Dalia's POV
Dary kept his mouth shut, but the determination burning in his eyes told me everything I needed to know. He had formed some kind of plan, and knowing him, it probably involved trouble. His schemes always made me nervous. My mental and emotional reserves were completely drained, so I let him guide me toward Tulip's office without much resistance.
"What exactly do you think you're doing?" I demanded, planting my feet firmly on the ground as frustration clouded my thoughts.
"You already know the answer to that," he shot back, wrapping his fingers around my wrist and tugging me forward. "And quit acting like a child. You look ridiculous."
"You're the one being ridiculous!" I fired back.
"Right," he said with a mocking grin, raising his eyebrows. "Because clearly I'm the irrational one here."
"Can I punch you right now?" I whispered through gritted teeth.
He completely ignored my threat and continued dragging me toward the administration building.
