"Adam misbehaved with me yesterday." Coral began the conversation at the breakfast table. "I tried to call you, but you didn't answer."
Yesterday, she had called and messaged Sloane after leaving the bar, but the woman didn't reply to any of her calls or messages. Her behavior was totally irresponsible. Coral was furious. It was rare for her to lose her calm, but Sloane and Adam managed to do it this time. First, she had dragged her to the bar against her will, and then her friend had misbehaved with her. She couldn't let go of Adam's behavior and needed to talk with Sloane about it. But Sloane returned to the apartment so late at night that she couldn't talk with her, so she had to bring the matter up in the morning.
"He was a little drunk, so maybe he misbehaved with you." Sloane replied casually, while eating her food.
"He was not drunk." Coral said firmly. "He was completely in his right mind."
"He was only dancing with you." Sloane stated.
