Lyra was a blur on the battlefield, a shifting, unpredictable presence that enemy soldiers could not seem to pin down no matter how hard they tried.
Her ability: Void Step, allowed her to create temporary black holes and use them to teleport short distances, and she was using it to devastating effect.
One moment she would be standing in the open, her gun raised, and the next she would vanish, sucked into a swirling void that collapsed in on itself the instant she disappeared. Then, a fraction of a second later, another black hole would open behind an enemy soldier, and Lyra would step out of it as casually as if she had just walked through a door.
The enemy never saw it coming.
