His kiss deepened, making me lose myself in it. His hands slid under my clothes—that's when I realized. Wait, we're outside!
I snapped my eyes open.
Viktor's eyes were still closed, completely lost in the kiss. His tongue moved everywhere inside my mouth, hungry and passionate.
I gently pushed his chest and turned my head to the side, breaking the kiss.
"What happened? Couldn't breathe?" he asked, tilting my chin toward him again, ready to continue.
But I quickly covered my mouth with both hands. "No, wait! We're outside right now—we can't do this here. What if someone sees us?"
My concern was real. We couldn't be doing things like this out in the open. Viktor finally moved off me, ruffling my hair as he pulled me into his arms while sitting and facing the sea.
It felt nice being in his embrace. I could hear his heartbeat—steady and warm. But when I kissed him earlier, there was this strange familiarity, like I had kissed him before too.
