My eyes widened as I took them in, standing right there in front of me.
My mother... Christine beside her.... Isabel... Alessandro's mother.
Both of them stood there eyes already filled with tears.
For a second I couldn't move or speak...… it didn't feel real then everything hit me at once.
The fear, the stress, the loneliness, the pressure I had been holding in all week... It broke.
I stepped forward and collapsed into them.
A sob tore through my chest as I wrapped my arms around them.
"Oh my baby…...." Isabel's voice was soft full of emotion as she pulled me closer.
"Aria...…" My mother's arms came around me too holding me just as tightly.
And just like that...… i wasn't alone anymore.
I cried into them, my body shaking as they held me steady.
"It's okay...….. we're here." Isabel whispered gently her hand moving softly through my hair.
"We're here now...….."
I felt the shift.... Like I could breathe again.... like I wasn't carrying everything by myself anymore.
