Tulip's eyes burned with murderous intent as she stared at me across the classroom. The hatred radiating from her was almost tangible, and I welcomed it. I was counting on her to make one fatal mistake. Just one slip, and I would have the perfect excuse to end her miserable existence. The memory of what she had tried to force me into still made my blood boil. If not for Dary and Dalia pulling me back from the brink, I would have already torn her throat out.
Vaughn had executed my orders flawlessly. Tulip was officially expelled from my pack, cast out like the treacherous snake she was. I knew she would crawl back to her parents, begging for sanctuary, but I had already closed that door. My conversation with father had been brief but effective. When I told him about her crimes against me, his fury had been swift and absolute.
