changed direction in an area without surveillance. Coming here is just suicide."

Lanny looked at the received information, tapped the desktop, and asked, "What about the people who were with them?"

"We've already asked them, but they know nothing. It's just a spaceship pilot. He has a complete alibi and doesn't meet the arrest criteria."

Lanny stared at the screen: "Continue the search. Proceed only when the sea is calm."

The spacecraft remained stationary. Xie Sen estimated the angle and had the Flying Lion and Flying Dragon stand in front of Little Silver and the Contract Beast to block them.

Long Teng cheered, his eyes shining as he looked at Xie Sen: "Wow, Sen, you're amazing! Can you control the seawater?"

Xie Sen shook his head: "No, this is just a special situation, and it's very dangerous."

Maine stared at the sea surface and said in a deep voice, "It's getting closer to us."

The crashing wave created a huge wave, and the dark shadow in the sea, which was already close to the wave wall, was pushed forward quite a distance by the water, even though it was large and heavy, and it was now closer to Xie Sen and the others.

"So big!" Long Teng exclaimed.

Xie Sen was also surprised. The dark shadow had surfaced, and its huge body was fully visible. It was at least fifteen meters long, and at first glance, it was extremely shocking.

"It looks like a blue whale," Bai Jiao said, her tone somewhat doubtful, "but the head seems a bit off."

Xie Sen had the same feeling. From its shape, it was indeed a blue whale, but its head was bulging in front, and there were two vertical stripes on top, like roots, but not soft enough. He remembered that blue whale heads weren't like that.

Suddenly, the light brightened, and at the same time, a joyful dragon roar rang in their ears.

Xie Sen looked over and saw Little Silver open its shell. The Flying Dragon Beast placed its body in the water, its head close to the front of the shell, its eyes shining brightly, like two luminous gems.

Little Silver seemed startled and closed its shell again, but quickly opened it again.

"We need to get out of here quickly, it's swimming towards us," Bai Jiao said urgently.

Xie Sen looked at the water and saw a dark shadow, like a warship, rushing straight towards them. The vertical bar on its head swayed from side to side, like the windshield wipers of a modern car. As it got closer, he noticed that the bar split in two at the top, opening and closing like scissors. The Flying Dragon Beast let out

a soft roar at Xie Sen, flicked its tail, and swung from the water to the surface, its body folding into a U-shape, the tip of its tail touching Xie Sen: "It's Little Silver's friend."

Xie Sen was stunned, his expression complex as he looked at the enormous creature that was getting closer—the tail was indeed huge! Who dared say that a blue whale's tail wasn't big? Yes, now he was certain that the large dark shadow was a blue whale.

As for the protrusion on its head, it is clearly another friend of Little Silver's, the big claw, a giant crab with a body nearly two meters long and claws nearly two meters long.

Maine reached out and pulled him closer. The flying lion beast suddenly rose higher, and Xie Sen quickly said, "It's okay, don't go, it's Little Silver's friend."

Long Teng put his arm around Bai Jiao, and was about to pick her up and jump onto the flying dragon beast's back when he heard this, he paused, "Huh?" The next moment he realized what was happening and shouted, "That's so cool!"

Bai Jiao grabbed his wrist and removed his hand from his waist.

Xie Sen pointed at Little Silver, and Maine pulled him down from the flying lion beast and followed him to Little Silver's side.

Xie Sen reached out and stroked the seashell, and Little Silver's voice immediately rang in his mind: "Waaah, big tail, big pincers, I missed you so much, waaah, how did you get so big?"

"Waaah, they saved me, and my treasure wasn't stolen."

As Little Silver spoke, the blue whale got closer and closer, stirring up waves. Xie Sen subconsciously stepped back, and Maine immediately picked him up horizontally to keep the water from touching him.

"Look at the direction the blue whale is swimming, there seems to be someone ahead!" the co-pilot on the aircraft shouted.

"Yes, we can't see their faces clearly, but there are four of them. They should be the people the eldest prince is looking for."

"My god, they're incredibly bold to come here."

"They're too late to regret it now. They'll definitely be swallowed whole by the blue whale. They're not even enough to fill a blue whale's teeth!"

