Kelly turned around to face him, pushing her hair back from her face. "How do you feel?"
Liam was still catching his breath, his chest rising and falling slowly, his hands resting loose on his thighs. "I liked it," he said. "A lot." A pause. "Are there more surprises like that?"
Kelly laughed softly. She sat on the edge of the coffee table across from him and looked at him with an expression that was somewhere between fond and genuinely puzzled. "Can I say something?"
"Go ahead."
"I don't say this enough, but—" She tilted her head slightly. "You always blow me away. Every single time. The fact that you still have that kind of energy and just keep going like that." She shook her head slowly. "That's a lot."
Liam looked at her. "That's your fault."
She blinked. "My fault?"
"Yeah." He sat forward slightly, his elbows coming to rest on his knees. "You want me to explain it?"
"Please."
