Chapter 28 - Epilogue: Null’s Echo

**Epilogue: Null's Echo**

Within Null's Sanctuary, they faced trials of memory and spirit. Aetherion witnessed the truth of his origin and learned of Null's final fate: it had been shattered by Yggdrasil, its essence sealed away here to prevent Gringo from ever claiming it. He reached the heart of the sanctuary and took hold of **Null's Essence**, a shimmering core of pure potential.

As he did, a voice whispered in the minds of both Aetherion and Rin, a voice that was both ancient and familiar.

*"Zion… I return…"*

The Sanctuary sealed behind them, leaving them in the changed Nexus. Rin's music resonated with the promise of Null's revival, but his private envy now cast a shadow on their victory.

From the darkest corners of the multiverse, Gringo watched. His gambit to divide them had failed. His shadow seemed to merge with the lingering remnants of the Anti-Void, his greed twisting into something far more dangerous.

Suddenly, the theme song from "Your Lie in April" began to play throughout the Nexus. Everyone turned to find All wearing headphones, the music blaring from its unplugged phone.

All froze. "Uh… Plot development?" it said, hastily turning the song off.

Aetherion raised an eyebrow. "Are you a late-night Otaku with a cold coffee?"

"No!" All shuttered. "It's connected to the Narrative Concave Amphitheater, you don't need to know about that!"

Rin smirked, the first genuine smile he'd shown. "Listening to romance songs, eh mate?"

The multiverse held its breath. Null's revival loomed, a new war was brewing, and the fate of all creation rested on a team of cosmic beings and their emotionally repressed, 4th-dimensional narrator.
