Restlessness consumed me like a slow-burning fever.
Theodore had forbidden my training sessions completely. My presence was only required at essential pack ceremonies, though I found excuses to skip most gatherings whenever possible.
Traditionally, a Luna would visit every newborn pup individually to offer blessings. However, given my condition, Theodore had modified this custom. Now all new mothers would assemble at the pack house on designated days where I could bless multiple families at once.
The arrangement suited me perfectly.
Pack members treated me with growing respect, and gradually the initial awkwardness faded. They regarded me with genuine reverence as their Luna. Though strange initially, I found myself naturally settling into this role. My protective instincts toward pack members strengthened daily.
