Chapter 74 - Chapter 73 Arrival

Xie Sen looked at the contracted beasts who were all agreeing and praising the giant leopard beast's brilliant idea, speechless. This really was contracted beast thinking. This was a human city, not a forest; moving wasn't that simple. If this group of contracted beasts walked into the street together, it would definitely cause a commotion. He said seriously, "This method won't work."

"You don't believe I can remember the way?" the black giant leopard beast looked at him intently.

Little Spot leaned closer: "Brother's super awesome, he'll definitely remember it!"

The giant leopard said, "Why don't I come too? We'll definitely remember it."

Xie Sen was both amused and exasperated. Seeing the contracted beasts eager to volunteer, he quickly said, "It's not that I don't trust the giant leopard, on the contrary, I believe you can move on your own without any problem, but your status is not acceptable."

"You are contracted beasts, and high-level contracted beasts at that. Any one of you appearing on the street will attract attention and crowds. If you move together, it will cause traffic jams!"

The black giant leopard tilted its head and suggested, "Then let's scare them away with our roars? Make them afraid to look at us?"

"No," Xie Sen rubbed its paw. This idea was even worse. If that happened, the general public might think that the contracted beasts were going to attack humans! "I think I'll find someone to help. If I'm not back when the new place is finished, I'll have someone take you there."

"Is that reliable? Or should you take me with you?" the giant leopard said.

Xie Sen said, "Absolutely reliable!"

Xie Sen acted immediately, contacting Xu Da directly. During this time, Mei Yin and Long Teng had been practicing together at Long Yu's villa. When Xie Sen accompanied Mei Yin there on weekends, Grandpa Xu was always there, very free, only occasionally visiting the Botanical Research Institute to check on the progress of plant research. When Xie Sen thought of asking for help, he immediately thought of

Xu Da. Upon hearing his words, Xu Da immediately agreed with great enthusiasm and quickly arrived in Districts Four and Five to meet the contracted beasts.

"Hahaha, I've wanted to see them for a long time! They're amazing, they seem very docile!" Xu Da exclaimed in surprise.

Xie Sen smiled and gave him a brief introduction to the personalities of the contracted beasts, then said, "They can understand what you say. When you move, just hire a top-tier large shuttle. They'll go up by themselves once the door is open."

He then sent Xu Da a floor plan of the new residence for the contracted beasts: "Please just send them there. Once they're there, they'll know where they live."

Xu Da was surprised: "So smart?"

Xie Sen smiled: "Yes, they're all very intelligent."

Xu Da laughed: "That's easy, leave it to me."

Xie Sen then instructed the contracted beasts to follow Xu Da's instructions. Knowing the move wouldn't be delayed, the contracted beasts happily agreed.

After arranging everything, Xie Sen and Xu Da left Districts Four and Five. Xu Da returned to his residence, while Xie Sen contacted Maine, telling him the contracted beasts would move on the 20th and inquiring about feeding the robots.

Maine said, "The design drawings have been given to Huo Feng. We're rushing to finish them, and they should be ready by the 20th. The food for the contracted beasts has been ordered, and they'll be delivered regularly. I'll contact them later, and they'll start delivering from the 20th."

Xie Sen said, "That's good."

Maine said, "I'll come pick you up right away; it's almost time."

Xie Sen glanced at the time; it was almost 5 o'clock. Their pre-departure briefing was scheduled for 5:30 at Long Yu's villa. He said, "Okay, I've already taken care of things here."

The two arrived at Long Yu's villa before 5:30. Long Teng was already staying at the villa, and Bai Jiao and Captain Liu Chen, whom Long Yu had found, arrived shortly after. The five people who were about to travel to the small planet sat in a circle on the sofa.

Liu Chen was tall and thin, with dark skin. He was taciturn and efficient. He sent the flight path to everyone's wristbands and gave them a final reminder of the supplies they needed to bring.

After confirming everything was correct, he reviewed the entire itinerary and said, "See you at the spaceport at eight o'clock tomorrow morning."

The next day at eight o'clock, everyone gathered in the private spaceship docking area of the spaceport. Behind them was a small, circular spaceship with a soaring black dragon painted on its side.

Liu Chen was the first to enter the spaceship. The spaceship was divided into an operating area, a rest area, a fitness area, and a dining area. Liu Chen said, "A-Teng, come with me to the cockpit. The rest of you can do as you please. Bring us food at mealtimes. Tomorrow, Maine and A-Teng will switch roles."

This was an arrangement that had been discussed beforehand. Liu Chen would remain in the cockpit, but he could rest most of the time, only helping Long Teng and Maine if they encountered any trouble, ensuring their safety.

Liu Chen and Long Teng went to the cockpit. Bai Jiao said, "I'm going back to the lounge to study herbs. Call me if you need anything."

Xie Sen nodded and returned to the lounge with Maine. Maine sat on the sofa designing software, while Xie Sen trained the plants, summoning all of them and issuing various commands.

The plants started out in complete chaos; potatoes were jammed with rice, chili peppers were tangled in watermelon vines... various mishaps occurred. Two hours later, they were finally able to coordinate their attacks, working together without interfering with each other.

Xie Sen sat back on the sofa, opened the system panel, and saw his energy was currently 678/800, just over 100 short of activating the fifth plant.

