A dangerous glint flashed in Chibuzor's eyes. The warmth he had shown Adaugo moments ago vanished, replaced by something sharper, colder. He clenched his fists, his mind racing. Professor Nathaniel had been harassing her for months.
Though she resisted every advance, she was careful not to provoke him, after all, he held authority as one of her lecturers. But the situation was escalating. Chibuzor couldn't just stand by any longer.
Noticing the shadow crossing his face, Adaugo placed a hand lightly on his arm, her voice gentle with worry.
"Don't do anything reckless. I'll be fine."