The blue whale swims very fast, and in no time, its head rests on the edge of the reef, like a mountain.

Due to the limited perspective, the people on the aircraft could only see the blue whale's massive body; the people on the reef were completely obscured.

"My god, I told you, they'd definitely be eaten."

"What do we do now?"

"What else can we do? Report to the eldest prince! We definitely can't get the shell and the contracted beast back unless you cut open the blue whale's belly now, before it's digested."

The companion said without hesitation, "Get lost." This kind of behemoth has skin as hard as iron, looks clumsy but is actually incredibly agile, and can even leap out of the sea. Who dares to mess with it?

Soon, they received the order: "Retreat."

Xie Sen swallowed hard. Although he knew the blue whale was Little Silver's friend, it was simply too huge; it could easily swallow them all whole with a single mouth.

The giant crab climbed down from the blue whale's head, its eyes darting around nimbly. Its claws, clasped together, were extended in front of Maine and beside Xie Sen's hand, gurgling softly.

Its claws were large, with many sharp protrusions that gleamed under the pearl's light, clearly very sharp. Xie Sen reached out and carefully touched the claws.

"Thank you for saving Little Silver," the big crab's voice was deep. "Little Silver said you can communicate with us, is that true?"

Xie Sen replied in his mind, "Yes, you're welcome."

The big crab's eyes immediately stared at Xie Sen, becoming cross-eyed. "That's amazing," it said, its voice still deep. "Big Tail also wants to thank you. Do you want to go touch it?"

Xie Sen looked at the blue whale. Although the waves had subsided, the blue whale was too big, and water had accumulated on the rocks in front of its head. So he gave up the idea of going ashore and said to Maine, "Go over there." Maine

carried him to the front of the blue whale's head. He reached out and touched the blue whale's smooth skin, and a cheerful and lively voice immediately appeared in his mind: "Can you really understand me?"

"Yes." Xie Sen looked surprised. The blue whale's tone of voice was too different from its size.

"Oh, that's great." The blue whale cheered, its tail subconsciously slapping the water. A wave crashed onto the rocks, and except for Xie Sen, the pants of the other three were almost completely soaked.

The blue whale's tail froze: "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to, waaaah..." Huge tears welled up in its eyes, "I was just too excited, even my father and dad haven't talked to anyone before!"

Xie Sen looked at his tear-soaked arm, his lips twitching: "It's okay, it's okay, don't cry, uh, try not to move your tail."

"Okay," the blue whale immediately agreed, its tears instantly stopping, "Thank you for saving Little Silver."

Xie Sen said no need to thank him, turning to Maine: "Put me in the middle, change your pants first."

At the same time, Long Teng glanced at Bai Jiao, took out a tent, set it up in the middle, and said to Bai Jiao: "Go change your pants." Bai Jiao looked at him with slight surprise, thanked him, and went into the tent to change her pants.

After they were all changed, Maine carried Xie Sen into the tent. Xie Sen shifted his feet

, "I'm not wet." Maine put him down and said in a deep voice, "I'm worried about you being out of sight." He took off his clothes quickly, and Xie Sen glanced at him before looking away, clearing his throat, "I won't do anything reckless."

After Maine finished changing, he walked up to Xie Sen, lifted his chin, and looked at him intently, "Whatever you do, you must tell me." Xie Sen nodded, took his hand, and walked out.

"What do we do now?" Long Teng asked, his face full of excitement, "How about we ride on the back of the Blue Whale and go play in the Sea of Death?"

Xie Sen shook his head, "We can do that later, but not now." If that were the case, he would definitely get into the water, and he couldn't touch the water in this area right now, and he had more important things to do.

He looked at the Blue Whale, "Little Silver and the contracted beast are safe here and won't be discovered. We can go back to the hotel and be investigated."

There was no evidence in the Nether Sea to convict them or clear their names, so they could leave whenever they wanted.

After some discussion, the four agreed that the blue whale and the giant crab would help look after the giant crocodile beast and the giant bear beast. The blue whale readily agreed, promising to feed them well.

A short while later, Captain Ximai looked at the security camera at the entrance, watched the four people enter the building, and blinked sharply.

Weren't they supposed to be swallowed? Was he seeing things?
