Ficool

Chapter 1 - Prologue

The city never slept.Neon lights burned against the velvet sky, and the heartbeat of the metropolis throbbed inside the most dangerous club in town. A place where only the powerful played, and where the weak came to sell their souls.

She didn't belong here. And yet, with her brother's debts choking her future, she had no choice but to step into this glittering hell. Tonight, she was nothing but a waitress in borrowed heels, carrying a tray that trembled as much as her hands.

They warned her about the VIP table. The one nobody wanted to serve. The one where monsters in human skin sat, men who could ruin lives with a single glance.

And at the center of it—him.

He sat like a king among mortals, impossibly handsome, dangerously cold, his obsidian eyes sharp and merciless. Every head bowed in his presence, every whisper died on trembling lips. The air itself seemed to obey him.

When her eyes met his, the world stilled.

A chill raced down her spine, though she forced her chin high. She would not cower, not in front of him. But her heartbeat betrayed her, quick and frantic, and his smirk told her he heard every beat.

Predator. That was the only word her mind could conjure.

And in that instant, she understood a terrible truth:He wasn't someone she could run from.He was the kind of man who found you, claimed you, and consumed you whole.

She had walked into the lion's den, and the lion had noticed her.

And he never let go of what was his.
