Ever since the announcement about the upcoming Nesting Trials, my nerves had been completely shot.
Darius's disappearance for an entire week only made everything worse. His absence left me feeling hollow, my appetite vanishing completely. Dalia practically had to force-feed me just to get a few bites down my throat.
The atmosphere among the contestants had grown toxic. Carly had turned into some kind of queen bee, manipulating the other girls and turning them against anyone who didn't fall in line with her schemes.