He wasn't in a hurry, because he realized that if his energy reached 800, the plant would automatically activate, immediately consuming the energy, leaving him with almost zero usable energy.

No energy meant he couldn't exchange plants for combat, which was very dangerous for him. Moreover, his body was currently healthy, and he was on his way to find wood energy, so whether or not he activated the fifth plant was not important to him at the moment.

On the contrary, not activating it was the safest option for him; he had enough energy to use, even enough to provide food. Of course,

he wouldn't waste it carelessly. Based on previous experience, when Adan sensed the next energy location, he would likely need to activate the fifth plant; the more energy he had left, the easier it would be to activate it later.

The journey to the small planet was long, but not difficult at all; on the contrary, it was quite pleasant. The happiest of all was Long Teng. He never imagined he'd be able to eat so much delicious food every day on the spaceship!

Breakfast was fragrant white porridge with spicy shredded potatoes and fried meat. Lunch and dinner consisted of stewed potatoes with meat, stir-fried green peppers with meat, shredded potatoes with white rice, and spicy dried meat and potato strips as snacks. He even got to eat watermelon once a day!

When he wasn't piloting, he couldn't resist following the aroma to the kitchen around noon, eager to eat something, but Tuan Tuan kept a close watch on him, determined not to let him sneak a bite.

When it was his turn to pilot, he couldn't sit still at mealtimes, frequently contacting Xie Sen to ask when they could eat.

Sometimes, Xie Sen, driven to distraction by the questions, would simply have Bai Jiao bring him the food first, and then when Liu Chen ate, he would find that one dish was missing, leading to another commotion.

The atmosphere on the spaceship was relaxed and pleasant. On the fourth night, they were finally approaching their destination.

Everyone gathered in the cockpit. Xie Sen looked at the screen in front of him, which displayed three large spheres. He asked A Dan, "Can we confirm which one it is now?"

"Wait a moment..." Xie Sen's right shoulder felt slightly hot. After a short while, A Dan said, "The closest one."

Xie Sen smiled and said, "Then it's definitely the one. The closest one is green."

Liu Chen said, "Take your seats. We're about to land."

The landing process was bumpy and lasted a long time. Gradually, the colorful planets outside the window receded, turning into stars hanging against a black backdrop.

The spaceship's mechanical voice announced: "External information measurement results: oxygen concentration 20%, real-time temperature 24°C, humidity 42%, land?"

Liu Chen replied, "Land."

Bai Jiao smiled, "Perfectly suited for biological survival; there's a high probability of highly intelligent life on this planet."

The spaceship descended rapidly, and a wave of dizziness washed over them. Shortly after, the spaceship's mechanical voice announced: "Obstacle encountered. Changing course."

Liu Chen operated the spaceship, turning on the lighting equipment. He frowned as he looked down at the ground covered in vegetation. The spaceship flew around for a while before finally finding a flat spot. He turned off the lights and glided down.

The moment they landed, a light suddenly appeared on the screen at the front of the spaceship. The light grew brighter and brighter, moving closer to the spaceship, allowing the people on board to see the situation outside.

Xie Sen looked in surprise at the tall men holding torches. At a glance, there were at least a dozen of them, each comparable to a top model, with solid muscles and powerful movements.

But...why are they all just wearing animal hides?

"Wow! So cool!" Long Teng exclaimed excitedly.

However, the people outside were clearly not excited; their faces were full of anger and fear. They waved torches, shouted at the spaceship, and some even tried to throw torches at it, but were stopped by another.

Bai Jiao looked surprised: "Judging from their attire, they seem to be in the primitive era."

Xie Sen agreed wholeheartedly: "I think so too." Torches and animal hides—there was no better explanation than the primitive era.

Maine said: "Shall we go down? They might be about to make a move."

Liu Chen said: "After four days of continuous flight, we need to find a place to check the spaceship. The environment here isn't right, and finding another landing spot won't be easy. I suggest we conserve our energy."

At this moment, Adan said in Xie Sen's mind: "I sense wood energy, it's 280 kilometers to the east!" Xie Sen looked eastward, but it was pitch black, and he couldn't see anything. After

discussing it for a while, the group quickly made a decision: to get off the spaceship and learn about the planet from the native inhabitants.

Xie Sen and his group disembarked from the spaceship and headed towards the crowd. They were surrounded after only a few steps. The man at the front had a golden lion with a roaring mouth on his chest. He had short blond hair and deep-set features. He asked loudly, "Who are you?"

Xie Sen's eyes lit up with joy. It was good that they could communicate.

Long Teng looked at them curiously and smiled, "We're from Brant Star, we came here to play."

"No," the short-haired man snapped, "This isn't a place to play, you'd better leave immediately!"

"How can we?" Long Teng scratched the back of his head, "We've only just arrived, we haven't seen anything yet."

"Chief," someone ran up from behind the short-haired man, their voice urgent, "Kabu's body is burning up, the Beast God is taking him away!"

"Kabu!" The leader's expression changed drastically, his lips trembling. He warned Xie Sen and the others, "Leave immediately, or you'll all die! The Beast God is enraged!" He

turned and ran back the way he came. His companions also looked anxious, but they didn't leave; instead, they stood guard, watching Xie Sen and the others.
