Her eyes searched his face desperately.
"But now I'm back."
A pause.
"Please don't be angry anymore."
Chibuzor remained silent.
"I know you still love me," she added carefully. "And I really regret what happened. It was a mistake."
Her voice trembled slightly.
"I know… it became something regular after a while," she admitted with shame. "But all those times, I was still thinking about you."
She swallowed hard.
"Everything with Fourth brother… I never truly loved him. I was lonely when you traveled, and somehow I found myself with him."
She lowered her gaze briefly.
"And then I couldn't stop."
The confession hung heavily in the air.
"But I regret all of it," she said quickly, looking back at him. "Please forgive me."
Still, Chibuzor said nothing.
"I know you still love me," she whispered again. "You once told me you would never stop loving me."
Her eyes softened at the memory.
