Chapter 7 - Becoming Friends with Gyan Gaming

Ankit understood the power of networking—especially in the gaming world. Determined to connect with up-and-coming Free Fire YouTubers, he spent his evenings commenting his UID and name on their videos. But despite repeated attempts, none of the influencers responded or accepted his friend requests.

Undeterred, Ankit changed tactics. During one of Gyan Sujan's livestreams—already gathering momentum in the community—Ankit sent a superchat with his UID and name. The move was bold, but it worked: Gyan Gaming noticed and sent him a friend request. Ankit finally received the coveted invitation to play with one of the soon-to-be giants of the Free Fire scene.

In their first squad match, Gyan Sujan and his teammates were stunned by Ankit's gameplay. "Yo bro, are you a hacker? I'm going to report you!" Gyan exclaimed after witnessing Ankit's masterful booyah. Calmly, Ankit clarified via chat, "Bro, I recorded my gameplay for YouTube—watch and decide if I'm hacking." After uploading, Ankit left the group to let his game speak for itself.

Gyan reviewed Ankit's YouTube channel live, verifying the legitimacy of his skills and shocked to find booyah after booyah, with original timestamps dating back to Free Fire's launch. His audience and other players joined the discussion, reviewing Ankit's footage and confirming he was no cheater—just an exceptional player.

The next day's video further proved Ankit's authenticity. Sometimes he missed shots, sometimes he dragged the fire button for headshots, always displaying natural skill rather than exploits. With doubt erased, Gyan Gaming endorsed him, bringing Ankit into his group as a trusted teammate.

For Ankit, playing alongside Gyan Sujan wasn't just about fame. Gyan brought joy and camaraderie, and Ankit respected him despite their playful accusations and competitive banter. Through Gyan, Ankit hoped to meet other legends like Raistar, ever eager to expand his network.

Gyan soon started asking for advice on improving his gameplay and character skills. With Ankit and his squad all above level 50, their win rates and headshot ratios attracted plenty of attention—from fans, fellow YouTubers, and even Free Fire itself, which commented encouragement on his videos.

As their friendship and reputation grew, Ankit became an influencer not only through raw gameplay but also by inspiring and assisting the next generation of creators—changing the Free Fire community from the inside out.
